Aug 25,2021Having a through-floor lift installed enables us to stay in the house and area we like where very few suitable alternative properties are available. The lift is very compact with minimal disruption to the living area and there is still very usable space in the bedroom above. We found the company very helpful and efficient to deal with and their installers were excellent in all respects. The lift is easy to operate and we are already very pleased we bought it.

Aug 18,2021An excellent lift. There was some confusion when the first surveyor visited, about fire precautions but this was soon sorted out. Stiltz arranged for us to visit a home where one was installed before we bought one - this helped us to decide. There seemed to be several financial deals available in the months before we agreed to place an order. These changed with time - but this was during the early stages of the pandemic.

Aug 18,2021Enjoying the luxury and benefit of my recently installed Stiltz lift. No household should be without one. Accidents will happen but, one obstacle, falling down the stairs as so many of my elderly friends have, has been reduced. Such a treat to transport vacuum cleaners and other heavy items without any effort. As to exercise by climbing stairs? There are other safer and better ways to keep fit. Delighted with my lift.

Aug 17,2021I never give top marks for anything in any survey as it might lure manufacturers into false sense of security, thinking that they are perfect. I like to leave a little room for improvement, having said that I cannot really find any specific detail in my Stltz homelift that I consider needs changing for the better. If my lift were a car I would make it a mini, small, neat and nippy. It gets me upstairs with no fuss and fits in my house very unobtrusively. It was certainly a cheaper option as opposed to moving house to a bungalow so I could get in to the bedrooms easily. Well done Stiltz, you have made my home life so much easier and given me back some independence, which is important. Only negative aspect I would mention that the buttons to raise and lower the lift are super sensitive. I have limited force in my hands and sometimes find myself releasing the button mid flight. Scary when between floors, however now I am aware of the problem I shall just have to make sure and push harder for longer!

Aug 16,2021The Stiltz lift has turned the house into a bungalow which means I can stay here much longer and not have to worry about the stairs. It looks stylish and is quiet in operation. The installation only took 2 days and the quality of workmanship was excellent. Although the lift was not cheap it was the best option for me and considerably cheaper than moving financially and emotionally - highly recommended

The whole Team at Stiltz are all wonderful in my opinion from the Sales to After Sales. I hardly had any mess which I was dreading but the workmen Steven and Wesley were brilliant. I had hardly any mess at all. In my opinion I would highly recommend Stiltz. Thanks.

Jul 16,2021Lift ordered in February. delays were probably unavoidable but communication from Stiltz was appalling..lift broke down on day 2 or 3. it was fixed promptly. UPS ordered at same time as lift, didn't arrive. No apology or explanation. i had to make numerous phone calls. When box finally arrived it was suggested the new floor needed to come up again! it didn't have to come up in the end but the socket that was installed with the lift with the electric cable hanging quite away from the lift (they don't show you that cable in marketing pictures) was removed and replaced and ceiling had to be filled and painted. The permanent fan on UPS box makes a constant noise. they dont tell you that either! Engineers were pretty helpful but service from office and organisation is dreadful. Complaints person however was very helpful and sympathetic.

Jul 14,2021The Builders came in for 4 days and although it was very noisy and disruptive as we had no access to the upper floor the team were very friendly, respectful and extremely helpful. When they had finished they left everything spick and span. We enjoyed their company. The lift was fitted the following week in one day. Everything was explained very clearly with trial runs. We have found the lift ideal for our disability problems and are enjoying using it. satisfactory in all respects.

Jul 13,2021Not at all to do with the work/works of Stiltz i believe and it looks like a very professional company . I am Concerned today about what type of people you hire , myself being 19 and a new driver should not of had the experience i had today. Unfortunately today on the way home from work in London I came across a STILTZ 70 plate van that didn't understand how to use a roundabout. The Driver of this van , that i will find out about very soon as i plan to complain , thought it would be a great idea whilst driving his STILTZ Van representing the company to cut me off several times on the A127 using all the inappropriate language out the window towards me , bullied and pushed me out of my lane several times nearly into the gaurd rail in the middle of the motorway. Im sure all the traffic behind me could see this amazing driving taking place and thought what a great company. i hope i will receive a call tomorrow from the office as have given my number and hopefully this 45 year old man can take his driving test again. kind regards , Luke

Jun 17,2021It would be difficult to fault Stiltz Homelifts. We've had one for over a month now and it's been as good as it promised to be in every respect. In fact it gets used more than I had expected. I thought it might be a little jerky starting off and had a handle fitted but it's very smooth: you can carry a cup of tea and not hold on it's that smooth a ride. Installation staff were very good: there's no mess. All the bits and pieces are parceled up and collected the next day. What would I improve? I'd prefer to be able to press the lift button once instead of having to keep my thumb on the button all the while I want the lift to move. I'd like a system that seals the gap between the lift carriage and the insert when it's on the upper floor. We have friends who have a traditional style lift. The Stiltz lift looks far superior. It's a design statement rather than something to be hidden away. If you have space for a home lift and can afford one, a Stiltz lift must set the standard against which others should be judged. We would certainly buy the same lift again. Post script. I wrote this review when we'd had the lift for a little over a month when it was all shiny and new in our lives. I'm adding this note four months later to say that we've had no issues with the lift and it's become part of our lives now. If you tried to take it away, we'd fight tooth and nail to keep it.

May 29,2021We have had a fire seal wheelchair lift fitted. The lift it’s self is absolutely amazing. My husband is now able to get to the second floor of our house, which he was unable to do before. The installers were absolutely amazing. They explained everything from start to finish. They were very very tidy. They worked tirelessly to complete the work within the 4 day time frame. I can not praise John and Stuart enough. Thank you

Aug 26,2021Excellent service and installation team were very friendly and considerate. The lift is pleasing to look at and being largely transparent doesn't dominate the room.The price was around the same as other, less stylish, lifts we looked at. It's quite quiet in operation too. And apart from people carrying it's rather useful for transporting heavy items upstairs!
