I purchased a cooker hood from them which I was supposed to receive it today but I received the call from them yesterday that it's out of stock and manufacturer will call me today. I waited and waited but didn't receive any call. When I called them they put me on hold for 16 minutes. I disconnected and wrote them an email , then I received a call from them. The guy was extremely rude. He told me that he will transfer me to account department but he didn't and quickly hung. No idea when and how I will get my refund back now. They shouldn't mistreat their customers. This company should be closed.

I have placed an order for a fridge and have emailed on numerous occasions without a response. I have telephoned and has mainly been engaged. One time they answered and put me straight on hold to be left holding for 19 minutes, while holding I did live chat, I received one reply saying they are busy and to leave a number, I responded by saying I'd like to talk to someone urgently and I have not received a call yet. This company took my money on 27th September. I am utterly disgusted with this company and want my money back!!

Still waiting for a refund over a month after my order of a Spin Dryer they were never likely to provide no explanation as to where my money is just no communication and curstomer services line constantly engaged

Ordered a vital part for my new kitchen which they promised to deliver next day. It never arrived. 3 days later I rang them up - was on hold to customer services for ten minutes, then messaged them and was told customer services had closed - but they still had me on hold! The next day tried customer services again. On hold for ages. Basically, there is no one in customer services so don't bother. Rang the sales no and a guy said 'oh it says it's been dispatched, did you not get it?' I said no and he said 'well here's a no for our logistics dept, they probably didn't send it out'. Ring the no and guess what? No one answers. I believe they have stolen my money - has anyone else ever got a refund from them?

Twice promised delivery of goods that never arrived,no one cares,wished I had read other reviews,now waiting to see how long refund takes,disgusted!

This is the most appalling company I have ever - tried to - deal with. I bought a microwave oven from them. The packaging was fine but there was a small dent in the casing of the oven, which must have been there when it was packed at the factory. I have tried repeatedly to contact The Gas Superstore. All emails are ignored. Phone calls take about 20 minutes to get through and then they hang up on you. Don't EVER EVER even think of using this company. How I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand and then spent the extra few pounds buying from a reliable retailer.

I have been waiting now over 5 days for a refund. Typical case of day before delivery expected 'not in stock until end of the month.' Not good enough so cancelled. I still await my refund. Trying to call is a nightmare. It takes forever to get through, user busy, or over 20 minutes to get through to someone who says some story about awaiting an email confirming refund. Never once have I received a reply to my 5 emails. Don't waste your time. Now going to get my bank to cancel payment and will be reporting them UPDATE - I have now received my refund, only 30 days since money was first taken. Avoid they company like the plague, nothing but hassle and stress. And if you do still, order with a credit card so you have the support of your bank as you will need it!

Ordered a Lec fridge freezer on 16/08/2016 to complete a new fitted kitchen with a delivery date 23/08/16. Finally got a Lec fridge freezer on the 21st september the day after we came back off holiday.After unwrapping it was found to be severely damaged and was written off 3 days later by a Lec engineer.I did not want to deal with this company anymore so I asked for them to take away the damaged item and refund my money. On the 5th october they came and took away the damaged fridge freezer and here I quote " once the damaged item is back in stock with us we will then process a refund". It is now the 19/10/2016 and no refund has been made and I'm now contacting the MBNA.

I purchased an Outback Gas BBQ online on 3rd October 2016. I had 2 confirmation emails, one from Gas Superstore and one from Paypal. Last Thursday someone rang my phone to say there was a problem with the delivery scheduled for the following day. I tried to ring on 3 separate occasions and each time was on hold for an hour. Eventually got through today after 54 minutes and got the biggest load of rubbish about how they were waiting on stock and that when I ordered it must have been in my basket too long and so somebody else got it. All a load of bull. They took my money on the 3rd October and today told me that they have NO Outback BBQ's in stock and yet 2 are showing in stock on their website as I write this review! I asked for a call back from a manager, but doubt it will happen. I will now have to contact Paypal to dispute the item and get a refund - the single most appalling service both from the website and Customer Services I have ever received. Proud to be a family run local company? - More of an embarrassment if you ask me. Looking at other reviews I am not the only one to experience this level of service. Buy from them if you like a little danger in your life. Ian Update 2/11/16 First of all how prophetic was my comment "I asked for a call back from a manager, but doubt it will happen" ? - I got an email from XXXXXX XXXXX later that afternoon saying: ------------------------------------------------------- Dear Mr XXXXXXXXXXXXXX I have just attempted to call you without success. I sincerely apologise that we have been unable to source the bbq you had on order with us. The link below will direct you to retailers who have stock of the item... (link removed!) We are at the mercy of supply from Outback, it would appear they oversold on the availability of the product themselves which created the issue we have today. Again, sincere apologies. Best Regards XXXXXX XXXXX (Bizarre that they want to hide their names on reviews and yet reply with your name in full! In order not for them to block this review I have blanked out the man's name!) ------------------------------------------------------- I immediately replied and called him out. Since I had phoned them my outgoing line was neither used or received a phone call on, they had the right number and I even rang my own number to check it was working. I never got a response from him. I escalated the dispute with Paypal and got the money refunded on 27th October - So they had £180 of my money for 24 days - not a bad free loan I would say. Wonder what they would have had to pay on that with any loan Company? Why can I not give zero stars? Please do not respond any more Gas Superstore - you can only make things worse! I am done. Ian PS Just had a quick count up - In the last 30 days out of 47 reviews 36 were 1 star............. Make your own mind up!

Ridiculous mix up with order. Took day off to receive it, was told it wasn't coming, ordered replacement, took other day off for that, original arrived with 40 mins notice, so did other one the next day! Called and emailed to complain. Eventually offered £100 more expensive machine, declined as effort gone into getting this one has exhausted me, then as ignored for 10 days before complaining again to be offered £10 cash and to be ignored even longer as I have declined. Very poor customer service for a company that says they take it very seriously!

The company rang me the day before delivery to tell me that it was'nt in stock but they could deliver the following week. SInce then I have phoned- always engaged or cuts off in waiting, emailed- no reply, chat and they cant help because its order specific. I will have to write to cancel my order How quaint!

I made an order for a BBQ cover on 2 September, received a call to tell me that the item wasn't in stock (despite at point of order the website saying it was) and that it would be delivered by the beginning of October. I still have not received the item that I ordered and cannot get through to the customer services department. I spent 30mins on hold before giving up and my email chaser has not received a response. My recommendation to potential online customers is to be wary of the customer service, clearly this firm does not have the infrastructure in place to cope with online orders. I hope that this review illicits a response from the customer service team at the Gas Superstore as there appears to be no other way of getting through to them.

Of all the years I have been ordering from the Internet I have never had so much problems than I have had with this company. On the 05/10/16 I ordered a black Sharp Microwave which was then to be delivered on Saturday 08/10/2016. When the driver turned up with the item it was coloured silver and was sent back with him and notes made on the invoice to that fact. The invoice even stated it was supposed to be black. I then received a call on Tuesday 11//10/16 apologising for the mistake and stating it was wrongly picked. She stated she was going to phone later in the day to organise deliver – This didn’t happen. She did state that the item would get delivered on the following Saturday, but I did state that I needed the microwave as the old one was broken. On the 12/10/2016 I emailed the sales department and no one responded. On Saturday 15/10/2016 I then attempted to ring customer services and spent an hour on my mobile on three separate occasions to complain but again no one responded. There was no delivery of the item this Saturday as I was in all day. It is nearly getting on for two weeks without a microwave and this is it not acceptable. If you having problems sourcing the item I would think you would ring to explain the situation. Can someone from the company please ring me today to sort this situation out. On 17/10/2016 contacted company via email and web chat to ask what the update was. Informed they would look into it and contact me at the end of the day. Not acceptable would not deal or phone me back. Then asked for a full refund and was told to ring customer services again over an hour and nobody answers the calls. I have no goods and are out of pocket. Customer services are the most shocking people I have dealt with and its only over a microwave. So if you are buying from these people please be aware if there is a problem dont expect a quick resolution. If you read the other negative posts there is a common theme running through them - Very poor customer services.

Having been given a delivery date of a moth ago I had a terse email baldly stating it would be a week late. It is now two weeks overdue from even that estimate. I have never, ever managed get through to the "customer support" team on the phone (even after many very long waits). Twice the (much better) sales team have got back to me and said they would contact the "Customer Support" team and tell them to get back to me. either that day or the next. They have NEVER got back to me, despite the sales team cc-ing the supervisor. Having just looked at the trust pilot's reviews on the Gas Superstore's Customer Support I can see that have a dreadful, dreadful reputation and this is not a one-off event. I just hope they take some notice of this review and get back to me.

The Celsi Electric Stove was just as described and delivered on the Saturday I had booked on line. Driver Leigh was helpful, carried it into my house and waited while I unpacked it to check there was no damage. Excellent service.

Ordered Saturday. Called to cancel Sunday as not what I wanted. Seemed fine. Since then I can get through to no one to get my money back. I have been on hold for 30 minutes. Their own logistics company gs logistics hung up on me and will not answer my calls. I have already ordered a new product and so am down £289 I can't afford! Scam company

Ordered a Samsung American fridge on a Saturday for delivery the following Friday (took day off work). Dismantled old American fridge and put on door step as instructed. Never got notice of when they were coming. Finally turned up at 4pmish started to unload when I noticed that it was the wrong colour, on closer inspection it was completely the wrong unit. I was asked if I was rejecting delivery. Rang customer services which takes ages to get through, eventually spoke to someone. They said they would get the manager to call straight back, they rang back about an hour later. Agreed a new delivery date (nothing confirmed by text or email. Day before agreed re delivery date I rang to check it would be coming ( I had actually been calling all the week before trying to get through to customer services each attempt lasted over 30 mins. I also sent two emails which were ignored) Eventually got through to customer services. I was told that they had forgotten to order for delivery as agreed and it would be another week. I said I had had enough and just wanted my monies back which I was told would be done straight away it was not. I have now ordered from another supplier and it is being delivered tomorrow one day later than I had agreed with Gas superstore. This experience has cost me £100 in lost frozen food and hours waiting to try and talk to customer services

Very helpfull and polite. Machine delivered on time and old one taken without any fuss. All packaging disposed of ... excellent.
