An absolutely 100% awful and dreadful experience. Ordered 26th June, as the website advised the product was "available" with delivery possible 5 days later. They called me the day before this scheduled delivery to postpone - then telling me they had no stock and assured me they would keep in regular contact to advise re: delivery. No further communication from them. I sent multiple emails - no reply. I rang and rang - no reply, or got told somebody would ring me back with an update (they didn't). I asked for a refund - no reply. I'll still waiting for my goods. This company gave me the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would never, ever deal with this company again. I am very, very disappointed in them.
I ordered a Siemens built in Microwave on Saturday afternoon and the unit was delivered at 7.30 a.m. on the following Monday. The order was placed over the phone and was dealt with very courteously and efficiently. I was kept informed of the delivery date/time by text and phone and this was greatly appreciated. The item was delivered by 'Chalky' who was also very courteous and helpful. The service has been excellent and would recommend The Gas Superstore as a 'Quality' company; well done. Harry
I've now been dealing with the GSS for around 3 years due to picking the wrong built in micro oven. The GSS have had to arrange a replacement for the third time now (no fault of their own, manufacturing fault) and they have been as superb as ever. Great customer service and a name that you can trust. A big thank you to Alison for a superb service. Will recommend without reservation.

everything about buying my new range cooker was ok I had the delivery changed once because they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, I was told I would need to have a 2man delivery if there was nobody to assist driver when he arrived so I paid extra for a 2 man delivery when it arrived there was only one man on the van and he was unable to manhandle it through my door so it was left on my drive for me to sort out and as it was a Saturday evening I was unable to get anyone to help until the next day so it stayed outside in the rain all night with my car blocking it in so nobody could try to steal it. you could not fault the driver he did all he could to get it into the house it was the logistics department that where at fault for not doing what they had been paid to do
Ordered late on yesterday afternoon and my new dryer was delivered by 9am the following day. Great communication by email and direct from the driver ensuring an efficient delivery and great service. Item was lowest price I could find so even better. The driver Phil is a friendly and helpful chap who is a great ambassador for your company. The Walsh family X
After reading all the reviews on here I was a little hesitant to order but going by all the 5 star reviews I decided to go ahead and order a brand new washing machine and microwave... just to note I made sure that I selected items that said "In Stock" and not just available. I then had to call customer services as we needed to change some details and i'm pleased to say that I was dealt with in a very professional and courteous way by a very well spoken young man who I gather had just started there but did his best to assist me. I was extremely happy when my items got delivered the very next day plus the delivery guy was helpful too and went out of his way for me and cleaned up after delivery and installation. Altogether a brilliant service in every aspect and I won't hesitate to use this company again in the future. Well done The Gas Superstore

I asked for a refund - no reply. I was on the verge of contacting Citizen's Advice about retrieving my money when an email arrived advising the stock was ready for delivery. They finally delivered on 11th June. [The delivery driver at least was very pleasant and helpful.] This company gave me the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No subsequent apology for the delay or the absence of communication. I would never, ever deal with this company again. I would advise you make sure you check in person if they have stock before you order anything. I am very, very disappointed in them.
Purchased a LEC fridge freezer which arrived very damaged, very difficult almost impossible to get hold of customer service, sales just don't want to know and ended up with the damaged goods in our kitchen and way for 3 weeks until they got a replacement sorted and after being told it was coming every Wed and Sat for the whole 3 weeks. Eventually after blowing my top at sales I got someone who managed to sort it out and tell me the truth, it was then delivered by one of the most helpful and nice drivers i have ever met, hence 2 stars, 1 for the person who eventually sorted it and 1 for the driver, none for the company itself.
I bought a cooker hood with them. It arrived on time. Unfortunately no more good news. When my electrician came to install it we noticed that half of the parts is missing. Looks like someone bought it before and returned it after taking bits and pieces from the box or simply forgot to put them back in. The same box was delivered to me without anybody in the Gas Store checking it. I reported it on Saturday and been told that someone will ring me on Monday to sort this problem out. Nobody did - for the entire week! I rang back next Saturday and been told the same thing - someone will ring you on Monday. They didn't. I rang them and been given different number for customer service. I tried for over 30 minutes. No one answered. I rang back to the main number to hear the usual "someone will ring you". Yes, you're right - nobody did. Tried again before they closed. He could not help, "no access to the system". I asked where to ring to get help. Same answer. A V O I D !!!!

Ordered yesterday afternoon, product with me by lunch time. Had a call from the driver to tell me what time she would arrive and she was spot on. Jo, was very polite and helpful. Thank you.
The delivery was made by Jo. She was professional and proficient in her job. She called me during the time slot allocated, to let me know that there would be a delay due to unforeseen events beyond her control and gave an idea when it would be and also said she would call again 30 mins prior to delivery time; which she did. Despite my call being the last of the day she was really friendly, polite and apologised for the delay. I am disabled and she took my needs into consideration and could not be more helpful. Unfortunately on Jo's paperwork it did not state that my old appliance was to be taken away; but Jo was great and said it would not be a problem and also I had paid to have the doors reversed and this had not happened so I was left with something I cannot use until the company rectifies this. Again Jo was very apologetic although this was not her fault; she assured me she would contact the company the next day to get this resolved, which she has done. The resolution is still ongoing. Jo is a true credit to her company.
I wish I had reviewed this company before I made a purchase. Big mistake. I opened an account by giving them my billing address and my delivery address which are different addresses and miles from each other. I ordered a Hotpoint cooker hood. The item was sent to my billing address. I tried for two days to advise of this mistake but no one answered the telephone. I gave up trying to contact them and had the item sent to me at a further cost of £15. On opening the item I was most disappointed. It had black grease stains on it and one of the locks that hold the filter tray on was broken. This company is not fit to sell on line.
Originally ordered the fridge/freezer online and selected Thursday as the delivery date. Phoned the store to check the date, they said the product was not in stock, so replaced with an updated model for the same price and changed delivery to Saturday. The appliance arrived on Saturday at the time specified and was delivered by two helpful and polite guys. Very happy with my fridge/freezer for the price I paid. I recommend that if you are ordering online, you follow up with a phone call to check your order.
Purchased both Zanussi washing machine and tumble dryer. Very quick to take your money on items that they do not have in stock. They will give you a delivery date and then it will be cancelled at the last minute due to them not having the item. Then there is the nightmare of trying to get your money back.... Its not all bad though - I was sent an alternative product (which I had to pay extra for) and my items were delivered the following day by the most amazing delivery driver I have ever met. He was pleasant and really helpful. He is a credit to The Gas Superstore but they definetly do not deserve him as an employee. Never again.
Ordered a large Liebherr fridge freezer on Monday and it was delivered and installed by Saturday. Great customer services team to guide us through the purchase, Sat delivery slot at no extra charge, Dan Woolley the driver offloaded, unpacked and installed with a smile. He also took all the packaging and the old fridge away. Would highly recommend Gas Superstore if you're looking for a good price from a professional, efficient company.
Quite honestly the worst retailer I've dealt with in 15 years of online transactions- Very poor service, non delivery of item and withholding my refund almost one month after resquesting it. I ordered a dishwaster on a weekend day to be delivered on the following Tuesday (paying for a two person delivery to go up stairs) - Tuesday came and no goods. On Wednesday I called and GSS said, 'oh sorry it only came to us on Tuesday'. Ok no big deal, as it was quick delivery I though I could have it in a day or two. The staff member informed me that because I live outside the Leicester area I would have to wait another week. I reluctantly agreed to this. On the new date of the delivery I got a text saying they could deliver in a three hour time slot. The driver was 20 minutes beyond this time and to add insult he only arrived by himself. He states that the other guy was off sick. My wife was at home with our two children at the time and no one else could help - the driver drove all the way back from South Wales to Liecester with our product! My wife called GSS that day to complain. The person who picked up the phone was stuffing her face with a lunch whilst talking and hardly appologised at all. She stated she wanted to cancel the order and that we want a refund. In the proceeding month I have made more than 3 requests for a refund. At no time would the customer services staff put me through to any senior staff or the finance department. I am left out of pocket, calling the GSS phone number (waiting at least 15 minutes each time to get through), and without a dishwasher. My next port of call with this company is legal action.
Do not deal with this company not even worth 1 star absolute rubbish, ordered 2 weeks prior, 2 days before delivery they phoned to tell my wife that item could not be delivered because item was discontinued, rubbish, found item else where, and then proceeded to be rude to my wife. ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH
