To understand my review you need to know the history of this job. I booked a Smart Meter installation last year with EDF. The original engineer who attended gave me every excuse as to why the work could not be completed and told me i would have to have cupboards removed and pipe work replaced at my own cost before he could install the units. I was left thinking zi could not install a Smart Meter unless at great cost. This year I decided to try again and perhaps just have the electricity meter installed. The engineer, Raja Maih, was from an EDF sub contractor ‘Providir’. From his initial contact where he confirmed his arrival time, his understanding of the positioning of the units and the best solution, his can do attitude, his good communication and service were excellant. With good customer service lacking in many service industries, this young man’s approach and competence should be recognised as an example of best practice. I hope his company recognise what a gem they have in Raja and EDF should use this sub contractor more.

Pleasant and informative. Worked quickly and neatly after having pre called, rgen turned up on time. Unfortunately unable to connect unit remotely saying connection should happen within 3 months, hopefully much quicker.

I booked to have a smart meter installed. A few days before my appointment I received a message to say my engineer would arrive in the afternoon between 1 and 5. Fifteen minutes before Chiz arrived, he rang to let me know he was on route. He was polite, courteous and offered to take his shoes off. He kept me informed of what he was doing and then explained everything about the smart meter to me. Chiz made me feel very at ease and left every where clean and tidy. He was a great ambassador for Octopus Energy.

Charlie (from inverness) our Engineer, called the evening before to confirm times. Arrived on time. Was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. He talked me through every stage of the process. He checked and double checked all his work fir safety and provided excellent advice on some existing areas that needed attention. He left his work sites tidy. A real credit to your company

Providor kept me informed of timing for the work, which was very helpful. The engineer who did the job (Chiz) was brilliant - he worked around a difficult installation and got the job done very professionally and with no fuss. Several others have turned up in the past and quickly gave up / said they couldn’t do the job. Chiz was friendly, polite and helpful and explained the new set up and the use of the smart meter very well. He also called the network provider to report a fault and set up the fix for me. All in all, he gave super customer service and it was much appreciated! Thank you.

I had a visit from Reece Ramsayfrom Scottish power today to install my smart meter.Reece was very polite and efficient He cleaned up after himself.Reese explained to Me how to read the meter box great service lovely guy
