Nov 29,2023Don't deal with Trade Depot There products are inferior and not actually any cheaper, there Customer service is appalling I bought a shower before reading any reviews the plumber would not install it because he had installed 3 previously including one with the "new design base" (it pooled water away from the waste the floor was perfectly level) the other the liner cracked on insulation, and another cracked a few weeks after installation and went yellow in the sun I returned the shower 3 weeks ago ( this process took way to long and was very unorganized ) and have received no refund or any communication at all I wish I had read the reviews, hard to believe this company is still in business Don't go near this lot, they aren't cheap, and there terrible products will end up costing you way more in the end, if I could give them zero stars I would

Nov 25,2023I have used these guys beforeβ¦ but after my most recent experience will never again and will happily recommend my friends donβt either. Having got products at my house only to find out plumbing wouldnβt suit them, I contacted them to return the stock within 3 days unopened. The phone call went well with the rep very helpful. Then I went to their location to return and the experience was appalling. I was belittled for getting it wrong, there was huffing and puffing from staff to make it clear I was a gross inconvenienceβ¦. Then came taking the stock to βdoor 3β where the experience intensified. Swearing from staff, being told βget it out, get it outβ over and over while I struggled to lift the heavy items. The gentleman next to me explained he was having the same experience for returning something. I will shop where a company treats humans with respect from now on. And clearly thatβs not at TradeDepot. Stay away is my advice

Nov 16,2023Have bought lots from Trade Depot. Everything has come with issues Bought bathroom cabinet and top. Top was chipped, they replaced in good time. Shower kit, took nearly a year to get all the parts with tons of emails. It was suggested i lost parts. My house went without a working shower for months. My washing machine was 2 years old and died due to bearing failure, trade depot offered to subsidize repair even though under consumer guarantees ACT a washing machine should last seven to ten years. They picked up the machine and decided it was unreparable and offered me a replacement, The replacement was second-hand, dirty and stinky. Covered in dents and scratched. The machine i sent back was immaculate!!!! After emailing i was offered a pitiful $50 store voucher. These guys are rip off artists, who hide behind terrible communication frustrating people to the point where they just give up. I give up and I'll never buy off then again and highly recommend you don't either

Nov 11,2023I bought a wizz bang toilet with bidet, it failed after 3 months, it took 4 months of no contact from them, except regular replies to my email saying my case is resolved, ticket closed. I finally got Raj the Owner to ring me and it still took 2 months, after suppling more fault product attempting repair it, to get it replaced. Now the replacement one 7 months later has stopped working, its been 2 months with the same duckshoving, and emails saying case closed, Ive asked Raj to ring me and still ZERO. Im now considering going to the commerce commission and fair go.. unfortunately I cant give minus 10 stars..Pity

Nov 10,2023Wish we had read the reviews before making a purchase. We bought a washing machine little over a year ago. Within months, our clothes were being stained. Unable to remove the stains and numerous items can no longer be worn. We raised this with trade depot, who sent a technician out to check the machine. Basically, itβs not fit for purpose in that softener cannot be used in this machine (despite having a designated area for the deposit of softener). Apparently, this isnβt a fault on the machine. We simply shouldnβt use softener in washes! Weβve now been invoiced for the technician review! We have a useless washing machine, leaving clothes dirtier than they were when they were put in the wash and a bill for the pleasure of a technician confirming this! Will not buy from trade depot again.

Have called multiple times, told they would look into and get back to me, no ones has updated me, sent multiple emails, no reply and their stupid online chat robot is useless. . Have asked for a refund and they are ignoring me. DO NOT USE!

Nov 03,2023We brought a whole new kitchen set and shower set back in August, (spent at least 5k) our experience has not been pleseant, Customer Service is terrible. We had wrong parts delivered, missing items, still waiting for items, dealt with multiple people who had the same answer, managed to get a credit refund by going into Trade Depot in Hamilton (who were more helpful) and now we have a broken vanity from delivery and still no one has made contact about our next process my advice would be to collect your items, open the box on site and triple check your goods we will not go back to them again it is very stressful as we now can't finish our bathroom.

Nov 01,2023We have purchased two separate bathrooms off these guys. The first arrived very late and the cabinets were broken and the sink was in half. The 2nd time everything arrived fast and intact apart from the fact that our mixer sets were missing the shower mixers. Simple enough I thought but we have been waiting over near 3 weeks for them to resolve this. Started calling every day since they approved the request for mixers to be sent and each time we get told they will send an email to dispatch. And now to get a refund we need to send stuff back we didn't receive after having to pay for new fittings. Who the hell is running this place! Edit to add your showers don't seal either. We get everything professionally installed to make sure there's no issue on our part only to find your products are as useless as your communication

Oct 21,2023We recently purchased and paid a plumber to install a shower. When he put the lining against the wall it split down the middle. This has never happened in all his years in the trade. Contacted Trade Depot and they said the fault must have been at our end and that was the end of that. Customer service could be much better, even the process of communication is slow and not user friendly. Ended up costing us another $300.

Oct 20,2023Worst company to deal with. Still waiting for the product to be delivered 5 & 1/2 weeks so far. Emails donβt get answered, that chat thing, is just useless, no help at all. When you ask questions, they donβt answer them & apparently their call centre only has one phone line. I paid them money for a product, I have not received that product, itβs like theft.

Have been dealing with them for over seven weeks to get a refund, always end up talking to a different person every time you ring, two of their customer representatives out and out lied about the progress of the issue. Can never speak to managers or finance people. NEVER DEAL WITH COMPANY, A WARNING

Oct 16,2023Worst customer service and people to deal with! We purchased a fridge/freezer that keeps freezing things in the fridge. We have had to throw away so much because it has become inedible. Communication was ok up until a tech came around to look at the fridge and couldn't apparently not see anything wrong with it. He said it was "manual defrost" which the manual says otherwise. It says that fridge compartment will automatically defrost during running, which is not the case. There is ice all over the back of the fridge and anything that goes in the vege drawer gets frozen. They have told us they will need to charge us the call out fee, 20% restocking fee and return freight to replace the unit. I said we will not be paying for any of that - NONE of this was mentioned to me in any communication. All communication from them has now stopped, and I have not heard anything from them since the 9th Oct. I will be taking this further!!! do not buy from this place!!!

On phone for over an hour on hold listening to some terrible music. I asked to change the date of delivery in which they tried to it deliver anyway. Now I donβt know when it will be delivered at all and no one to talk to.

Oct 06,2023Was sent wrong item so sent it back and called to cancel the order as had to buy else where, needed for a job. Week goes by without contact the correct cable arrived even tho I cancel and bought else where so sent that cable back, and now 3 weeks later no cable or refund and they hang up when call them to ask about it

Oct 04,2023I purchased a Novo Ceramic cooktop and a Vogue 310200 5 Function Oven and had them installed today. The planning and booking of the job was undertaken by Joe who was very efficient and pleasant. She sent me Simon (installers) details and Simon and I booked a time. Rome sent through the Job No and today Simon arrived to install it. Rating: 10/10 for knowledge of product, competent and efficient at installing both items on his own, cleaned up after himself and ensured I was aware to contact them if any queries. Will happily deal with this company again. Price of the items, installation and removal of old product was less than I expected so that was an added bonus. Thank you Joe. You deserve a raise. x

Dec 02,2023I bought a safety helmet which was sent to me in disassembled condition but when I tried to assemble it the strap belongs to different model and would not fit on the helmet. I tried many times to contact but no response. The customer service very poor and only contact online cant even go to the store to return. people should be very careful buying things on Trade Depot
