Stiltz is the UK-based manufacturer and installer of the elegant and compact Stiltz Duo and Stiltz Trio Homelifts. The products are ideal for getting around your home if stairs are becoming a challenge; the Trio+ will accommodate a full-sized wheelchair if needed. So whether you need a little extra help now, or are future-proofing and planning for the coming years, make your life easier with a Stiltz Homelift.
We have installed two Stiltz lifts, one from lower ground to ground floor and one from ground floor to first. Both installations were carried out efficiently and quickly by the building and installation teams, coping with both timber and concrete beam flooring. Exactly on schedule, precisely as specified both installations are now almost two years old. The only minor maintenance incident was reported at 3pm, within 20 minutes we had discussed it with an engineer who then travelled from Birmingham and we were fully serviceable by 5.30pm that day - on a Friday! These lifts have made a dramatic difference due to my wife's mobility issues. Perfect!
Truly brilliant ! We have a Stilz lift in our granny annex for my disabled mother in a wheelchair and this has transformed her world as now she can go upstairs to a proper bed in the bedroom. Easy to install, space efficient and truly superb.
Lift since Sept. 2018 with no problems. Due for annual inspection but have not been contacted.by you. When lockdown is over will have to contact you for a date.
Love the lift which connects our kitchen to the garage below where I have the washing machine and dryer. As we are 'getting on' it seemed a good investment for the future and enables us to get to the garage, car, garden without using the outside steps especially in the winter. However, having had it two years we still have a major issue; every time one of us uses it the internet goes down for several minutes and the radios all crackle. The radios are a minor problem but the internet problem is really annoying . Stiltz say they have never come across this and the internet provider says it's not their problem. Does anyone else have this issue?
I had a Stiltz Duo lift installed a few years ago so that my husband (80+) could carry on living in our home and I could fulfill my promise that he wouldn't spend his final years in a care home. What a difference it made to the quality of life for both of us; he had dementia and was not able to walk very far but we travelled in the lift together and would usually sing to each other on the short journey. It was an adventure that he loved. From the start of the process with the initial survey through to completion of the installation the team were helpful, courteous and efficient. My husband died earlier this year and I will be moving house in the Spring of next year. I am in my mid 70s and, as I become infirm with advancing age, I hope I will be able to install a lift in my new home - so much nicer than a stair lift.
The team were polite, responsive to our needs. My property was respected and my input was respected. The above comments apply to all of the stff i.e. sales and serviceing teams as well. I honstly cannot think where you could improve. my comments are made from the perspective of a Chartered Surveyor(retired)
Our Through-Lift was initially installed the wrong way round so when the maintenance engineer attempted to carry out the first service he was unable to access the working parts. Consequently the lift had to be reinstalled correctly. It works OK but the remote controllers have to be pressed very precisely and very hard to bring the lift up or down.
Excellent gives good service.
Life would be impossible without the lift. It is so much better than a stair lift. We had an "incident" soon after the lift had been installed. Rapid Response Vehicle, Paramedic's the lot. They were able to take the patient out to the Ambulance in a wheel chair. No problem.
It's great with only one down side in that it's difficult for disabled wife too hold the button all the time during travel.
We have had our Stiltz lift for 10 months now. We don’t need it yet for ourselves but we’re future -proofing our house where living quarters are upstairs. It is very neat and installation was seamless, a day or 2 of building and pipe work, electrics etc then all done. Skilled workmen who left all neat, clean and tidy when the job was done. I would unreservedly recommend Stiltz lifts.
Unfortunately my wife died within 2 months of installation, but the lift was superb during that period. Since that time the lift has hardly been used, but at 91 it may not be very long before I need it on a regular basis! Occasional use to carry heavy loads have been perfect.
I love my lift it makes life so much easier.
excellent lift great team of worker best clean up men ever 😉 would recommend them to anyone
We have found the Stiltz home lift to be very useful. My husband has neuropathy in both feet and finds climbing stairs difficult and stressful; I have broken back and pubic bone due to osteoporosis so also find stairs difficult. The process from ordering to completion was smooth: all the installation team were excellent and everything is fine apart from the interior finish of the lift, where the carpeting on the wall is badly finished in one section. We use the lift daily not only for ourselves but also for laundry, luggage, moving awkward or heavy stuff. And our grandchildren love Lizzie the Lift!!
Next to meeting my wife (65 years ago) buying STILTZ lift probably best thing I have ever done !!!
We have had our Stiltz Homelift for 17 months now and it is impossible to imagine life without it! We are grateful every day that it enables us to get up and downstairs- transport piles of ironing, vacuum cleaners, any heavy goods. etc. We thoroughly recommend it.Thankyou very much. Rita Crossley
Very good professional service. No problem.
Sleek and reliable Means I can stay in my own home as I can get upstairs for the bed and bathroom.
