Dec 27,2024I was blown away by the manner in which my particular situation was resolved. I was blindsided by a letter from the IRS stating that I owed hundreds of thousands of dollars for not reporting the sale of my home in a prior year. I knew that this was not correct because I had provided all of the information when I used Turbo Tax to do my taxes. After some research the tax form that was electronically transmitted to the IRS didn't contain the information that I had entered in Turbo Tax. Now I was in panic mode! I have heard horror stories about owing money to IRS. Even though I knew that there was some logical explanation I was stressed beyond words. Not to mention that I was preparing for hip replacement surgery in just a few weeks and could not have this hanging over my head. I called Turbo Tax immediately and explained the situation. The person who took all of my information was kind, patient and reassured me that I had purchased Tax Audit for 2022. She proceeded to tell me exactly what the next steps were and to be expecting a phone call or email within a couple days. She assured me that she would pass on my concerns and that hopefully I would be contacted sooner rather than later. Well I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from my tax professional within 48 hours. Followed by an email to create an account on their portal so that messages and documents could be shared in a secure manner. Kali was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate. After explaining to her my ordeal, she put my mind at ease and said there was some sort of glitch in the transmission of information to the IRS. She said this would be easily rectified. She asked my to provide several documents about the sale of my home. Once received she did her work to confirm that I absolutely did not owe ANY money to the IRS. She asked me to also upload any communications from the IRS. She indicated that she would be contacting the IRS with revised numbers but this process could take at least 30 days. She said that I would receive a letter from the IRS stating the case was closed and I owed nothing. This was on October 30, 2024. I contacted Kali in early December after I had not received anything from the IRS. She said she would be contacting the IRS to get a status but that it could take a couple days to get a response. I received a message from Kali a few days later stating that the IRS would be sending a letter informing me that the case was closed and nothing is owed. On December 19 I received that letter and immediately uploaded a copy to Kali. Kali replied to my message stating the case was resolved and would be closed. She also stated that I could contact her if ever I had any questions or concerns about this particular case. I am so happy that I elected to purchase the Tax Audit in 2022! I felt like I had my own team of defense who took over the handling of this case and resolved it with efficiency, expertise, and the very best outcome I could have hoped for. I will be a customer for life and will always purchase the additional service for my peace of mind.

Dec 26,2024Horrible company!!!! A year they been helping me with an audit from NY department of taxation, telling be don’t worry don’t pay the bill till we get an answer from them. Consistently telling me wait 90-120 days during this time I’m getting hit with late fees. The caseworker assigned to my situation was telling me don’t worry about it. Sending them information after information proving I shouldn’t have to pay the audit fee. I get a email from taxaudit.com basically telling me to just pay the bill, I’m in collections now and I have to pay late fees. It’s like the agent at taxorder.com was never in contact with the NY department of taxation. I will never us turbo tax again nor taxaudit.com!!
