I had to get a range cooker in a hurry. The gas superstore gave me the best price but I needed to compare 2 models. After a discussion with Scott I was sure of which cooker to purchase. He was very honest and gave me no pressure . I look forward to many years of using my new cooker. Thanks Scott.

8/4/2016 After deciding to re-vamp the kitchen I thought the only old appliances we still had were the integrated fridge & freezer which worked fine but were 24 years old. Searching the net and consumer magazines we decided on Neff for both items and found the most competitive and compliant regarding price, recycling, packaging removal and delivery date was going to be “The Gas Superstore”. This was confirmed after a few queries were resolved chatting on line with two members of staff who were very helpful and concise giving advice on the best and most cost effective way of effecting this order….. By phone, surprise, which sometimes allows us to circumnavigate inherent intransigent software bureaucracy. I’ve shopped online for over 20 years but still find occasionally a phone is what you really need. Thank you to the members of staff I spoke too, you were great. John A Addendum 22/04/2016 So The Gas Superstore whose praises I was extolling just 14 days ago after they advised me on ordering a fridge and freezer to ensure delivery on the date I wanted even offering deliveries on any of 3 dates I had mentioned as being convenient. They had also assured me there would be no problem delivering my fridge and freezer on my elected date 22nd April I was not expecting their advertised next day delivery but 14 days hence, I’d explained the delivery was imperative as on Monday 25th April a major face lift would begin in our kitchen. I was assured they would have had at least 2 deliveries by then. This morning I'd received no text, email or phone call informing me of their imminent delivery. So I phoned them, I was informed they did not have the freezer and neither did the warehouse, they had not informed me of this either, I was asked if I was sure I had ordered them to which I replied I have an invoice a date and you took the money 2 weeks ago, after I tired of silly excuses I put the phone down. I have cancelled my order with The Gas Superstore after being informed by 2 other suppliers that the particular warehouse does in fact have them in stock and I am having a delivery tomorrow and this is with just 24 hrs notice after checking in a “Consumer Magazine” for reliable traders at about £100 more but they have to be there for installation on Monday, needless to say I have no reason to recommend The Gas Superstore to anyone and apart from my invoice 2 weeks ago I’ve received no communication from them what so ever and certainly no apology. John A Addendum 2 28/04/2016 I have now received 2 emails from The Gas Superstore, from different departments notifying me of the completion of my refund process with an apology both of which are graciously accepted. As The Gas Superstore is less than an hour’s drive away I would have preferred it had things turned out differently, they are unquestionably very competitive and their staff are certainly helpful and polite. I am toying with the idea of a heat pump tumble dryer and just wondering whether to give them the opportunity to absolve themselves? Addendum 3 31/08/2016 Although a few weeks have passed since the event due to Family matters, holidays etc., I feel I must point out that I have received a personal phone call from **** who is the owner / co-owner of “The Gas Superstore” who could not apologise enough for what had ensued ‘which’ he informed me was mainly due to the introduction of new software that apart from a number of persistent bugs, staff were still endeavouring to acclimatise too. I am not only impressed that **** got personally involved but that he was prepared to give me an even better deal on any appliances I may still require (which at the moment I don’t) so left me with his email address should I do so in the future. So thank you ****!, I find it refreshing that someone at the top of the tree should leave his nest to involve himself in some basic customer care, a rarity in this day and age. Thank you again. I have been impressed by the personal one to one service from the Gas Superstore, and in particular Scott who was extremely friendly and helpful. I have ordered my new range cooker (at last!) and am waiting for delivery.

When I ordered cooker asked for Matt cast iron pan stands didn't get them when cooker came. After 4 phone calls and each time promised to ring back to me they didn't all were going to sort this out nobody has rung and now I get this review to fill in. Not apply as I was told I could have the pan stands I wanted poor service bad manners for not ringing me back paid £2000 for cooker and hood but not got what I ordered.

I bought a Microwave Oven for my work's office, delivery was fine albeit a week after purchasing, however when a problem arose and we tried to contact to try and fix said problem we heard nothing back a week later I tried again, via email and phone, which was never answered still no joy.Eventually after trying Social Media I found the live chat facility, this seems to be the only way you can 'speak' to someone. Please, please, please sort this out, your customers need communication, they need to know that they are valued, and be able to speak to you about problems either with delivery or a faulty product. Unfortunately after reading many posts on the Gas Superstore Facebook Page (had I read these before or review sites I would have ordered elsewhere) it seems that this is an ongoing problem and one which needs to be rectified if they want to keep business and have repeat custom. Put yourselves in your customers shoes, would you want to know what's going on? Another gripe is that there is no way to check the status of your order through the website....please sort this too it's easily done! Communication is the key to a successful business, don't ignore your customers! Hopefully the problem will be sorted shortly assuming the part needed will arrive, the person my colleague eventually spoke to was not exactly full of the joys of spring!

I ordered an electric oven and received confirmation of the date it would be delivered, however they failed to notify me that the product wasn't even in stock at the time and only disclosed this after I took a day off work to wait in for them and they didn't notify me or show up. I asked for the payment to be refunded that day and for a confirmation email, I got neither. It is now 18 days later and numerous phone calls and I still have not received the refund. I am now having to pursue it via my credit card company. Avoid at all costs - these guys are sharks.

I ordered, online, charcoal filters for an extractor fan on 06.03.16; the website gave options for delivery. On my chosen day of delivery, I received a missed call from the company, I made several attempts to call back, but went through to an automated message, which then put me on hold for anything up to 10 minutes each time - I gave up and sent the company an email asking why they had called me. They responded stating that the filters were not in stock, and would take 5 to 7 days to get in (this despite their website stating they could deliver in a couple of days, and accepting my payment). As I'd already paid, I decided to go ahead. However, 10 days later no filters; I emailed the company, but after a couple of days had received no response. I emailed them again stating that I now wanted a refund. I received a one line reply telling me that my request would have to go to accounts. The person replying really needs a course in customer relations, as there was no apology for all the inconvenience, the person had not even bothered to begin or end their email with the usual 'dear sir' etc. I eventually received a refund on 01.04.16, almost a month after the initial order, and then only after I had to send further correspondence to the company threatening to go to Trading Standards, and PayPal. My advice is do not trust this company, it's impossible to contact them on the telephone, they were not able to come up with the goods, their customer care is non-existent, they drag their feet when it comes to refunding money. This company state clearly on their website that they are 'part of the Gas Superstore Ltd.' (and it was they who eventually issued my refund); I suggest that you also read reviews of that company (here on Trustpilot) before using either.

Unacceptable behaviour on behalf of GasSuperstore when a complete lack of response was received to my multiple attempts to request a refund for 2 items out of 8 that I had purchased. I purchased an entire set of kitchen appliances for our brand new kitchen from this company. In the process of installing the kitchen it turned out that the extractor fan did not fit the splash back, they were sold to us as two items that go together. They, unfortunately, did not fit each other and we had to rush out and buy a replacement hood and a splash back to fit whilst the builders were in the house fitting our kitchen. I contacted the company 3 times so far asking to return the items. They have not responded to any of my emails, nobody answers the phone calls either. We have been mis-sold and left in the lurch when a problem arose! It is an utterly unacceptable behaviour. I will be taking them to a small claims court if nobody responds to my request asap.

The worst purchase transaction ever! Wouldn't give it even one star. After sale customer care is non existent. When the hob, I had ordered didn't arrive it took me over a week to rearrange the replacement. 15-20 minutes waiting time over the phone, and when you get to speak to someone they don't know how to deal with the problem. Emails are ignored. The hob turned out to be damaged. No replacement, no opportunity to return and refund. No answers to emails, nobody to sort out problems over the phone. We had to pay for three wasted visits of the electrician. No hob for over a month . Had to start a dispute through the credit card company. My husband's 65th birthday anniversary spoilt. Lots of frustration and disappointments dealing with this company! Avoid!

This order placed on 17th Feb was in stock and due for delivery Monday 29th stayed in all day, sent email to get update but no response after 24hrs. 1/3/16 2nd email sent to complain they phoned to apologize 2/3/16 They phoned freezer available possible Fri or Tues latest did not phone back as promised. 22/3/16 3rd email sent to complain 22/3/16 They called item in stock delivery agreed for Thur 24th March told we would get a text to confirm delivery time but this has not been received.

Placed an order for a Gas Fire on 8 February was told it would be a 5-7 day delivery to the warehouse and then I would receive an email and a call to arrange delivery. I never received either. Called several times over the next few weeks and was unable to get through, sent two chaser emails - still no response. On 1 March I used the chat on the website as I was unable to get through on the phone was told the fire would be with them by the end of the week - err no! Called again and used the chat on the website on 8 March again told that fire would be delivered to them end of the week I would receive delivery on Saturday 12th March and advised I would receive a text to give 3 hour delivery slot. Again nothing, called on Saturday morning spoke to John (manager) who said he would take responsibility as this was unacceptable (you're telling me!!) and would call me on Monday to advise delivery. He did call and advised again that fire would be with them by end of week and I could expect delivery on Friday but he would call me on Thursday to confirm. Eventually late afternoon on Thursday I again called because I had not heard and was told that although they had had a delivery from the manufacturer the fire was delivered to them. John then suggested to resolve the issue they could provide an alternative fire which was according to them £50 more than the original one ordered, yes maybe it was when I ordered back in February but not now according to the website there is only a difference of about £10 - feeling slightly cheated. I agreed to the alternative and was told I would receive email late Thursday evening and a text Friday morning to provided 3 hour delivery slot - yeah right!! - that never happened either. I called them yet again on Friday and was advised that yes it was out for delivery and they would check where the driver was and would call me at least half and hour before so that I could be home to accept. I got a call from a guy who was 'sitting outside my property', I hadn't been called - no surprise there!! When I arrived home he said he had basically been told to get the fire out of the warehouse and bring it over there was one out on a van somewhere but wouldn't have been delivered until late evening, which would have been fine if only they had let me know. All in all a very disappointing experience. I will never recommend or use this company again.

This is the first time i have purchased anything from this company, not living in the same area, but I am very pleased with the friendly service I received from Paul today. I have only just ordered the product today so delivery is not for a few days but if the delivery is as good as the initial ordering procedure I will be very pleased. I would recommend having a look at the gas superstore if you are looking for a new appliance and placing the order over the phone with a member of staff directly was very easy and a pleasure doing business. Shame all companies are not like this as customer service seems to be dieing art. I hope my product is all I am hoping and the summer weather starts soon. Many thanks.

Called their shop at 2:30pm Saturday, ordered a dishwasher, & arranged for free delivery & fitting the following Monday afternoon. Got a text as promised 3 hours before delivery giving an ETA, which turned out to be spot on. Driver fitted the dishwasher - job done. No hassles, everything was as promised. Will buy from them again.

We were looking for best price for Dimplex Electric Flame fire and found Gas Superstore offering an excellent price. Ordered at 2.00pm Friday and delivered 10.10am Saturday morning. Fire all set up in place by 11.30am!! The Company sent a Text message Saturday morning to say the item was being delivered and then a telephone call half an hour before delivery, so no wasting a whole day at home, just waiting for a delivery that could come at any time. Very pleased - the service we had was faultless from placing the order to delivery.

After 4 weeks of promising to deliver our drier it never actually arrived. Half of the time they didn't even let us know that it wouldn't arrive on the expected date. A month later we decided to cancel our order as its not acceptable, and asked for a refund. After holding our money for over a month now we are now a week after cancelling the order and we still havent had our money back.... I will be ringing them today AGAIN to see where it is and again I will just be told it would be here within a couple of days and nothing will happen. Sick of ringing these people and talking to their abosule useless staff that don't even care about their customers- including the "managers". I would rather eat a full bowl of number two than order from them again. Will see how much more time they'll need to refund our money. Been without a drier for a month and a half now, thanks to the gas super store

Was a bit worried about some reviews about the gas superstore but I found them to be very polite on the phone and I got several messages and email's about my delivery and also a call from the driver and found him very polite and helpful also may I say one of the cheapest prices on the Web would recommend and will use again in the future a 1 service thanks Mr Osullivan

A quick search on the internet showed The Gas Superstore to be the cheapest for the product I wanted. When I ordered it they gave me a delivery date and the item duly arrived as promised, delivered by a fanatical Leicester City supporter who was happy to pass a couple of minutes chatting about the merits of our relative teams' chances in the league this year (he being more optimistic than me!). Perfect.
