Worst customer service. Waiting for replacement fridge (under Warranty for 2 months). Now major issues getting delivery. No one responds and I keep getting text saying delivery on way and does not show up. No one knows whats going on there. No one responds ontime to emails.
I had a problem with an oven purchased some time ago. I managed to get hold of someone after a lot of hassles and was promised a repairman would come to have a look. 8 weeks later still no contact and unable to get on line or talk to anyone after many attempts. I ended up going into the Christchurch store and spoke with Sam Fairbrass in the office, explained my problem and 5 hours later a repairman came and fixed my oven (a very minor problem). If all the staff were like her there would be no arguments or complaints. Well done Sam you're a credit to the company with your attitude and efficiency. Go well girl.
I placed an online order on the 24th of July. On the 28th of July I received an email saying my order had been scanned and out for delivery. It gave me an estimated date that my order should be arriving on the 31st of July. It didn’t come that day. The next day I checked on the tracking and it pretty much went from saying it was out for delivery to “arranging delivery” I don’t know if my order was even out for delivery in the first place now. It’s been almost 2 weeks since making my order. How long does it really take?
Terrible customer service team. Budget quality items . Wish I never brought a fridge from there it stoped working after 2 weeks and now it’s been almost 3 months and still not working the customer service is terrible haven’t sorted anything.please please don’t buy anything from there!!!
honestly, the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. i had an item on back order, received a text stating it would be delivered today. if not available to email the truck (address given) and i asked if delivery could be by a certain time as i had work. waited and waited todY and nothing . rung TD (waited over 1/2 hr) and lady said she would cancel todays delivery and reschedule. asked me hold the line and she then hung up. whilst i was at work, i received a call advising the truck would be at my place in 20 mins , so the lady didn’t cancel the delivery at all, i explained the situation and the driver said he could reschedule only the office can. an hour or two later another text stating truck would be at mine in 10 mins, then another text stating i missed the delivery……. tried contacting TD , can’t speak to a human, emails take days to answer and no agents online to help. left message on messenger but says there team are small and will get back to me within 24-48 hours!!!!! i rung the delivery driver who stated he is a 3rd part delivery agent and only the office can organise delivery, still don’t know when i am getting my washing machine !!!! you’ve had my money for 6 weeks and i still haven’t anything to show for it
We bought some items on the 8th June from Hamilton and asked to put onto the interest free terms. They put it on a 3 months rather than 2 years so said they would reverse and reload the items on Q card. Noticed they hadn't reverse the 1st so rang them to sort out and assured they would. After multiply emails and calls which they never reply to or ignore you it still needs to be sorted. Q card told us they should be able to do this with ease. Trade depot told us they couldn't and they would put it onto our bank card and we would have to sort out the Q card. Overall comms and them trying to ignore us seem to be a trend and basically they have a hope you will go away if they do not sort this out. Still currently over $600 out of pocket and getting very frustrated with the total lack of customer service. Update, still no contact from Trade Depot as promised in the reply. This sort of goes along with my experience in dealing with them.
Ordered a washing machine which is in stock local Wednesday morning for click and collect, it's now Saturday evening and still not ready for pickup. Click and collect should be same day, at worst next day... Delivery would have probably been quicker. It's a washing machine, nobody orders these because they have time to wait around... If I knew how I'd cancel the order and buy from somewhere else
I had an extremely bad purchase and customer service experience recently. To begin with, I purchased a dishwasher in May, along with installation and removal of the old machine. However, the delivery took nearly a week, and the installation service never happened. Despite sending them nearly 30 emails to address the problem, their reply was always the same: "we are processing your request." Frustrated with the lack of progress, I decided to request a refund since I found someone else who could install and remove the old machine. The situation took a ridiculous turn when the new machine arrived with a clear dent on its surface, and it was not working at all. I had to contact their after-sales team to seek a resolution. During this waiting period, I also requested a refund for the installation charge since I did not receive the service. However, they delayed the refund process until July. To make matters worse, I discovered that the reason for the delay in processing my refund was because they did not have my account number. I couldn't believe that such a simple request took so long to resolve. After numerous communications and wasted time, I finally received the refund, and they sent someone to fix the machine. Based on this terrible experience, I would never recommend them to anyone!
SWIFT REMEDIAL ACTION We had a delay with our order. However, the Retail Manager Sachin Vohra was very apologetic and very quick to remedy the problem. He was professional, empathic and very easy to deal with. The company are very lucky to have him.
I wish I read the reviews on this company before purchasing. Ordering online was a breeze of course because that’s the payment part. I received 3 delivery notifications to say my fridge would be delivered on 30th June, driver will call 30 minutes before arrival, also confirmed by CS (20-30 min wait time) I took the day off work to wait for delivery never arrived and no phone call from driver or CS to advise delay. I had to go to work the next day, received a notification txt from a no reply number at midday driver is 10 minutes away. I couldn’t call the driver to tell him I’m not home. I went home after work and was in absolute shock to see my fridge on the driveway! It had been sitting there for 6 hours and no contact from driver to say he’s left it on driveway. WTH Trade Depot! This driver should be fired! This was your driver it was a TD truck sort your drivers out. Do they expect customers to be sitting at home all day everyday waiting with no communication? Negative zero star would never buy from these people again.
Purchased vacuum recently. Need replacement brushes already. Unable to have any contact or reply from them.
Purchased a shower over three weeks ago and chose free delivery option. Took over a week to be delivered and delivered in torn packaging with parts missing. Contacted them and asked for replacement due to damage has been two weeks and I am still waiting for them to collect having spent many hours with them asking for more evidence - have given them photos and security camera footage of condition of package - and now they tell me they are going to charge me for the return freight. If someone ever turns up to collect it I have serious doubts that we will even get a refund. Never again will I deal with this company.
Bought a tumble dryer, wanting to use in first week we bought it and tumble dryer doesn't work. Took it back in same week. Got there informed me they will have a technician look at it and then decide if repairable or have to replace. How do you buy a new product and then they tell you they have to check if it can be repaired. If you bought a new product it needs to be replaced immediately or refunded. If I new this will be the case I would have gone and buy one at any other store.
Bought new gas hob just not even month ago. It stopped working. Dealing with customer service is such a mess no one is answering the calls such a pathetic customer service. would never recommend anyone to buy the product from them. I am thinking of the returning the product if not sorted
The customer service provided to resolve my order error was outstanding. After placing an order in-store, I realized that a few items were ordered incorrectly and required changes. Magda from the customer service team promptly followed up on my inquiry, reaching out to me through both phone and email. Thanks to her efforts, the matter was successfully resolved within just a few days.
Had purchased instore before. 'BS' online trading. Ordered a product online with an available status of the product . Got an email confirmation of the product was on the way. It is a month now. Later I contacted them, getting no response, was told it will be delivered on the 8th of June 2023. Today, was advised will be the 15th of June, because they are still waiting for the shipment. Why the 'F' mislead a customer with an available status of the product on the website, notifying product on its way response, then advising the delay, just to find out the product was not in stock to start with. 'FBS' that is all I have to say. I thought the tradedepot had a reputation, but their online is crap. I have emailed for a refund via email. Wondering if I will get a refund and if so when?
Appalling service bought a toilet that was in stock but nope it wasn’t so they will deliver it still waiting 5 weeks later no communication and everytime I try and contact them I’m on hold for over 20mins, their live chat doesn’t work. Absolutely disgusting!! Not worth it and the toilet was actually cheaper somewhere else I want my money back but can’t get hold of them. Will never go there again!!!!
Purchased a 718L freezer were told there would be a 6 week wait as it was coming from Hamilton supposed to have been in christchurch Saturday now monday told it won't be here till august getting a refund absolutely hopeless
Trade depot hamilton does not have a phone number you can't even talk to any one in store to confirm If they have a product or not . They have a nz wide contact number which goes to auckland and they said hamilton sells everything auckland sells . They don't
