Aug 27,2024I hired TDN to help with my IRS tax debt, hoping they could at least reduce the interest payments. Unfortunately, they were unable to do so. I'm particularly disappointed because during our initial phone conversation, they gave me false hope. All they did was file paperwork and set up an installment plan, which I could have done on my own. The service was not worth the money, and I would not recommend TDN to anyone.

Jul 04,2024I spent 10k with this organization. I had over 35k in tax debt. All they did was tell me that I was ineligble for any tax relief programs. Initially I was promised relief by them. They sucked me in, did basic accounting on my taxes and then did NOTHING. I paid them $10,000.00 for NOTHING! I have since contacted another reliable agency who guarantee's my enrollment into the programs.

May 01,2024When you call, you speak with a sales associate who makes some big promises that aren’t necessarily delivered. If I just downloaded the payment installment form from the IRS, I could have saved 4k, because they did not save me the money promised. I was told by sales that it would even out and I would save about 4k to even out. They make these promises without looking at your case. Once you retain them, the accountant is much more realistic. I wasted 4k that could have gone towards my IRS debt.

Apr 24,2024Feel free to reach out to Tax Defense Network. They requested I call them back regarding my parents and their "unpaid taxes." When I asked what data they had on unpaid taxes they hung up immediately. When I let them know the vm message they said there was nothing they could do about it and refused to escalate to a supervisor. They finally transferred me to P who asked if I had nothing better to do with life to which I responded nothin g better than protecting vulnerable seniors. I complimented both P and S at having great communications skills and asked if there was a way for them to support their families while not taking advantage of mine. To this inquiry I received laughing. So sad to take advantage of people this way. I have empathy to a point but not about my parents. And to clarify, we all work with a long term accountant so there would be nothing not paid. Just a scam to scare them.

Aug 28,2024Incompetent! A total sham. The worst experience ever. Tax Defense assured me they could help my tax situation for $9100.00. After four months of chasing my representative and several escalations, I was told I did not owe the IRS and my case was closed. I was notified by the IRS a week later that I did in fact owe them significant money. When I went back to my contact at Tax Defense she acknowledged that she was incorrect in the information she provided me but since my case was closed she couldn't do anything to help me. I have escalated several times and have received no response. Consequently, I am now paying a tax attorney to help me. I lost valuable time in my appeal process with the IRS due to Tax Defense's incompetence which will ultimately cost me more money.
