Sep 07,2020We purchased a couple of Orbea e-bikes from Surge bikes and their service was excellent. The original bike we wanted to order was no longer being made so Matt contacted us to let us know and suggested an alternative which was better then the original bike and turned out to be perfect for us. There was a production delay in the order but Matt kept us informed all the time on progress. On another note the accessories you get, as part of the purchase, are very good. Again Matt provided some guidance on the types of locks as the ones we wanted wouldn't fit my eBike. The service was excellent especially with extra restrictions due to the pandemic. I have no hesitation in recommending Surge Bikes to anyone. Mark

I never felt under any pressure to part with my money. I've had my Merida Espresso 400 for 4 weeks now and I'm delighted with it and with the service that I've received from Surge Bikes.

Very helpful early advice on the best options for my type of riding terrain, through regular communication on the progress of building the machine to free delivery in their own van exactly on time I was most impressed with the enthusiasm and knowledge of the small team. It was almost a pleasure to part with £2,000 to Matt and the team!!

The whole process was very smooth and the delivery to me in Scotland very reasonable. The Surge bonus of extra accessories is excellent and a lovely touch . Jul 11,2020I had never had contact with this shop previously (or Matt who dealt with me). I was having trouble with an ebike chain which was playing up, and needed a further opinion as I was getting the message from my LBS that this was an expected problem. To be honest, I thought I would simply be fobbed off as the bike was not purchased from Surge. To my surprise, Matt asked me to leave the issue with him... and within the space of hours I had contact from the area rep for my bike brand... and furthermore a potential solution to the problem!! If this is how Matt treats a stranger who has not even done any business with him... I can only imagine the quality care his actual customers receive. Thanks again Matt. Top bloke!!
