Dec 17,2022Overall we are very pleased with the assistance provided by our TaxAudit representative. The audit process was slow and long, but most of the delays were due to the IRS agent taking a long time to reply at every stage. In the end we were still on the hook for our error, plus the interest. However our TaxAudit representative made sure that the IRS’ errors in calculating the interest were corrected, and the penalties were abated. The only thing I would change is that as soon as we realized the error, we would have made the estimated payments to federal and state sooner. I had to push the TaxAudit rep for how to do that. It was actually easy, and wish we had done it sooner to save on months of additional interest. Lesson learned is that if you’re using TurboTax, it’s definitely possible to be led down a path that results in a large error. Always sign up for TaxAudit assistance, maybe even the professional review option if your situation is complicated.

Dec 15,2022Very condescending and rude person on their tollfree telephone number line. It is quite obvious that they are not reviewing their interactions with customers to hear this horrible call. It felt like I was speaking to the worse employee at the DMV --- someone who was not being held accountable. I think that it was quite obvious that she did not like her job and was bothered by me and any questions. This is the big welcome to TaxAudit?

Dec 13,2022I was getting questioned from the IRS about the self-employment income. Carolina was my agent and she has been helpful since the beginning of this journey. It was a challenging journey for me since this is my first time experiencing this situation. Carolina was also taking consideration of how much time was delayed to respond due to TurboTax assistance with my situation. Months went by and another agent name Keith has to assist which he was also helpful. I am grateful with the result and the professionalism and assistance of Carolina and Keith. I would not have been able to do this alone. Thanks a million!

Dec 06,2022Does not respond to messages. Missed my meeting by about 30 seconds, and will not answer my messages or pick up the phone when I call them back immediately. Apparently if you miss your appointment by one minute they turn off their phone, won't respond to messages or emails. This is after it taking more than one week to talk to someone on the phone at all. Edit: Thanks for the nice message back! I did end up having a very helpful conversation with Michael, after I was able to get him on the phone. Therefore I'm updating my rating to the average of 1 star for customer service and five 5 for expertise in helping me resolve my issue.

Dec 03,2022The primary reason for my rating was the outstanding assistance provided by tax expert Tammie Dudley, she was highly knowledgeable and professional. I also liked the ease of use that the Tax Audit application provided, I had no issues uploading my documents and was able to stay aware of scheduled meetings and the status of my tax issue.

Dec 21,2022This was my first experience using the Audit Defense that I typically purchase when I'm doing my taxes on Turbo Tax. It was great having Chanel Westmoreland running interference for me when the IRS came knocking. She made it clear after her review that I had no back taxes due and that I need not communicate with the IRS, she would do that as my representative. That brought my anxiety level way down. Further, she was helpful in identifying the docs I needed and they set up an easy to use web site where I could post my docs. All I did was provide them to her and she took care of the rest. No fuss no muss. She had also informed me in advance of some of inefficiencies would experience with the IRS while moving this inquiry to its ultimate successful conclusion. This was the best money I've spent as part of my doing my own tax returns via Turbo Tax. It really did take the fear and uncertainty out of the process. Thanks Chanel!!!!
