Jan 07,2023I recently purchased an EMTB from Surge Bikes. After riding for less than 100km, the rear freehub ratchet started binding. I phoned up Surge Bikes, explained the situation and was expecting them to ask me to bring the bike in and they would look at it at some point and I would be able to pick the bike up maybe a week or two later. I was very surprised that they offered for one of their mechanics doing deliveries to come collect the bike within a few hours. Christopher arrived, picked up the bike and indicated that he would be doing the repairs. I was even more surprised when I received an email the following day asking if they could come deliver my bike after having found the problem and fixing it under warranty. Thank you Christopher for your speedy turnaround on this repair and to Surge Bikes for doing a pick up and drop off. Really impressive after sales service!

The loan took weeks to come through (no fault of Surge Bikes) but they kept the bike on hold for me and provided all the necessary paperwork. Once the purchase went through the bike arrived in perfect condition, well packaged, fully charged and ready to go.

Nov 12,2022Excellent service with friendly staff and nothing is to much trouble.My Journey to Bramley was over an hours drive and I was met with a warm welcome,I then tested a few bikes before making the decision to purchase one ,of which the size was not in stock.They located one from their supplier and the delivery was the following week. The day prior to me picking the bike up Micheal gave me a call to inform me of the south road would be closed and I would have to arrive on the northbound road. Today I went for a short ride on my Haibike trekking 4 and the long hill on the way home was no problem and no sweat. The expert advice I was given is much appreciated.

I went to visit Surge bikes at Basingstoke and met up with Mike Flood who managed to advise me on the bike for my needs ,future use ,and most importantly wallet. I checked out a few options and also managed a test ride which was fun and reassuring. The actual sale was managed by Matt Cook and the whole experience has been professional and efficient. I’m loving my new bike and enjoying using it on a regular basis.

Customer service was excellent and they checked everything was right before finalising the order. Delivery was fine (shipped to house) and instructions for receiving and handling bike were very good. Overall extremely pleased. Areas for improvement? A bit more warning of when it might be delivered (the freight company give a 9-5 delivery window and 2 people needed to be at home to move it) as arranging a whole day off work with < 7 days notice tricky.

Oct 15,2022Bought a Merida Espresso bike online from Surge Bikes It was delivered to Aberdeenshire well wrapped and protected and only required fitting of pedals, setting of handlebars and seat height adjusting. Bike was bought at a good price. I would have no hesitation in using Surge again.
