May 02,2022We were looking for two ebikes that could be used both on road and on various grades of cycle path around the country. Matt at Surge recommended trekking bikes which we trialed around the car park at Bramley. Everything was explained and the bikes were delivered promptly. Only ridden 50 miles so far, but very pleased with the bikes and looking forward to many more bike trips in the years to come.

Once it arrived with them, they promptly built and shipped it out to me. It arrived in perfect condition. The process was faultless and the Surge Boost meant we managed to get all the accessories we required within our budget. I would highly recommend Surge Bikes and I would not hesitate in using them again.

Apr 05,2022Purchased a Tern ebike over the internet. Matt was good and responsive, the ordering process although a little different does still allow a personal touch for remote sales. The Surge Boosts are great, even though everything is RRP, you save on the Tern extras you'd need anyway. Ended up with exactly what I wanted and it's a joy doing the school run, library trips, popping to the shops etc.

Mar 22,2022I have just purchased an Orbea Rise e bike from Surge . After much research I decided on this lightweight e mountain bike but needed to try it out before investing . Surge are one of the only outlets that allow you to try the bike first . I found the service was first class . I was allowed to try different frame sizes and the guys were very knowledgeable. Not only this but they delivered the bike to my house and spent time setting it up and explaining the Orbea app to me . Needless to say ,I love my bike and have used it every day since . Mar 11,2022Matt and team did a fantastic job in helping us select our ideal gravel bikes on the phone and referencing the website .. my friend and I chose Orbea Gain bikes, which are a bit hard to find but Matt and team had the right bikes in the right frame size for us. We travelled from South Devon to Bramley to test ride and collect the bikes and were met with great hospitality and lots of friendly advice plus a good deal ! Delighted .. thank you guys !

Mar 10,2022Ordered a Haibike for my wife , delivered quickly and in the best packaging ever seen , that is how you pack and ship a bike , Perfect condition , plus the bonus of 10% in accessories too Unfortunately , slightly too big , contacted Matt@surgebikes , to return , which was not a problem and the whole process was painless. Took the bike back in person and the guys were great , good shop and good selection of bikes , Think I will be getting an Orbea Rise from these guys soon. Recommended !!

From selecting the right model for me through to delivery, setup and aftersales, everything has been top-notch. Plus, the Boost offer made kitting out the bike with all the child-carrying bells and whistles that much easier on the bank account! While not local to me, Matt has been tremendously helpful, both over the phone for my initial enquiries and then via email throughout the whole process. Everything arrived promptly, extremely well-packaged and well-documented, and we're over the moon with our new e-bike. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase an e-bike, locally or no. Once the bike in my size arrived, could test it out against another size to absolutely make sure. Some great advice was given and will definitely be back for any future purchases!

What has really made them stand out to me as a company is their aftersales service. When a problem arose with part of the e-bike system, they were able to fix the bike immediately under warranty and even delivered the bike back to my house. All within two days of discovering the problem. I'd thoroughly recommend purchasing from them.

Feb 03,2022We have just bought a Tern GSD S00 cargo bike from Surge Bikes. From our initial enquiry through to taking delivery and assembling the bike our experience has been absolutely superb. Matt has gone above and beyond the call of duty in offering frank advice, answering questions, and identifying solutions. We received regular updates during the time waiting for the bikes to ship to the UK and the level of communication has been excellent throughout. The bike was delivered with a range of discounted accessories. The process of fitting those accessories and assembling the bike itself was made straightforward by the detail and clarity of the information provided in writing and video. Now the bike has arrived we have spent two weeks enjoying learning everything it does. I cannot speak highly enough of Surge Bikes and their staff: they are an outstanding company, friendly, supportive, and efficient in equal measure.

By luck, I noticed the positive Surge Bike reviews and contacted Matt Cooke who explained everything and gave equally good advice regarding the 'surge' extras. The bike arrived beautifully packaged and in summary, it has been a worry-free buying experience, Highly recommended.

Michael was patient and helpful with my questions whilst trying the bike and giving a full demo to ensure I was confident before taking it home. Highly recommend this Company! And we LOVE our family’s new electric Tern GSD, we haven’t used the car since buying it.
