The gas superstore return policy don't work. The policy says : If for any reason you are unhappy with your appliance, you have 7 days as a cancellation period.Simply call to reschedule a pick-up and as long as the goods are returned in the new condition, undamaged, having all parts, and is re-sellable, you will be given a full refund. I did as above and they still do not accept it, so if you buy from them make sure you do not want to return it.
The service received from the Salesman Scott was excellent and would recommend the company to anyone shopping for gas cooker.
Honestly, the best service I've received through an online website. Andrew could not have been more obliging and helpful throughout the whole experience of purchasing 4 large appliances!! Stressful in itself.. I was pleased with every aspect and will not hesitate to use you guys again.... so long as the delivery goes well!!
I spent ages looking for a gas cooker - found the one I wanted at a great price with them. Placed the order, but I was very disappointed when there was no ETA on any stock!! Much to my suprise, they offered me a replacement cooker (a more expensive, better one at that) and honoured the original price. Can't ask for better than that!
Having been frustrated by certain national companies who require you to place an order online before telling you the product is out of stock (grrrr), it was refreshing to be able to talk to a human being who dealt with my order immediately. Not only that but item was cheaper & was delivered next day as promised with text delivery slot & phone call 30 mins before arrival. I'm a very happy customer.
I discovered this supplier via a simple Google search on a Bosch Cordless Vacuum cleaner, they came up as the cheapest. Always sceptical, I was somewhat reassured at their customer reviews, location and disclosure of full contact details including address and landline telephone. After placing an order, I was contacted by one of the staff by telephone to explain a discontinuation of supply of the specific model but with an offer of an alternative later and superior product at the same price. After accepting this offer, I then received email confirmation of the order and then later, a text advising exact delivery details which were then executed to within the hour. In summary, I am utterly impressed with this supplier in terms of their web site, price, direct customer liaison and delivery. This is so refreshing and it is a pleasure to be able give such a review. Well done, The Gas Super Store, I'd never heard of you previously but I would be very happy to recommend you as an all round, first class supplier; thank you for a terrific service.
I would like to give credit where it is due for the excellent service I have received from the Gas Superstore and Andrew in particular. We initially discussed my requirements over the live chat and then I received the following service:- 1) Andrew rang me back to discuss my order (I have not come across many companies these days who will phone you back) 2) Andrew price matched a quote I had using Topcashback (which was not available on the Gas Superstore website) 3) Andrew arranged for the goods to be delivered the next day and they certainly were 4) and finally the goods were delivered early this morning (on time as promised) by an equally pleasant and helpful courier I can not fault the service I have received and would like to offer my many thanks for your help and service from start to finish.
Andrew was very helpful and enabled me to complete my order with not just a cooker but also the matching hood all at a very reasonable price. Delivery was equally good arriving when quoted and again a very helpful and polite service, The price for this Rangemaster with discount was the best I could find on the internet.
Simon, my sales rep. was great. Price matched my fridge and freezer, and even offered me a more expensive fridge than the one I originally ordered -at the same price. I'm still waiting on delivery, but so far, an excellent service.
Scott, who took my order, was very quick and effective, while still providing friendly and thoughtful service. In particular, I was impressed how he took it upon himself to waive the charge for removing the packaging as the person for whom the appliance was being bought is not well. I would definitely use The Gas Superstore again and recommend them.
Scott at The Gas Superstore was extremely helpful when I was looking to buy a Rangmaster cooker. After having a nightmare with Currys delivering 3 damaged Ringmaster cookers to our house, we needed a cooker immediately. Thank you so much to Scott and the team for getting the cooker out to us so quickly and it was in perfect working order! We love it! We really appreciate your personal touch. I would definitely highly recommended The Gas Superstore for buying appliances. Thank you!
Scott was able to answer my queries and offer flexibility on price. Prompt and efficient service, all sorted in just a few minutes. Thank you
WARNING!!! If you choose to buy an appliance from thegassuperstore.com, call them and ask for the dimensions of the packaged item because they aren't allowed to unpack it and the packaged item may not fit through the door. I was originally going to order the fridge from ao.com but as I was looking, I found thegassuperstore.com website and as it said that it has a physical store and is Google certified, I decided to order from here instead. I checked the dimensions of the fridge on the website. The new fridge is slightly taller, exactly the same width and actually less deep than our original fridge so I placed my order. The fridge is actually for my retired parents so I entered their delivery address and completed the purchase. I received an email on the morning of the delivery day saying the fridge would arrive between 8-11am. I called my parents a couple of times during the day and the fridge had not been delivered within the time slot. This in the end did turned out to be a good thing considering what happened when the fridge did arrive! I luckily left work early to pick up my baby from my parents house and arrived there for 2pm and still no fridge. I called the number on my email confirmation. The man who answered the phone told me he would check with the driver what was going on. He came back on the phone and said "they'll be there in half an hour". I asked what had happened and basically his response was something along the lines of "I don't know. I didn't ask". He barely managed to squeeze out a sorry before I thought "just let it go" and went off the phone. Then as I was told, the delivery did arrive approximately half an hour later. The 2 delivery men unloaded the fridge and placed it on the drive and then came in to take out our old fridge for removal. The house is a standard 1930s terraced house so the hallways are quite narrow but the original fridge went it this way. The delivery men looked at the space and said that even if they get this fridge out, there's no way the new fridge would get in because they cannot unpack it until it is in the kitchen and the packaging makes it too big. So I asked why they can't unpack it and they explained because if there is any damage and we make a claim, it comes out of their salary. I completely understand their position because I also wouldn't want that happening to me. This left us stuck. We did ask for the old fridge to be taken out as we had paid for removal and it was broken so the guys got the old fridge out with a bit of a struggle as it had curved doors which made the depth a bit more. The drivers suggested that they could leave the fridge in the corridor and we could then get it to the kitchen ourselves but I explained to them that there was no one to move it hence we paid extra for installation. So with a packaged fridge in the driveway, the driver called your customer services and passed me the phone. The man I spoke to was most unhelpful. I explained that when I purchased the fridge, I looked at the dimensions and that as they were the same as the fridge we currently have (except for the slight height difference) why would I think that it would not fit? I had no way of knowing that the box was going to be so much bigger than the actual product. I basically said that there's nothing we can do as the drivers can't get the fridge in so it needs to go back and he told me there would be a charge of £49.99. I said that I was not willing to pay that as I had no way of knowing that the packaged product would not fit when I placed the order. This went back and forth for a while and then I asked to speak to a manager. A lady came on the phone after a little while and in the meantime we measured the fridge book. The box wouldn't even fit through the front door! The box was half an inch too wide for the front door. I started speaking to the manager and went through some of what was happening and she spoke to the driver and then came back on the phone with me. She said I basically have 2 choices. They can leave the fridge and I can deal with it or I have to pay £49.99 to have it returned. Those were my only 2 choices. She said something to me and I actually didn't hear her properly so I said "sorry I don't understand" (maybe I should have said "sorry I didn't hear you!), but her response was "no, I don't understand either!" in quite an annoyed tone. When we were talking about the having to pay the £49.99 return charge I said 'I'm not will in to pay that" and her response was something along her lines of "you don't have to, we just take it from you." After getting very frustrated and speaking to 3 very unhelpful people, I was getting quite upset. I again said that the fridge won't fit with the packaging and I didn't know that the when I ordered the fridge and then she said that the driver said it would fit without the packaging. So I replied saying that they weren't willing to bring it in in case they damaged it. Just like I didn't want to pay £49.99, they didn't want to loose any of their pay. The manager then spoke to the driver and I guess basically ordered them to bring the fridge in without the packaging if we were OK with it. I asked my parents and really what choice did they have at this point. So the drivers unpacked it and got the fridge into the kitchen. It does have a small dent and a few scratches but I would not claim anything from the delivery guys because they were nothing but helpful. The phone calls took place between approximately 2.30-3.30pm and the staff on the phone were not only unhelpful but the manager was rude and I think her customer service was atrocious. I did ask the drivers if they work for thegassuperstore.com directly and they said yes so the fridge would be going back to them when the drivers went back anyway so charging £49.99 seems absolutely ridiculous to me when I did not know about the size of the box! I also work in an environment where customer service plays a big part and the response I got would completely unacceptable whether it be due to their tone or simple lack of knowledge. Luckily I was there because I don't know how my elderly parents would have dealt with this! Not long after the drivers left, I got a call from someone from thegassuperstore.com asking me to send them an email explaining what had happened and they would get back to me. This was 3 months ago and I still haven't heard back. I certainly will not be buying anything from them again. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever had.
I ordered a new cooker from Gas Superstore on 16 December and was told it would be delivered on 23 December just in time for Christmas. I arranged to be at home to receive it. I received a phone message less than 24 hours before delivery was due, on 22 December saying the item was out of stock and would not be available until late January. I immediately called back but could not get through despite repeated attempts - I spent more than 1 hour on hold, and the same the next day. This was a disaster - no cooker, a day before Christmas! And no way to communicate with the company to find an alternative. I emailed but never had any reply. I finally resorted to a confirmed delivery snail mail letter cancelling my order, and 10 days later received a one line email saying they had cancelled my order. This is genuinely the worst service I have ever encountered. Incompetent stock management. Total non-communication. Very poor customer service. I strongly recommend you avoid this company, they cannot be trusted. 0/10
as promised, good delivery service, on time and professional. no complaints

Jan 31,2016I paced an order with this company on the 10th January for a Washing Machine and waited three weeks for a delivery date. On the 30th January the supposed delivery date a phoned The Gas Superstore and was told there was a problem with my delivery and I wouldn't be getting the Washing Machine that day! They advised me to leave my Machine outside to be collected but as it had been raining and my Machine still remains in the garden. I was told a manager would call me the following day to try and organise a suitable delivery date but was told I would have to wait a further week, so would be without a Washing Machine for another seven days!! Customer Service non existent and every time you try to call it takes twenty minutes to talk with someone! Do yourself a favour and look else where!
