Apr 09,2024I recently purchased an Orbea Gain M30i bike from Matt at Surge Bikes. His advice and calm professional manner in advising me about the various versions of the bike was exemplary, and it ensured I made the right choice for my needs. His advice regarding the new colour scheme was also spot on! The Red Wine carbon is beautiful. I had to call the service team twice after receipt of the bike, only for advice, as it has Di2 components I had not used before and is also an E-bike, which is new to me. On both occasions, the service team were just as professional and helpful as Matt was in sales. They are very knowledgable and always happy to sit and chat through any concerns, offering decent well thought out advice to their customers. I doubt my wife will allow me to be in the market for another bike for a while (and I'll never part with my Orbea anyway) but if I were ever to be looking to buy another bike, I will only ever use Surge Bikes now. Exemplary team, exemplary service.

Apr 07,2024I had done a lot of research prior to visiting but was given a whole lot of fantastic advice when I visited the store. I was able to try several frames to make sure the size of my orbea e gravel bike was just right. I purchased through my company l cycle to work scheme and they did a great job of keeping me up to date with the progress of my order. On collection day I had a great experience where they took the time to explain the bike and check that the set up was correct. I have ridden the bike several times now and I am a total e-bike convert.

The bike was delivered earlier than expected, came paletted and well protected. So easy to secure the handle bar and pedals following the detailed instructions provided. Battery fully charged and worked first time. Can't recommend them highly enough, extremely good value and service for the price.

After registering on the website with the bike and extras that I hoped to purchase, Surge Bikes came back to me with a series of questions and suggestions that really helped me identify the best package possible for the bike and our needs. The prices were good and we were also pleased to use the Green Initiative through our work to make the purchase. The bike was delivered quickly and the delivery person walked through using the bike and the added extras. It has been an excellent bike and we are so happy with the personalised package we ended up with thanks to the care offered by Surge Bikes.

Mar 12,2024Quality from start to finish. Surge Bikes provided an excellent streamlined process from enquiry through to purchase. Ways to be even better: Provide Bosch Diagnostic Report [regardless of it being the first]. Better awareness of what bike covers fit certain bikes [with accessories] so as to better advise customers. Provide ETA when out for delivery [this was the only thing that was less than 5 stars as the delivery was quite late and no communication was provided to notify us of this]. After sales has been very very good - taking calls, offering advice and promptly booking service. Highly recommend the team at Surge Bikes and looking forward to more great experiences in future.
