Jan 13,2021Having installed a Dou Through Lift in 2015 we were very impressed with the item once the teething issues were resolved and signed up for an annual service contract. Since then every year we have had to chase up for the annual service - this year months overdue -despite contact in the Autumn and told this was in hand. Now very disappointed with Stiltz and would have to think carefully before recommending this product.

Jan 13,2021Stiltz Homelifts at my house. the lift was for my wife in a wheelchair plus carer. there was asbestos.the carpets and floorboards had to come up. the central heating pipes had to be rerouted. the team came on time ready for action and got work. they installed the lift with minimum of mess and disturbance, left the place clean and tidy, gave me the documentation and instructions, showed me how to work the lift and left. they have been back since to carry out routine maintenance and check all is in order. I have been happy to recommend Stiltz and to show off the lift to prospective customers .

Jan 12,2021Unfortunately Mr Billett is no longer with me. He had Pulmonary Fibrosis..While he was at home he had increasing difficulty in getting up the stairs. His condition worsened and it would have been impossible for him to go upstairs. The lift made this all possible and also helped me. Now I use the lift to move the vacuum cleaner,which is very heavy, and it is also useful to take a basket of laundry upstairs from time to time. Only once have I inadvertently pushed the emergency button when removing things from the lift.

Dec 09,2020It is very impressive, one or two times we have had to adjust where we standing to get “lligt-off” but nothing serious. It is not used everyday as we try to convince ourselves that our muscles still work as well as they did 10 or 30 years ago!

Dec 07,2020We have the lift an excellent choice as Mrs Kenworthy had a fall and fractured her pelvis, making it impossible for her to use the stairs. The result of having the lift is that for her she stills has a two storey house instead if a bungalow. The lift is great for transporting laundry between the two floors and has been used to take dining chairs downstairs. Our only problem was sorted promptly when a guide rail was replaced.

Dec 07,2020Very good lift fits like a dream even in my living room, the fitters were very clean and no mess to clean up afterwards, five stars to them. Th only problem was the wait between ordering and it being fitted, so book early early.

Dec 03,2020The below issues are solved but after 2 months of extra waiting for the part to arrive from overseas, now the lift is finally working the way it should be, with the long waiting and many communications and explanation, I can confirm that it is not the easiest job to reach this stage though, however I give A+ for their good and responsible technical team ------------------------------------------------------------ The complained issues After almost one year of waiting for this company's lift to be ordered and arrive from China, finally they come to install it, when they said it is all finished they left the main electrical cable dangled loose from the top to the base of it, and untighten screws of the middle main cover. low quality all over

Dec 02,2020Mostly very satisfied with the performance but occasionally it jolts. Sometimes it will start off and jolt in a way that makes you think it is going to drop down but it fairly quickly corrects itself. If you were of a nervous disposition it would frighten the life out of you. Nevertheless very glad to have it installed for use on my bad days.

Having put our house on the market to buy a bungalow and being unable to find one at the right price, in the right condition and more importantly in the right semi rural area we researched alternatives. Stair lifts did not appeal - slow and old fashioned !!! our one person Stiltz Duo fits nearly behind the door in our lounge and straight up into the bedroom. It can be sent packing upstairs if the footprint of the lift is required when we have company. Another bonus is that it cost us around the same amount as it would have done to pay agency fees and solicitors and removal costs without having to have the upheaval of moving house, decorating and recarpeting. Win win win.

Jan 15,2021This is probably the best purchase we have ever made. Without this we would not have been able to exist in our home without a lot of help. After my wife and I had major surgery, not at the same time thank god, we were too poorly to be able to tackle the stairs to get to the bedroom and or the bathroom, only the lift made that possible. It has futureproofed our home. A stairlift would not have been a good alternative because of the position and design of the stairs, also a stairlift would take over minute to do the journey compared with the 12.5 seconds taken by the lift. All in all, a good purchase.
