Absolutely negative. Whilst I was explaining my case to the operator they hung up on me !!! Ridiculous
According to Trans Union I opened a bank current account in 1964.......I was 3 years old at the time so banking probably didn't feature in my thoughts!!!
Shocking to say the least...!!! Worst of a bad lot!! Shambles is the only phrase, not even worth one star ššš
This list should be banned at credit reporting . Emailed them several times as the system suddenly says it can not confirm my ID even though nothing has changed . I have 3 requests from credit agencies to remove or amend reports on my credit file that have not been done! Terrible terrible company!
Bad company, bad service I can't understand how banks use such bad companies....
With no defaults whatsoever and residing at the same address for over 25 years just trying to open a bank account is blocked by wrong records of this company. What these records are I don't know. Nor am I told. Is there any regulatory body in place for this at all? And how about the distress, time invested, and loss of earnings associated with the wrong records which were compiled and recorded by the authority of whom? A total disgrace and a waste of time. Any company relying on records of this apparently incompetent party have lost my business right now.
Your transparency is the worst level it has ever been. You fiddle with credit scores without validation. It was a problem from the other end and you take it on the individuals. Everyone needs to be onguard with you. Your institution needs to be reviewed. You need to be regulated and stop messing around people's credibility.
Effing Prats.... they cant resolve a simple issue like a correct date of residing at my current address..... not mentioning the fact that my score jumped from excellent to "fair" out of the blue with no change at all in my personal finances...... and then back to excellent after I complainedā¦. they do what they wantā¦ā¦playing with peoples moneyā¦ā¦. they should all be fired / company closed down since they do more harm than goodā¦.
TrustUnion's electoral register database is totally incorrect TrustUnion's database told me that I'm not listed on the electoral register despite having received postal votes at my home address. Companies like this just end up wasting people's time with needless bureaucracy,
Experian made me aware at the start of the year that I have one account in default from 2017, on the TransUnion page it states that I have 3 accounts in default? I have emailed them asking where they have got their data from and have heard nothing back, do people even work there? Absolutely disgusted with their customer service
Absolutely awful, I have held a high credit score with Experian for most of my adult life they seem to capture all my loans, bank accounts, cards etc. Transunion on the otherhand has not even managed to find the basics like electoral roll, mortgage, which cards I currently hold, how are they allowed to provide credit scores when they can't even find basic details... I tried contacting them, they want me to provide all the evidence and contact my mortgage provider on their behalf... surely it is up to them to make sure they have the correct details?!?!
Looks like my experience with this useless lot is a bad as everyone else's. How are they permitted to continue operating in the UK? I have been trying since March this year to get them to fix the faulty credit record they have for me, which has caused me endless problems with loan companies chasing me for someone elseās debt. Thankfully, though it took 14 months in one case, these have been resolved. But I have a suspicion that their dud records stopped me getting credit for an interest free loan for a new boiler. Months and months of unanswered emails about the problem and then one saying that they had opened a āCustomer Complaintā after a particularly strongly worded email. Despite having previously provided comprehensive details about my address and so on they asked for it all AGAIN. I duly replied within minutes of the email back on June 28th. Today I received an email stating, because I hadnāt provided them with the requested information, (I DID!!) they were closing the complaint and STILL NOTHING about correcting the original credit record problem. What is incredibly annoying is that they amass all this information about you but you have NO control at all over what they have and how they use it. My plan is now to report this appalling organisation to the FCA. Though I suspect others have already done that with no effect. So, what can I do? Give up I guess ā¹ As someone else has said, āThank heaven for Experianā. Shame you can't give zero stars or negative!!
TrustUnion's database told me that I'm not listed as on the electoral register despite having received postal votes at my home address for over seven years! Companies like this just end up wasting people's time with needless bureaucracy,
Trying to raise dispute from credit karma transunion won't let you absolutely rubbish service Steve r
Thank goodness for Experian! I have excellent credit, but transunion is jeopardising this! They have me at an incorrect address with no electoral roll registration, bank account agreed was never opened and removed from my account by Experian and closed by the bank, they have it as open! Itās been weeks since I opened the dispute, nothing!!! Iām reporting to the FCA and financial ombudsman!!
CallCredit no longer exists. The Skipton Building Society sold it to TransUnion in Jan 2018. TransUnion have ruined it by failing to update Electoral Roll data (unlike Experian and Equifax) and on TrustPilot.co.uk are listed as TransUnion.co.uk Please complain there and to the regulators, the FCA and ICO. If you are after compensation and a correction, complain to the Financial Ombudsman service. They have awarded compensation for each Electoral Roll inaccuracy to the complainant and forced TransUnion to correct.
Bunch of clowns providing false info on credit report! Been three months on electoral register and they still canāt figure it out and stating Iām notš
Just issued legal proceedings against Transunion and Vodaphone for Ā£3000 each for falsely reporting me as a bad debtor. They canāt ignore the courts. Itās cost me Ā£115 in court fees and I canāt see how they can defend it as I can back all the information up with paperwork. A judge wonāt be fooled. I suggest you all do it.
Pi$$ poor company that needs shuting down!!!
Phil
Jan 03,2023Just had a credit report from a Card company I have been with for years. It states that someone who has the same first name as me but a different surname, with a different date of birth, different address and lives about 200 miles from me, defaulted on payments to two companies 5 and 3 years ago. Trans Union have allocated the debt to ME! I have complained to my card company and now Trans Union inform me they will look into it over the next 10 weeks! I would not trust this company for anything and will be complaining to the Ombudsman regarding the blatant misinformation they provide. I will also be looking into financial compensation and suggest that others do the same!
