Placed an order on Monday, advised it will be delivered on Wedensday and still no order. They do not answer the phone it just rings out- I may have to report this to my card company as it may be FRAUD

Bought a dishwasher with them specifically as I was offered a delivery within 5 days. Called the sales team (customer services never seems to go through) and requested the old model to be removed at the same time and confirmed the delivery date - all good. Delivery day came and went without any communication whatsoever, and more importantly no delivery. Called first thing next day to check. Call 1: "this is really unusual, will ask customer service to check and call back". Waited two hours, nothing, called again. Call 2: "I can see this model isn't in stock for at least another 2 weeks. The date in your order is just for guidance, doesn't mean you'll actually get your product". Blew my top, mentioned that if the customer wasn't home to receive the goods they charge £49, so want the same amount for spending an entire day awaiting a delivery that wasn't even scheduled for that day and was never mentioned as such. Plus wanted confirmation as to when I'd get my dishwasher. Was told this was being escalated to a "manager". Waited 2 more hours. NOTHING. Call 3: Asked if the "manager" was aware and when he'd call me back. Waited another hour. STILL NOTHING. Call 4: Asked for my money back, obviously this is not a serious organisation and one would be mad to remain engaged to such an appalling company. Was promised an immediate refund with the funds back in my card (PayPal transaction) within 2 hours. STILL NOTHING. Take my advice, DONT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THE GAS SUPERSTORE. EVER! Wish me luck, my faith in them is so shaken I'm looking at the small claims courts already. Found several other customers with problems, now that I'm looking more closely as well.

Shocking customer service!!! Never answers the phone, been calling out for over 15minutes and decided to give up!! I emailed them regarding my order and still NO reply. I think they need to concentrate on the customer service, as i wont be using this company again nor recommend them.

I ordered directly from the showroom and received really good advice with regards to the products I ordered. (Dishwasher, oven, hob and cooker hood) Although one of the items had stock availability issues from the manufacture, Gas Showroom helped me get a suitable alternative. The delivery and installation service couldn't be better, I couldn't find any other retailer that was able to offer the cooker hood instillation and the overall cost was very reasonable in comparison with other retailers. Special mention to Callum and Chris who are a credit to the company. Will definitely be a returning customer for the American fridge freezer I have my eye on!

I placed a telephone order for a washing machine with the sales office. I asked if my old washing machine could be collected from the kitchen if disconnected or did it need to be taken outside. I was told it could be collected from the kitchen. Delivery was scheduled for Friday 29th July between 7.00am and 7.00pm. I was told that I would receive a text around 7pm the evening before giving a 3 hour window and I would be contacted by the driver about half an hour before delivery. No text on the Thursday, so very early the following morning I advised my tenant that delivery was unlikely. Around 9.00am I phoned the company and was told that my washing machine was out for delivery (11th drop of 14) and would probably arrive between 12.00 and 1.00pm. He was mildly surprised that I had not received a text but said this was probably a "system problem" which does sometimes happen. I was assured that the driver would contact me around half an hour before delivery. I contacted the tenant again with the new arrangements and said that I would call by. I arrived at 12.15pm though had not yet heard from the driver. At 1.50pm I had still heard nothing when the delivery lorry arrived. I told the driver that I had received no text the night before and no call from him. The shrug of his shoulders said it all. When I checked that he would be collecting the old machine he (very politely) told me that it should be outside the property but that was not a big problem and he would take it nonetheless. I told him about my conversation when placing the order; he showed me his written instruction which clearly stated that old appliances should be collected from outside the property. Hence my title "Total Lack of Communication". So why have I given 2 stars and not 1? Because, to end on a positive note, the price was competitive, delivery was on the correct day, the company was easily contactable by phone and everyone I spoke to was helpful and polite. Also, I like the idea of a relatively small family owned company competing with the large retailers. Hopefully, management will use this review as the basis for improvement.

Very pleasant and easy people to do business with. Polite and helpful on the phone, fast and prompt delivery with driver ensuring the oven was placed where I needed it. Highly recommended and would buy from them again.

Purchased a washing machine online. Paid for immediately and picked my delivery day for the following week. The day before delivery, I recieved a phone call stating the washing machine I had purchased was in fact out of stock and it would be a further 2 weeks before they could get stock. I told them this was un acceptable. They then offered a lower spec machine for the same price! Again, I told them this was unacceptable. Finally, they agreed to cancel the order and refund my money with 3 days. 3 working days pass and nothing. Then 4. Then 5. I call on the 6th day to see where my money is to be told it hasn't been refunded as yet and will be a further 3 days minimum!!! So, at time of writing, I haven't my money and my complaint emails have been ignored. I would never use this company again. The customer service was extremely poor and failed to take my complaints seriously. Avoid, avoid , avoid!!!!!

We ordered a Liebherr fridge from the Gas superstore and received excellent service, they were not the cheapest on price but I felt reassured by the fact it is a family business and has retail premises, not just a warehouse. It was also reassuring to know they deliver the items and do not use a courier therefore the items will be delivered undamaged. The delivery man Pete Gray was most helpful and very cheerful. Will definitely use this company again.

Well this is a first - never had non delivery of an item before. Hope it's the last. On the day of delivery no text received to advise of delivery time. As I was told the text would be sent in the morning, at 12pm I tried contacting Gas Superstore. After an hour of trying to call eventually spoke to someone (not customer service). Seems by product was not in stock. I was told I was called a couple of days earlier to be offered another model. As I had no voice message nor missed call this was a lie. I did not want an alternative - I'd ordered that model at the start not the model I was waiting delivery of. I demanded the order was cancelled and asked for my money back - I had no faith this would happen as told "I'll email the customer service department now". I asked to be cc'd in email which was promised. You’ve already guessed - this did not happen. I got my refund quickly and was seriously considering compo for having to take a day for the expected delivery. That was only decent thing about the whole process – but it may have been as I raised a dispute via Paypal, my method of payment. Totally unacceptable service and to be avoided at all costs.

Ordered a microwave on Sunday got a phone call Monday night saying the one I ordered was discontinued offered one closer to what I wanted and cheaper. it was delivered this morning by Phil the driver, had a phone call to say what time he would be there and her was could not be more helpful spot on gas superstoreth gardiner

I used the reviews and thought surely it'll be okay. But nope. I ordered a fridge freezer (not delivered yet) it was scheduled for a Saturday I called up after ordering to say if it could be changed to Friday or Tuesday. They changed it to Friday and on Friday I didn't receive a text with the delivery slot. Called them up and they said they can see the notes to change the delivery but hadn't changed it. Then they changed it to Tuesday. It's Tuesday today. Last night I got a text saying delivery is between 230 and 530 and guess what? No one had come. So I called up and they said "oh your slot is now 4 to 730" and I was like you could have texted me rather than me sit at home (in a newly built home with no fridge to have food in!) Ive been waiting for a fridge on 2 seperate days and still no sign. But whatever Im still waiting in. It's now 7.00 and no sign. I've tried every number their delivery office isn't picking up and sales closed at 5 so I'm just a sitting duck! I know I can edit this review so if you don't hear from me they haven't delivered and it's been an awful journey. Never ever will I use them again and if you have a choice- don't.

Came across this company for the first time, spoke to a charming, informed and helpful lady on the phone, sorted my needs and order in a few minutes. The price was the best I had found for this dishwasher, and the delivery came as promised the next day. I was text with a time slot, then the driver Chalky called about an hour before, and delivered the goods right into my kitchen. What great service, and just like their strap-line, "local service delivered nationally" I won't be looking anywhere else in the future for white goods!!!

I ordered my condenser dryer as it was the best price anywhere I could find (£70 cheaper than currys!) i ordered it and arranged delivery for a weeks time on the Saturday. After ordering I read the reviews on this page and was very worried due to the amount of negative reviews and panicked all week. I would just like to say I had nothing but perfection with this order - no trouble at all. Jo the delivery driver is fab and a great asset to your company. Thank you! I will definitely use you for anything I need in the future

Worst company ever Very Good at taking your money, not very good a delivering on promises Ordered a fridge freezer on the 24th June for a delivery on the 8th July On the 7th July at 4pm i am being told that it cannot be delivered and that it will be another week at least until they can deliver No Apology no solution provided by the company Customer service never picks up the phone but the sales department always does....... On the 15th July they now tell me that item wont be ready for delivery until August Cant get hold of them to cancel, they are just a big joke Avoid like the plague

On 16/06/2016 I ordered on line from The Gas Superstore a Blomberg tumble drier. They quoted me delivery for 25/06/2016. As we had a lot of damp washing and more rain forecasted, decided to to phone the shop to see if there was one drier in stock for an earlier delivery. Let the phone ring for 15 minutes before someone answers. There wasn’t one in stock be they promised to chase the order and ring me back. They didn’t. On 20/06/2016 I received this email “Hello, your order has arrived and is ready for delivery, please call 01530838748 to arrange delivery. If you have already received your order, please disregard this message. Kind regards, The Gas Superstore” A bit confusing, so they got the goods but they don’t know if they have already dispatch them??? Well they haven’t!! Ring that number for 10 minutes, no reply. Try a bit later, engaged. And again and again, still engaged, permanently engaged… I ring the shop, wait 15 minutes. Explain. Assistant goes away to find out. Comes back 10 minutes later. No can do. Delivery on the 25th. Thanks for nothing!! On the 25th at 8 am van arrives unannounced with delivery. There was no 3 hour warning. There was not phone call one hour prior to delivery and the men refused point blank to unpack the machine, although all of this is promised as company policy. The Gas Superstore, never again.

I ordered a Panasonic microwave (NN-CF778SBPQ) from them on Sunday and they delivered it free of charge on the Tuesday - I'm very pleased with the microwave, the price, their customer service, and of course the free delivery. Excellent ! All the best, James

After emailing their customer service dept to ask why I had received no confirmation of dispatch or courier details, I received a phone call. The polite gentleman stated that they have only just found out they have no stock of the Dyson v6 I ordered a week earlier, and was expecting to be delivered tomorrow. I now have to wait another week. Never used this company and only did as they stated delivery within 7 days. Wouldn't use them again as they don't even inform you in reasonable time frame, that they don't even have the item that they sold me.

Please read this to the end! I was looking for an electric fireplace of a particular brand and model and the price at Gas Superstore was £390 compared to the nearest cheapest supplier asking £449 and numerous others wanting in the region of £500. That worried me as the price was too good to be true and I never bought anything from this company. I then called a few suppliers and understood that everyone was delivering direct from the manufacturer and no one had these in their own stock. So after reading mixed reviews, with many latest ones advising to steer clear from this company, I decided to go elsewhere. I ordered the fireplace from the second cheapest supplier, particularly as they promised next day delivery (it was important for me to get the fireplace quickly). The other supplier charged me for the next day delivery and for paying by credit card, but failed to deliver (yes, I did leave them a poor review). I had to cancel the order with that company and then I decided to give this company a try. Read on... I placed the order online and, still worried about not getting the goods, in time or at all, and then waiting forever for a refund (as so many other reviewers said was their experience) I paid via Amazon Pay. While paying it gave me an option to have the item delivered within 2 days, on a Saturday. I ticked the option fully expecting this to be impossible given my enquiries and experience with other suppliers. So I decided to call the company and check. I called the customer service line (the one so many reviewers said is never answered) and it did take me 2 or 3 tries, but then I got through. The guy who answered told me that they did have the fireplace in their own stock, they received it only a few days ago. I thought he was not truthful with me, given that everyone else supplying these told me they delivered these direct from manufacturer, and manufacturer quotes 7-10 days for delivery. So I told the guy that I have read all those poor reviews about the company and I was recording the conversation. I asked him again to check and confirm to me they had these in stock. He proceeded to stating on record his name and confirming what he said before. I also mentioned that I did not receive an order confirmation and he sent me an email with the duplicate invoice confirming my order. Thank you Adam! Even after that I did not believe I would get it in 2 days, but I decided to wait till Saturday and see. Next day (Friday) I received a text message from the delivery company confirming delivery and providing a 3-hour time slot. This was a very pleasant surprise! Particularly given the fact that so many reviews I read singled out poor communication on delivery. Next day, a delivery guy called me saying he was 40 minutes away. He arrived 45 minutes later - there were 3 guys in the truck, not just 2. They unloaded the fireplace (which was not too heavy - about 40kg) and I asked them to wait until I check it as I was still worried I am getting some refurbished item or a reject (given the price), so I did not want to accept delivery if there was something wrong with it as the returns are expensive. But the fireplace was brand new and in perfect condition. So, in summary, perfectly executed order, all as promised and all for the price cheaper than the nearest competitor by a mile and with no hidden charges. Ordered on Thursday - delivered on Saturday where no one else could. Kept me updated throughout the whole delivery process - no problems whatsoever. I should not have worried so much! Thank you!
