I would recommend the delivery and unpacking service. Does exactly what it says on the can and for just a little under £10. Transported to its destination unpacked, installed and all of the rubbish removed for recycle. All in 10 mins or so. The delivery driver LEIGH was friendly and careful.
Arrived in excellent condition on a Saturday, extremely good value for money & really lovely cooker.
I ordered a non standard wooden surround, fire and hearth. They were very quick to take my deposit but failed to tell me that the hearth was on 4 weeks order, I knew that the non standard item was on 2 weeks delivery. The office staff failed to place the orders until nearly 2 weeks after I paid the deposit and then told me I would get the whole thing fitted within 8 weeks. I was ready to cancel the order before they actually found some customer service and so it was fitted just over 4 weeks after ordering. The sub contract fitting service was excellent, otherwise they wouldn't even rate one star.
Just received my delivery of the washing machine, as committed. Had a text confirming the delivery time last night. Courteous staff on the sales team - I had placed the order online, however, as the payment was through Amazon, had some delays in getting the order and delivery confirmation. However, the staff on the sales helpline could clarify all my concerns. The customer service lines where unreachable though! Great washing machine and great price! Recovery service was also used.
Great online experience. I found The Gas Superstore on a Google search. They were offering a very competitive price and free delivery on a Saturday which other companies were charging extra for. I received a text with a time for delivery and a pleasant driver called me 50 mins before to say he was on his way. He took my new fridge into my kitchen and took away all the packaging. I'm glad I gave The Gas Superstore a chance as it's nice to support a smaller company and I would defiantly recommend to others.
Item didnt arrive. Phoned next day and had apology and it will arrive Sat and will receive txt with time slot at 7am. No txt so in the light of what happened on the Thurs phoned to find out when it was coming . Told it's not even in stock. Guy on phone not helpful and knew nothing. Clearly the item wasn't going to come at all. Asked for cancellation and money back. In the light of reviews seen I'm surprised they're not all like mine. Never had such couldn't care less attitude ever by the call takers and the service. Just hoping the repayment goes back ok.
The Gas Superstore made buying our oven very easy. Just one telephone call and the oven arrived on time within a couple of days. Faultless.

1 star is generous. Firstly i saw the aga at £649, i was told to leave it over the wknd whilst a better deal was sorted.(i paid £789) i was then promised it within 3 days as i needed the installation complete, I received today on day 15. I have made numerous calls to sales who promise to get staraight back to me.( I received 1)and finally not all the bits have been delivered. And still no call back with explanations. The delivery men were also rude to my girlfriend. Bad bad service!! My advice is pay a little more and get a service you deserve Thanks lee

Exactly the model that I wanted, at a price that beat everywhere else and with free delivery on the day that I got to choose. Excellent communication (text message the day before with my 3 hour delivery 'window') and a call 15 minutes before the van actually turned up. Phil the delivery man was cheerful and friendly (even at a God awful hour on a rainy Saturday morning). All in all, I couldn't ask for better service
We had ordered a cooker hood that cost almost £300 as part of our complete kitchen refit. It was ordered a number of weeks before work started to ensure we had everything ready and on its receipt we gave it a quick once over to ensure it appeared to be in a good condition. It then sat in a closed off room undisturbed for a couple of weeks waiting to be fitted. Our kitchen fitter then went to instal it only to find the motor was not fixed to the chassis and the brackets had broken off and were missing and the filters were dented. Admitidly we had not looked that closely when we received it as there were no signs of damage to the unit itself or the box so had just checked it externally. We called the post sales line and after it was left ringing for well over an hour we were eventually told they would contact the manufacturer and we would hear back either later that day or first thing the next morning. We heard nothing. Again after several attempts at calling and the phone being left unanswered for at least thirty minutes, we were eventually told we had to call the manufacturer ourselves to sort it out, annoying but if we had been told this from the start we could have rectified the problem a lot sooner and not wasted hours trying to get through to them and had to pay our fitter extra to comeback and fit it once it was sorted leaving us out of pocket. Would not risk buying from again.

Website shows item in stock and then already booked the item for delivery but just in the website in reality the things are really opposite. no item delivered on that date and no update why . After contacting them i got to know that item is out of stock and wait for 2 more weeks to deliver. Thats RIDICULOUS service.

Overall excellent customer service from Scott. Explained in detail all queries and reservations. Cannot say the same for the web site which needs work. Would not take payment from American Express (problem on website) also showed item to be in stock ready for delivery, but this was not the case. Also showed 3 years parts and labour warranty, but when you went through to checkout. It tried to sell an extended warranty of 3 years.
Great experience from start to finish, informed of delivery in advance, text on the morning giving 3 hour window, really helpful delivery driver! 10 out of 10, well done guys!
This is the most useless company I have ever had the displeasure to come across. No communication at all. Called to find out when they were delivering at 11am on 10th Aug, after making payment on the 8th. Was told driver was delivering that day but was stuck in traffic and would be there before 8pm but more than likely a lot earlier. I had builders ho had to wait for them and they never turned up. Emailed next day no reply, called and was told attempted delivery was made at 9.10am (really after being told at 11am the previous day they were on their way and we had builders at the house). Given a logistics number (pull the other one) constantly engaged. Like I said be warned. forget what the price is you do not need the grief pay an extra £10 and use a proper company. I only went for them as they showed it on stock
I ordered a American style Samsung Fridge freezer via their website but before I did I needed some clarity of the product and also delivery, so I called the customer service team. They were very professional and answered my questions as best they could. Delivery was a worry as the item was big and and our entries were quite tight. The company had accounted for this and added an additional person to the delivery team, they phoned 15 mins before arriving. The delivery guys came and assessed the situation and professionally delivered the fridge freezer not only protecting the fridge but making sure they didn't damage anything in my home. Really excellent service from a good local family run business, would not hesitate in recommending to anyone.

Sep 03,2016Thought the trustpiolet reviews seemed ok but having had a closer look it's because the company has reported so many as breech of terms so they are blanked out! Ordered fridge freezer, called customer services day before deliver date (1.5 weeks after ordering), rung out for 15 minutes. Called sales and was picked up after 10 minutes 'ahh we were expecting the delivery today but it's not here yet, I'll get customer services to call you back'. 'Sorry your item isn't in stock and won't be for 2.5 weeks'. Was offered low quality alternative. If I hadn't called would they have called to let me know? Doubt it! How can they sell things they don't have in stock when it's advertised as in stock on their website? Having already disconnected my fridge freezer ready for collection I was furious with the company. Demanded full refund which luckily arrived within 1hr through PayPal, wonder if it's because I threatened them with Ofcom? Not sure how to go about a full complaint but I'm really concerned that this company is a scam. Please STAY AWAY!!!
