I have contacted this company twice to dispute an incorrect loan on my account - as I paid this loan off in February this year and I’m currently trying to get my credit score up to get a mortgage. They’ve basically said we’ve had no contact from the company so we’re not removing it and you need to contact the company yourself 🤬 The funny thing is the company did originally respond to say the loan was assigned to another company - and transunion haven’t bothered to change it to this company or contact this company- because if they did they would know the debt was paid off. As when I rang the company they were a bit confused as to why I’m ringing about a closed account. What are these people paid for?!? When I have to do pretty much everything myself just to clear a debt that shouldn’t be on my score anymore. They also told me I hadn’t put a dispute in after months of trying to get a response and so I put another dispute in and they’ve been as useless as the first time I contacted them. Absolutely useless company thanks for nothing. Thanks transunion for causing me more stress and anxiety. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I will be putting in a massive complaint to the financial ombudsman.

Terrible - Applied for credit but was Declined, which was a surprise as Experian and Equifax both give me a excellent ratings. The finance company used Transunion as the credit check agency, who cant even supply me a credit score as they cant verify me, even tho ive been in the same address for 10 years. Tried calling but keep pointing me back to their unhelpful website. God knows what impact this will cause on my future credit.

This company used to be Call Credit and I used them for a long time. However although I have terminated my subscription and they have agreed that I have, they still keep sending me invoices. I have complained but they will not stop sending them.

This company should be struck off. They ignore all communiation to correct false information. Total scum bags. I have informed the financial ombudsman so hopefully they will have more luck In the end I got them to correct the data. So with this lot the lesson is persist and dont give up

Despite providing ALL my personal details for requesting a home test kit TransUnion was unable to confirm my identity on three occasions - terrible service.

TransUnion just does not care. I realised that my credit report is still being generated with my previous address and as result I am not on the electoral roll even though I voted in the last general election at my current address. I have written to TransUnion to make the changes but has yet to get even an acknowledgement.

Good app and getting your statutory credit report is so very easy.

I have tried many times to get the information on my credit report changed. I cannot raise a dispute online as they have my address wrong as well as saying I am not on the electoral register! If they have my old address they are not likely to find me on the electoral register! I have finally resorted in sending a recorded letter. Unfortunately looking at many of the unhappy reviews on here I am not sure it will ever be sorted. I included my phone no but God forbid they would ring me to check on the bad customer service I have received. Not impressed. My credit report should be better than good if they had the correct information on file. Useless

They take an extremely long time to update your information so basically the information that is reported is incorrect and out of date. The worst in comparison to Experian and Equifax.

After getting refused credit at a furniture store, knowing my count is good I decided to investigate further. Hitachi credit used Call Credit to search me, I looked up Call Credit but they no longer exist but now trade as Transunion? After looking into why I was refused I was given the opportunity to apply for free for a credit report. I answered the questions and as suspected after reading other reviews they could not supply a report as they could not identify me? Hitachi asked me to write to Call Credit aka Transunion for an explanation, and to obtain a report? Easier said than done! I was so angry at the decision I decided for the heck of it to purchase an iPad from a well known retailer and although I could just pay cash I decided to apply for a little interest free credit, not only was I accepted I was given a very generous limit? So in conclusion my advice is simple, if you can avoid these clowns then you be wise to do so!! One review says I would not trust them to find his dog, I doubt they could find themselves out of a paper bag!

Useless. Every time I raise a dispute about things on my credit report, I get a standard reply: "The data supplier hasn't responded to your dispute. We can't change an entry without the permission of the organisation responsible for supplying it, so we can't help you further with this dispute. We'd advise you to contact the supplier directly to discuss this matter. The disputed entry will remain suppressed from your credit report. However, please bear in mind that the supplier can remove the suppression at any time." Even when I provide evidence from the organisations that provide have provided information to TransUnion, proving that I`m right and the issue should be resolved on my report, I get the reply above. It`s absolutely impossible to deal with TransUnion, as it`s like talking to a wall. Some serious improvements must be made on the communications side and the response time should be reduced. 45-60 days for response it`s not aceptable.

Been trying for 3 months to get them to update my record to confirm I AM on the electoral roll, since July 2019 but to no avail. They say it is resolved and will update but it never does. Also state my incorrect address despite my updating on their website. They are a complete liability and prejudicial to someone being given a fair assessment for credit. The sickening part is that Natwest is use them🤦 Update: Just had the usual response that it’s not TransUnion at fault. Both Experian and Equifax have my correct address and confirmation of electoral roll registration, so this excuse doesn’t wash. Also you can update your address on Credit Karma, which is operated by Trans Union. Would you believe they have also just dropped my actual score in the last 2 days, despite paying off credit card last month and not missing any other payments. So can only be the electoral roll being a negative item. Absolutely pointless system and hate to see what happens when you actually don’t make payments. In response to TransUnion: As you point out, it is your data Credit Karma is using and I have been dealing with TransUnion directly to resolve the issues on my account. Still not resolved despite e-mail assurances that all will be corrected at the next update, however it is never done. You are the equivalent of handing over your credit card to a fraudster and hoping they manage it properly on your behalf. Don’t try and pass responsibility for your prejudicial neglect of an individual’s credit data on to Credit Karma. If you can’t properly manage such important sensitive data, that has potentially huge impact on an individual’s financial standing, then you shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near it! You can use all the excuses you want, but TransUnion are the problem!

I attempted, like a fool, to obtain a credit report from the so called TransUnion But I can’t, can I ? Because there level of competence has not been able to verify Me. A PERSON WITH ONE SET OF NAMES in seven decades WHO HAS BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH ONE ADDRESS in the same seven decades I once performed some intelligence work whilst in the forces. And working in a foreign country Part of which involved locating unsavoury characters who did not want to be found. I did it using very old and tried and tested techniques Clearly unknown by the so called TransUnion So based on my experience I SHOULD NOT TRUST IT TO FIND A LOST DOG UPDATE AT 15:38 hrs 23rd APRIL 2020 This is their pathetic reply. Read it and then see my ' analysis ' Reply from TransUnion UK 3 hours ago Hi We are sorry to see you cannot access your data. Obviously we have security measures in place to ensure only the right person sees your data, but without looking at your personal situation we cannot see where the problem may be. We'd like to help you get your report. You can get in touch with us by emailing ********@*********.co.uk or on the phone at 0330 024 7574. We are available Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. Kind regards TransUnion What's this ' Hi ' Do they mean ' Hello ' They are stupid as well as incompetent. Data ? What data ? I'm not data. I'm a person. Who has been associated with ONE ADDRESS and ONE NAME for very nearly THREE QUARTERS OF A CENTURY And they could n't 'VERIFY' me Try practising by looking for lost dogs Wuff wuff Joking aside . They are probably charging good companies exorbitant amounts. Whilst exhibiting this level of ' professionalism ' I will now award them MINUS one star

Appalling, holding wrong information, can't contact anyone. I have disputed infromation and tried to cancel subscription, but if I cancel they will nit take the dispute any further, nor will they remove, even though they are holding the wrong information. This is clearly a scam !! I have today written to the financial ombusdeman and BBC Watchdog. DO NOT USE !! They have just responded asking to call their number which I have been trying to do all morning , you just get recordeded messages. They are saying they will help but they won't . I have read reviews on facebook, clearly a scam. Reported them to all major news papers

Completely pathetic - I've been able to check my report with all other credit providers in the UK with ease. For TransUnion, the sign up system is so pathetically designed I cannot access the report due to it being 'unable to verify my identity'. The only resolution is a postal form where you fill in your previous addresses - I mean this is something all other agencies require on sign-up, why do they need this information to be POSTED for the account to be verified? It is like they are doing everything possible to ensure you cannot see your credit report. Completely pathetic.

So far, I have found the customer-service advisors to be really quite helpful in moving along my queries. However, I feel there are some issues with the website and automation on the phone-system - which can make the process frustrating. But when you speak to a *real* person, they are good!

All I wanted was for them to take the electoral register information within a reasonable timescale. I sent them the info 3 times they resolved my query and made no amendments at all.. despite an email saying they had updated my information. They also reset the window for a new credit report. Out of the 3 agencies this one was by far the worst. I have just noticed all the very suspicious “Trudy was great” I couldn’t get to speak to a person just emails signed “TransUnion” where are you Trudy? Amy?
