I have had nothing but frustration when dealing with this company. $2000+ later and I have no product and little care from staff that respond once and then ignore any future Enquiries. I cannot get hold of anyone willing to help me

Oct 02,2023We purchased an oven LPG with gas top and electric oven from them was ordered as LPG oven but we had to get it converted The electric oven was not fit for purpose as hinge was broken and the door would not close We have sent emails and pics to them but the person we have been dealing with (Roger) refuses to answer any communications We are an elderly couple and find it extremely hard to trust these big companies

Sep 29,2023Very very very bad service.I will suggest if you want good and long-term products never go to Trade Depot. Very bad customer service.not trustworthy. They are selling faulty products and then even do not accept them. Waste time on repair still not dirt out problem. Trade depot Hamilton I went and too a bad experience. I do not want somebody else to suffer. When they sell they are different when we tell them the product is faulty they make excuses. every day they will call you to convince you as they think others have no mind. They sell you in deals but when they know one product is faulty they convince you to keep the other even though we paid in the deal. Salespersons speak lies at the time of selling that the product will not be damaged in the next 10 years. but it will not work even for 1 and a half months start doing problems.

Sep 29,2023Contacted Joe to arrange to get stove and cooktop installed. I had received items in August but had held off booking install til items were fully paid for. Joe was able to advise cost to install both units and take old ones away. Lovely customer service. Will do final review once units are unpacked and installed.

Sep 29,2023Do not deal with this business. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I have returned an item to trade depot weeks ago, they have not refunded my money and will not respond to any communications. Very poor service.

Sep 27,2023ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! ordered several items online beginning of September. Still waiting on them to arrive. Have called numerous times and keep being told different days or that I need to wait 24-48hours and nothing shows up. NO ONE knows what's going on. I have never dealt with a company so incompetent. Will be requesting a refund.

Sep 26,2023Placed an order on 26 July, shower was on back order and not due to be dispatched until 4th August. The toilet was in stock and ready to be dispatched. I received the shower in parts over the next few weeks following the order. The toilet was dispatched in mid August but only the cistern arrived. Waited another week just in case it turned up. Nothing. Contacted Mainfreight who advised it had been sent back to TD due to damage and that TD would organise a replacement. No contact from TD whatsoever regarding this. Contacted them to see what was happening and have been told over and over again they are sorting it, dispatch team will be in touch real soon. Nothing. So disappointed and disgusted in their customer service or lack of and cannot believe how hard it is to get a toilet that I have paid for to be sent. 2 months and still nothing. I would not recommend this company at all. Exploring ways to take this further so it doesn't keep happening to others.

Sep 26,2023I was attracted by the the cheaper prices of appliance but you get what you pay for. Oven, cooking hob, extractor fan have had constant faults and break all the time. Tradedepot service is pretty useless as well. Gave up trying to get the right parts after they sent the wrong one 3 times. Pay a bit more and save yourself all the hassles.

Sep 25,2023Totally Unbelievable!! Yesterday I returned a front panel for an inwall cistern I had purchased finding it was the wrong one from Auckland Branch and I found it was not compatible with the cistern, all though the new counter person on Saturday was extremely helpful whom I purchased it from. Sunday on returning this front panel I delt with the worst shop assistant you could imagine. He was of indian decent and implied that because this was incorrectly purchased that was my problem and he informed me of this 3 times in a firm voice. I asked for his name but he refused. After telling him I had researched there site and found a compatible front panel which I wanted to swap with and he told me "no stock" so I displayed this item to him on my phone which showed stock in all 3 branches. At this stage he stopped communicating with me and went and got one from the stock. he returned and said "check" I beleaved this would work but there was a $4 refund he had to give me so he said "account number" so I gave him my bank account number twice... so while I wasn't watching he cancelled the refund. I have checked with my bank and no such payment was made. I have no intention of dealing with this company while this staff member is still employed with them.

Sep 18,2023Horrible company. Please don’t purchase anything from this company. Poor products, poor communication, it will turn into a very long arduous process, please don’t waste your precious time. Impossible to actually get an answer from anybody, get hung up on, messages never returned, I don’t know how the heck they are still in business. I wish I had read reviews prior to dealing with them. If I could rate them with a negative number of stars I would.

Ordered bathroom vanity off them , ended up waiting a few weeks before asking what the go was - out of stock I was told after the website said it was in stock so I emailed asking if another particular model was in stock to which they said yes, so I ordered, a few weeks later I'm told it's out of stock, has been over 2 months now and have only received partial refund - manager won't return my calls and I still have no bathroom vanity! Would not recommend trade depot

Aug 24,2023We returned several items to Trade Depot a month ago, since then we've been waiting on our refund. We've phoned several times and been told the refund will be processed 'within the next 24-48 hours', then it doesn't turn up. Tried contacting them on Facebook, also no result. Incredibly frustrating and preventing us from completing renovations

Aug 23,2023I have had the worst experience with this company, I brought a fridge in May faulty condensation cascading down the back, they said it was normal, their solution after I said no was to send new seal, no difference. Long story short have now waited 35 days for them to pick up , they will not refund until they have it back. Over 30 emails and 20 calls wont let me speak to anyone in management. I still have the faulty fridge. I am so upset and frustrated.

Aug 22,2023I got blocked out of my home by a delivery that was delivered on the wrong day. I was Unable to get trade depot to respond to phone calls webchat emails messages. Spent a whole day with no success. Resulted in me being blocked out of my house by a delivery that I didn't order for that day. I had to get movers in so I could get into my home. If they had negative stars these guys would get one or two

Aug 11,2023Bought a dishwasher and it started getting rusty less than a year after purchase. Finding a way to contact the company was a pain and when I finally did, they did nothing to help. Will never go here again.

Aug 05,2023I bought a chest freezer on 17/07/23 and 19 days now Iam still waiting for the item. Have made 2 calls to enquire. They both saying it’s coming from Hamilton which is 1 hour away. It shouldn’t take this long? Very poor customer service

Oct 03,2023We recently contacted Trade Depot about a dishwasher repair. We spoke with Yvonne in Hamilton and whilst they couldn't help with the repair Yvonne went out of her way to help us. Yvonne spent time finding an Auckland based repairer and provided us with their phone number. The repair was successful all due to Yvonne taking the time to assist us. Well done Yvonne your help is much appreciated.
