Recieved a letter from the state for an audit. This audit was pretty simple to fix and needed about 20 min to complete (start to finish). My first contact was with a representative, Suave, who was rude and argumentative when i stated i would not use Turbo tax. Her raised voice and defensive tone was beyond frustrating as she would not listen to my concerns but simply wanted to defend why their product was worth buying. Once case was assigned i was told it would take 3-5 days for a review. Problem here is i had already been in contact with the state, understood what the audit was about and LITERALLY needed to correct an error on only one form. Because I know exactly what and where the error is (which had already been corrected on the federal as state pulls from this information) i explained what the error was. I was then informed, "we need to ensure that this is the only error" problem here is that your tax professional are the ones that overlooked the error to begin with. NEVER will use either company again

Debbie Salvino is an amazing resource. With 20+ years of personal tax filing I've never been audited, and the notice was stressful. The obvious mistakes on the IRS letter only exacerbated the situation. After a few correspondences with Debbie I felt assured that I was in good hands, and we quickly built a relationship of trust. Debbie was great at digging into the issue, explaining what her thoughts and opinions were, presenting potential scenarios, and being my advocate.
