May 07,2024I recently had an unfortunate encounter with TaxAudit.com, and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. Upon receiving a notice from the State of Maryland demanding payment with no clear explanation, I turned to TaxAudit, having purchased their protection through TurboTax, in hopes of receiving some guidance and assistance. However, what followed was a saga of frustration and incompetence. Firstly, the response time was abysmal. It took the TaxAudit agent a staggering 5 to 7 business days to get back to me, which is simply unacceptable considering the urgency of tax-related matters. When they finally did respond, their advice was shockingly unhelpful. Rather than offering any meaningful assistance or guidance, I was essentially told to fend for myself – to spend hours on the phone with the State of Maryland, navigating through various departments until stumbling upon the right one, and then attempting to decipher the purpose of the bill on my own. This is not the kind of support one would expect from a service like TaxAudit. To make matters worse, even after enduring this ordeal, TaxAudit failed to provide any tangible help. I was left to fend for myself, having to craft my own letters and emails to the State of Maryland, all while feeling utterly abandoned by the very service I had turned to for assistance. In conclusion, my experience with TaxAudit.com was nothing short of a nightmare. Their service was not only unhelpful but actively detrimental to my efforts to resolve a tax issue. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear and explore alternative options.
