I bought a fireplace suite - it was broken during delivery. The replacement was promised in 2 weeks time. I could not wait this long and asked for refund - no response whatsoever - if you try to call this company you will be put on hold for an hour and then the call disconnects... No response was received to my numerous emails. I am thinking to go to small claims court to get my money back.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering my dishwasher. I ordered it over a month ago and still haven't received it. As with other complaints I've tried 3 customer services numbers, all constantly engaged, they haven't replied to my emails either. I'm about to contact my credit card company to report them. DO NOT buy anything from this company. AVOID AVOID.

Ordered Beko Tumble dryer for a specific delivery date well in advance. Staff phoned me and left a voicemail last minute the day before.. don't have the stock (no reason) so sending me alternative... tried phoning back but they never respond to emails nor answer the phone (stuck in call queue for ages... if you play the lottery throughout the day then you eventually get through) Didn't want the alternative so eventually got through to cancel the order. Ordered through AO.COM instead which is what I should have done in the first place! I recommend that they: 1/ Have a YOUR ACCOUNT section on website to manage order like everyone else (i.e. avoid phone queue!) 2/ Respond to emails 3/ Don't accept an order and payment and then decide Beko doesn't make that model any more 4/ Don't leave it until the last minute 10 minutes before you close to disappoint your customers 5/ Have enough agents to answer the phone... if you do 1 and 2 properly then you will have less calls!

This company is without doubt a scam. They will take your online order then you will not hear anything back for months. Their customer service number does not answer. Their 'telephone sales' team are rude, ignorant and want nothing to do with you. Ordered a Bosch fridge freezer in September. Was told by email it wasn't available and did I want the alternative. I said yes then all went quiet. A month later I rang sales and said could I order the Bosch Fridge Freezer I had been offered as an alternative. No. It's not available. Can't get them. OK I said can I get the other model (that I had been told wasn't available). Yes. Can get it in 7 days. So why, I asked, did online sales say I couldn't have this model but I could have the other model. 'Well I don't know, I am in sales. They use a different system'. What I said, How can online sales use a different system ? Do you have completely different offices and computer system? I don't know you'll have to speak to customer services. I could stay on the phone to you all day mate but the answer would be the same. I am in sales. You have to speak to customer services. So no nearer to knowing what is going on. Money has been taken. Looks like they have done a runner with the money and no goods. STAY WELL AWAY. DO NOT BE TEMPTED. GO ELSEWHERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED......

I ordered two washer dryer but only one was delivered. No further contact afterwards. I called the sales team and was told the customer service team would get back to me. Wait for two days, no calls and no emails. I tried to call the customer service team several times afterwards. Their telephone line was so busy. Hold 30 minutes and I can't get through.

Ordered a Samsung tumble dryer August bank holiday weekend with a 10% discount. Delivery date of 9 Sep arrived I called them and the item was not out for delivery - promised call back nothing! I called later that day to be told item out of stock would be in next week, this went on for the next 6 weeks! I had to chase each time and noted they kept changing the availability on their website by a few days each time I checked, all the while other reputable high street stores offering next day delivery, not worth saving the money but ultimately the item has arrived and appears to be exactly what I wanted just don't order something you need quickly I guess! Oh and last thing! They haven't verified my cash back through topcashback so I've had to log a claim with them! Just an update as of 28 October the cash back is not showing

I ordered my cooker hood and it was delivered very quickly. The Gas Superstore website showed a complete hood, which is what I expected to receive. However, upon opening the box I found the front handle strip was missing. After trying several times to get through to customer service on the phone, I eventually emailed them. Only to be told that I had to purchase the front of the hood myself from Neff. Nowhere on the stores website did it say the item would be incomplete. So I have no alternative but to buy the front from Neff at a cost of £43.99.

Wish I had read the other reviews before placing an order. SELLING AN ITEM THAT DID NOT EXIST. Ordered a Smeg oven, guaranteed a delivery date, nothing happened, same next day. Just kept getting fobbed off . Telephones rang and rang out. Promises promises no delivery, item had been discontinued by Smeg even though it still for sale. Huge massive battle to get them to refund, threatened legal action. Be wise read these reviews there are plenty of honest, good reliable companies out there, these are not one of them. BE WARNED We have not exaggerated our experience it was the worst EVER.

Ordered a range cooker 4 weeks prior to delivery date, date came and went so I called their customer services who were unapologetic, dis-interested and lacked professionalism throughout not returning promised calls etc. Eventually I get told that the cooker is not expected for another 17 days. I asked to talk to a manager and I was promised they would call back but yep nothing so I try to get through again to customer services and 6 calls average of 10-15 mins per call then line goes dead, hopeless I can't even cancel the order so I might have to cancel the cc transaction as the only way.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good prices. I bought a Rangemaster stove that wasn't in stock so had to be pre-ordered. I tried to call several times to find out if the delivery would be on time but had trouble getting through. The online chat was a waste of time, it generally just said it was busy and asked for my email and phone number. The cooker finally arrived in store later than I was expecting but staff were helpful with chasing it. When I ordered it wasn't clear that it needed a 2 man delivery so I then paid the extra. The delivery day came and went and I then found out that the delivery hadn't gone through properly so it didn't arrive. We arranged for a later date- only 1 man turned up this time. Luckily my husband was around to help! I would use them again but not so easy to contact if you have an order query as some other Internet stores.

Phoned on the Friday to advise we were home from holiday, had a message to say the Freezer would be delivered between 8am and 11am on Saturday,sure enough around 8-15am a tap on the door and the driver (Leigh) asked were I wanted the Freezer, that was faster than I could go to town and search around and get it home

I decided to go with a Siemens Washing Machine given we have 4 toddlers and do one wash a day minimum. It was the best price I could find online, better than the others by nearly £100. Great service from start to finish, machine delivered as promised on the day we discussed and really helpful deliver driver nothing to much trouble. Scott in head office took my order over the phone after I asked some clarifications on web-chat, he even called me. Will use them again when I have to but a tumble dryer as will need one when the kids start school. Don't go with the usual suspects and give this great company a go.

I wish I'd read the reviews before I placed my order. The order was almost delivered on time but it was faulty. I spoke to a helpful lady on the Saturday but have since been unable to get through to customer services and 9 days on I've had no feedback. Out of absolute frustration I spoke to the Sales, needles to say the phone was answered immediately and someone said they would email customer services. Still nothing so I called again, and this time got someone who asked me to repeat and repeat and repeat myself and details and then said he would email customer services. I've gone down this dead end already. The feeling of frustration and disappointment has ruined my experience of this company and I have a useless appliance with no idea of what's happening.

I would never use this company again,as I've had an horrendous experience. Had my fridge freezer Haier 3 door delivered yesterday morning 23/9/16. Upon opening noticed a big scratch mark on fridge door and three other small scratches. Contacted customer service and have just been giving the round around ie: been told somebody will contact me, but up to now nobody has.I am now left with no fridge freezer at the moment due to disposing of my old one.I really wish I read these reviews before making my purchase,As purchasing this freezer has left me skint so therefore I need my money back so I can purchase elsewhere. *updated* 26/9/16 would just like to add,that their customer service is a disgrace,Also the customer service number is a joke as your ringing for hours before anybody answer's,and when they do they just give you the run around, but yet the sale team answer 247 to take your payment. Also customers service never return your calls, they say they will ring back and nobody ever does.They also claim no manager is available when you ask to speak with them.For the sake of saving £20.00 discount this company is not worth the hassle. So pay the extra money and shop elsewhere. They also tried to fob me off with keeping the fridge and offering a discount, and told me if i wanted a replacement i had to contact Haier myself which is a lie, as Haier themselves said it is down to the gas supperstore to arrange.I will have to contact my bank or try and find an organisation that can help me get back my £689.00.As after their disgusting customers sale service i do not want a replacement i just want back my money.

Had a 10% voucher code that popped up on the homepage of the website, 10% off everything, tried to order using the code (FLASH10) and it would not discount so rang the number on the site, spoke to staff explained the situation, did not want to know, suggested he could speak to the web sales department as it must be that the code needed activating, he seemed uninterested, I asked if he would do something about it to which he stammered, I asked "is that a no then" and he said "basically yes it is a no". Three days later out of curiosity I give it another try and code discounts, if he would have just been bothered to make the effort to get the code activated it would have been a good and price competetive deal, sometimes you just cannot get the staff to be bothered to help.

I bought a washer from Argos. They charged me delivery and it took them a week to deliver and when they did the delivery men couldn't care less and damaged the washer so badly I had to return it. So I looked elsewhere and The Gas Superstore cam up on a Google hunt. They are over 90 mins away but thats OK with online shopping - I was in thier delivery area. Price of the washer was the same as every where else except I had a discount code! Free delivery too! Product had to be ordered in though and a 7 day estimate was given. I happy with that. Three days before due delivery I get an email asking me to contact them re: delivery. They've got my order in. I ask if it can be delivered early and they found a space on a van for me! Delivery driver was a godsend. He was late but called and apologised for the traffic (how can that be his fault?). Delivery was perfect. No damage at all. Very professional. All emails replied to within minutes. I will definately be buying from them again. Wish I'd have come her first!
