Jan 23,2024I have recently used this company to purchase three items. After taking advice, two of the items were wrong and had to be returned. The people giving advice did not have indepth knowledge, in fact they didn't even understand the product specifications and the return process has been a disaster. Their delivery times run into weeks and when you inquire, they simply don't care. Their customer service is non-existent and they should be investigated by the Comnerce Commission for the range of deceitful and deliberately misleading practices that they appear to engage in. While their price may appear cheap, their service and integrity are far shoodier and they should be avoided at all cost. I intend to initiate proceedings in the small claims court to recover the considerable costs abd losses that I have incurred.

Jan 23,2024Never use this company!!! Worst service. I bought several items for a new bathroom for a new build two months ago and stored them in a container only for them to be installed now and find the top of the cistern is broken. They take no responsibility for broken items if the packaging isn't opened within 24 hours of receiving it. This clearly does not match the Consumers Guarantee act which state Retailers and other suppliers guarantee their goods will be of acceptable quality. "Acceptable quality means, Are acceptable in appearance and finish, Are free from minor defects & Are safe and durable." All of which this product wasn't! I will be filing a complaint and ask for this company to be investigated.

Jan 22,2024just terrible would give zero if i could still no delivery after being told next day it’s now 14 days later ! In this freezing weather two heaters were ordered I asked for a refund to order elsewhere and was told write in explaining why . Then refund will be up to 5 days . People on the phone havnt got a clue . Avoid

Jan 22,2024Please do not order from this company no matter how good deal Bought washer dryer combo delivery 7 th Dec ..both came broken , after several emails a replacement dryer came it's now into 8th week and they finally picked up washing machine only for them to say they will fix it not replace it I'm so over them thanks have emailed you all I want is replaced washing machine 😞. Ricky have emailed you this is rediculous I'm getting emails now about dryer which has been replaced I just want washing machine dropped off .... Why is this so hard updated 08/02 finally got washing machine delivered ... I will never order from you guys again rediculous customer service ... I'd rather pay double

Jan 19,2024I needed a new cook top as mine had broken. I bought one from Trade depot and had it installed. The one I purchased had 2 x 160mm and 2 x 210mm on trade depots website . Which was the size I wanted. The one I received was 2 x160 mm and 2 x 180 mm. I contacted them about this. To start off the contract with them was good. Then the contact when down hill. Now my email is being rejected for some reason. All I wanted was help and an answer. I have purchased quite a few kitchen and laundry items from them. Not happy.

Jan 18,2024I bought my Midea Fridge from Trade Depot (by The Market website) on 23/11/2024. I received the fridge in 8 days and I loved. The fridge is way better than I imagined and arrived in perfect condition. I live upstairs and the transportation company walked all the way up on upstairs to leave the fridge in front of my door. I appreciate it. The price was really cheap comparing to other places. I would buy there again definitely.

Jan 11,2024Trade depot poor delivery service. Cancelled on me after (one) miss call. I was in the middle of doing something and had my phone elsewhere and saw it buzzing. Suddenly receive a cancelled delivery for a miss call. A minute later I txt him that my partner was already waiting for him but he did not make any effort in replying to my calls or text messages. He drove off with my washing machine and didn’t fulfil the delivery. Delivery drivers name is Mandeep. If you get him as a delivery person do not be surprised if he is lazy and drives off on you. Such a shame that trade depot has a delivery driver like that and does not make an effort to deliver customer orders. Reply to comment: Can’t be reliable If delivery driver can’t make a delivery…

Jan 11,2024Worst customer service experience. Drove from Raglan to Hamilton store to buy a drinks fridge. Arrived shortly before closing, walked around the store, could not find any assistance - 1 guy at a desk that did not acknowledge me. A guy with a hearing aid said he wasn't authorised to help. Front checkout girl was really helpful and rang someone to meet me in the fridge dept. Waited, 4 staff suddenly appeared, all packed up and ready to leave the store. Was then told the could not do anything today, as "it was a health and safety issue"??? Huh? Left the store prior to 6:00pm closing, expressing my disappointment. To her credit, the checkout girl apologised. To the staff on the floor, sorry for the inconvenience - it won't happen again - I shall never return.

Jan 11,2024We purchased a kettle online and picked it up when down in Christchurch. We live at Kaiteriteri and when we got it home the water level window would not work. Got in touch with them, sent the photos as requested and they immediately sent a replacement by courier, no drama, and no charge to us, which works perfectly. Their customer service could not be faulted and is a great example to others of how to treat customers.

Jan 10,2024Order date: 2023-10-30 Order number: X258708 Order arrived shower unit - minus bath. Contact made with Trade Depot - explaining no bath. Received a duplicated order of our shower unit. No Bath. Contacted Trade depot Ricky. Six weeks after ordering and being told product was in stock we received our bath - but Flyways refused to taken duplicated order of shower unit back even though it had Flyways return stickers. Two week later Flyways attempted to deliver yet another bath-we refused deliver- got a phone call asking why we had refused delvery - explained we already have a bath don't need a second one - the following week - yes you guessed it another bath delivery and we said no thank you but you can have your bath and a shower unit ? and yes you guessed it no we (flyways) not authorized to take the return. Received an email on the15th of Decmber explaining pick up would not be before christmas - ok we now 10 th January and still no pick up? whats next I wonder. ? We have also received a delivery confirmation for the third of January, which was signed for by "Don" ? Would love to know what that was and where it was delivered, because it was not with us.

Jan 08,2024The worst company I have ever dealt with. A fridge repair from them resulted in damage to my kitchen bench which they deny accountability. Hard to get ahold of anybody. Took at least 6 months for a replacement fridge handle. Delivery guy ripped off my Asd son. Disgusting service I will never purchase from this company ever again.

Dec 30,2023Very disappointed with wall cupboards and end panel, every piece was chipped and we had to repair as we had ordered a while ago for our Christmas project. Very poor quality, in fact cupboards were in worse condition than the ones of over 10 years being replaced in the laundry. Our advice check your order as soon as it arrives if not using straight away.

I was unable to contact their phone number, so went into the store. Sam resolved the issue with one call and I'm so grateful. Had tried to send this review some time ago but it won't post. Dec 06,2023I would love to make a comment on the quality of the products that I have ordered, problem is I can't seem to get them delivered. Oven and washing machine ordered in October and in stock, informed that they were despatched to courier on the 11th of November (or so I am being told), but this changes daily along with other multiple lies, including that the items have been delivered, that they are in Hamilton and told today they are still in christchurch depot. I have sent multiple emails, daily phone calls and been promised dilvery but still no items. I will NOT be ordering ever again. I have lost thousands in loss of rental income, serves me right for trying to get a bargain. Take my advice buy from the stores in town and pay for some peace of mind.

Dec 04,2023Very happy with the product from trade depot good price and great quality but it was very unfriendly and rude delivery service not happy with the 3rd party carrier at all he was not helpful and just made the delivery harder than it should have been and your customer service after I rang them was unhelpful and made me feel like I wasn't taken seriously or like I was a valued customer we have bought a few products off of you and this was the worst experience we have had I only gave one star for the good deal I got

Dec 03,2023Not impressed with item at all brought a washer and dryer set back in July 2023 got delivered washer and dryer have been able to use dryer but washing machine comes up with and Error 3 message got it picked up to be repaired got delivered new one after about 5 weeks and I’m waiting to hear about pick up for new one that’s has Come up with same message please arrange pick up of this machine immediately not impressed at all not Can’t seem to get an update on pick up either which is

Jan 24,2024Terrible experience, staff is just concerned about selling. I purchased wall oven, however warehouse person told me there is no stock.Clearly their system showed 4 items in stock. Chat online option no one would ever answer , just keep waiting if it is post purchase issue. If you purchase big items staff will talk to you otherwise who cares.Warehouse persons are rude and lazy. The only fact they have cheaper products however no after sales service.
