Thank you for a smooth transaction in buying a compact vented tumble dryer. From selecting my chosen date on the web page, right up until delivery two days later, I was impressed at how easy it was to make the purchase. I even received a phone call from the delivery driver half an hour before he arrived to my house!

We bought a Rangemaster Professional plus 90cm dual fuel cooker from The Gas Superstore. They advertised a really quick delivery and the price was competitive so we went with them. We were due to receive the delivery on the Monday but I was called and told they'd been let down by Rangemaster and that it would be Friday. I was then called again and told there was a further delay and that they could offer me a Saturday delivery but that would mean I wouldn't get a 2 man delivery which I'd paid extra for. Both times I was called by the same person who was very polite and apologetic but ultimately was unable to deliver what had been promised. We were left without a cooker for nearly an extra week and whilst they did refund the 2 man delivery charge there was no additional offer to compensate. I joked that they should throw in some Rangemaster oven gloves but they didn't seem to take the hint. When the allotted delivery day came we were given a 3 hour time slot by text but that came and went and there was still no sign of the delivery. We called and were told that the driver was delayed. It was annoying that we had to chase them; the office closed at 5pm and still no sign of the driver. Eventually we gave up and left the house and started to walk into town. It was quite by chance we noticed the van pass us so I ran back to the house and met the driver. He was really nice and conscientious but had clearly been given too many deliveries to do, he still had 3 to do and it was 3 hours after the end of our 3 hour delivery window. It seemed to happen to him a lot as he said "usually I call people when it gets this late". The oven is exactly the one we wanted and our kitchen install has been a little delayed for other reasons so it remains in its packaging so in the end it was no harm done but I'd be wary of the promised delivery times from The Gas Superstore if I ordered from them again.
Fantastic price pulled us in but the customer service was fantastic and the product delivered exactly as promised with no fuss. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.
Ordered an appliance and when it wasn't delivered by the end of delivery date, I rang the store. I was told on the phone that they are having problems with the manufacturer with the appliance I ordered. I was offered another appliance with similar specification which could be delivered next week and they will also fit it. I agreed and waited for the delivery. It arrived and when opened the appliance was severely damaged. The appliance was taken back by the delivery man. Next day I was offered yet another appliance of different make which I wasn't happy with. In the end I ended up asking for refund which they did.

Website showed item (Stoves 550DFW) being in stock and allowed me to select next day delivery but after taking my money I was called the next morning to be told it wasn't in stock and would take 3 weeks to source and deliver.
Superb service and great prices
Needed a gas fire pretty quick and I got exactly that. Very pleased
Very nice fire but with severe limitations for elderly. The low level control knob makes it very difficult for the elderly to turn on. Valor have advised of a knob at £30 which caters for the disabled which we have yet to try. There is another restriction which also poses an additional problem for the elderly. Due to the position of the knob when the fire has to be turned up / down / off, instinct is to support yourself with your left hand (due to the low level of the control knob on the right hand side) first thing that is near is the top of the hot fire.!!!!! Valor should indicate that this fire is unsuitable for the disabled / limited movement elderly.
The splashback was all dented and damaged but they refused to swap it. They also did not deliver on when suppose to (next day) and delivered the product on their convenient day not mine! Their customer service guy couldn't care less.
Just purchased a Celsi Flamonic Enchant Flame Effect wall mounted electric fire from Gas Superstore - Service from them has been first class - cannot fault. Ordered the fire online & it was delivered within 24 Hrs to the Slough area. - that will be hard to beat for an online purchase. However there was a problem with the fire - the log bed was broken in two when delivered - informed GS about this & they immediately ordered a replacement - we have to wait another 4-5 weeks for a replacement - its now fingers crossed time -using the supplied glass bead effect while we wait.
