I had a unknown item on my credit report which appreard form 2013, but this only showed in August 2019. It was all my details but not my item I contacted transUnion and they really helped me an resolve this. Thank you sooo much so helpful. Now I can sleep at night
I emailed a question on a credit application I had made and very quickly received a reply from Annabelle in customer service. The information she supplied was very clear and it was a detailed reply covering all the points I raised.
I had a company address added to my account and despite them being useless Credit Karma have sorted it out for me.
I was robbed by a company whereby they took unauthorised money from my card. The bank First Direct refused to repay the stolen funds, so much for buyer protection. This caused a default on the card as it was not being used, kept at at zero balance. Many years went by and countless threats of action and letters. Eventually I decided to just pay this to remove the blot on my credit history. Even after paying this amount that should never have been charged to my card and raising several investigations to establish that this had now been cleared, (Noodle) Credit Karma failed to recognise that this had been done. After many emails and sending proof to them which should have never have been necessary, eventually this was corrected by Transunion. Apparently there are so many errors on people’s credit reports it’s no joke.
Transunion Alias Call Credit Alias Credit Karma. Whichever guise they come under, this is a very sinister Company posing as a so called friendly Credit reference agency which frankly is unfit for purpose. Why? Because all they want to do is sell you credit on false pretences. All these Credit agencies seem to be affiliated to New Day Credit and as such they all have the same answers. They will offer 19% APR for a credit card and when you apply you end up with 45% APR and that is with a good credit score. There is something very afoot here and me thinks these people are nothing more than loan sharks disguised as a credit reference agency. So all of you ignore their emails because they are a waste of time. Lastly God help you all if you have a complaint against TransUnion as I have one that is ongoing now for several months. Don't hold your breath for a resolve. You wont get one. It took me 12 months for the last we made that was eventually upheld by the FOS. These people have a problem with the facts....

Well I come across an issue, and make contact with transunion, and I'm pleased to say, the problem was sold within the month, they kept me updated within that month, very happy with the service. So thanks John Verhees.
Very happy with the service provided in sorting out an issue with my credit rating which had dropped owing to a delayed first payment by direct-debit which was then classified as being ‘behind on payments’. Not my fault as I’d provided all necessary bank details in good time. First time I’ve ever had any such problem in over 60 years. I didn’t have to do anything and the problem was resolved efficiently and quickly by direct contact with the lender on my behalf. I’m convinced that it would have taken a lot longer to try and resolve it myself. My rating is now almost back to the previous value and should reach full correction within a month or two. I am very happy with the advice and subsequent service that I received.
I sent in a query it was replied to very quickly I still had a question sent it back to Trudy who gave the answer and also told me how to do it..great customer service.

Molly from the Ombudsman was so prompt in contacting me and dealing with my complaint. Due to my emotions running high over the months trying to resolve the issue and getting no explanation of the problem or contact requested. It was reassuring to have someone with knowledge of the law independently look at the issue and advise on the options I had in a fair manner.
Laura was extremely helpful and followed up my inquiry and promptly replied when things had been sorted out.
