Jul 20,2023I’ve just completed my course of support work in school and colleges in the hope of becoming a teaching assistant in a primary school. My tutor Laura was absolutely brilliant she helped me with any struggles that I faced and I actually finished before my end date. Couldn’t have wished for. A better tutor to offer me the right help and support and the feedback on my submissions was amazing. Would recommend this course to any of my friends and family

Jul 19,2023I was very nervous about undertaking this course as I can find assessments stressful, mixed in with having 2 young children. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really interesting and I have learnt so much. The course I completed was Support Work in Schools and Colleges because I want to become a teaching assistant. It is a very informative course, and gave me lots of knowledge about the behind the scenes of working in schools. I have also gained a lot of information about employability e.g., all about mindset. My tutor, India, was absolutely amazing. Always answered my emails and was available to help whenever I needed it, guiding me with my answers and offering plenty of moral support. I've really enjoyed the course and I am so glad I chose to do it.

The pace was about right for me and having the flexibility to log into the course whenever it suited me was ideal. I missed the interaction with other students that you would usually get with a face-to-face course, but my tutor (India) was excellent and she was very supportive throughout.

I am pleased with all of the tips given by her to help my specific needs. She is very encouraging and supported me through the entire process step by step. I am happy with the course and have learnt a lot.

Jul 11,2023My tutor Laura Townsend is amazing. She is very amiable. In the beginning I didn’t like the fact that the course was compressed to a very short span. I couldn’t keep up with the pace. But I started enjoying it afterwards, especially with the feedback I got for my submissions. Laura is very supportive and always there when I need her. I thoroughly enjoyed the zoom sessions with her. Only downside of the course is the time frame. As lots learning takes place, research and comprehensive answers, it would be better if it’s a little longer.

I completed the maths level 1 and for someone that’s never been confident with maths I didn’t believe that I would pass the exam but my confidence really grew with Katie’s belief in me. I would encourage anyone to do it - such a fantastic free course.

My tutor was so supportive and helpful throughout the whole ten week course and was quick to reply to any query I had. Her knowledge of the topic was exceptional, and she provided follow-up phone calls, prompt email responses, and continuous support whenever needed. Additionally, she provided encouraging feedback when marking my assignments. The course material was comprehensive and informative, and it included various activities and assignments that helped me reinforce my knowledge.
