Jul 18,2023We stayed at a Villatel property at the Solterra Resort in Davenport FL. I will start with the good things. The house was exactly as represented on the website. It was clean, the beds were made, the towels were plentiful. There were plenty of dish ware and silverware, both plastic and glass. We were a family of 14 including 6 kids ages 2-9. The showers were great, nice and strong. Now for the not so great stuff. This resort is party central, which we were unaware of. So many large groups partying all day and all night. Cars were parked all over the sidewalk, grass and street, including in front of our rental home. As for the pool and clubhouse area, there is basically minimal parking. If you dont there at opening time, you cannot park. Our home was close to a mile away, and walking in the 100 degree weather was not an option. Additionally the pool had a very gangish type vibe due to the very large groups there. It was clean and well kept, however due to the parking situation and the vibe, we only went one time. Now for the home. I loved how it was appointed. It housed all of us very comfortably with its 10 bedrooms. Lots of games for the kids, but several of them were broken and unusable. The movie room was not really usable. The sound would not work, at full volume it was like a whisper. Many of the chairs were broken. The pool was nice, it was clean. However the deck area needs a good power washing. And the pool cleaner came in the middle of the day while we were all in the pool and we had to get out for over an hour. Not acceptable. Come early or come late, but dont interrupt our day. On another day, the pool cleaners came and added water to the pool with the hose, but forgot to turn it off. We were not home. When we got back the pool was overflowing. We opted to rent the gas grill offered through Villatel. Save your money and dont do it. The grill was unusable. It would not heat above 350 degrees and the gas line leaked. As for cooking in the kitchen, it is oddly unequipped for a house that sleeps 24. There was enough dishes glasses and silverware, but there was minimal cookware. It was difficult to prepare food for 14 with what was there. I dont know how you would do it with a larger group. Having 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers was a great thing, and we did appreciate that. And finally, check out was at 10 am, however the cleaners were there at 9. Overall, a great home for large groups. However beware of this particular resort community. And beware that not everything in the house works.

Jul 17,2023Our rental was beautiful however the sheets in every bedroom was soiled. My sheets had to dead bugs as well as someone’s body fluid. The grill was filthy and I don’t understand why there is an additional charge to warm the pool. This was our second time staying in that community and we had the same issues from that time. Make it make sense?

Jul 13,2023Our stay was amazing. The house was brand new with very nice kitchen appliances and decor. The kids loved all the games and movie room. Our 3 year old son loves the Star Wars bunk room with a slide going down. The house was clean and tidy with the exception of red carpet stains in the master bedroom that were difficult to ignore. It was also unfortunate that the playground right outside our house was closed. Our smaller kids were really sad about that. Otherwise we will definitely be staying here for our next Disney world/Florida vacation. It will be hard for us to ever stay in a hotel again.

Jul 12,2023We enjoyed living in your extraordinary home away from home for a whole week. You are doing everything right. It was clean not a bug in sight. I really loved the adult only area within the home (the bar area). I enjoyed my quiet time away from everyone in the movie theater. I must say watching action movies on the BIG SCREEN is breathtaking. We most definitely will be booking with you all again. Thanks for helping my family make some lovely memories together.

Jul 11,2023Our family enjoyed the theatre room, they put on two family shows. The garbage disposal seems to have a shortage in the shutdown. The children enjoyed the pool area every moment for 4days.

Jul 11,2023All around it was a 5/5 experience. The maintenance crew checked in even though there weren’t any problems, the trash pick up for everyday was excellent and the amenities were just great. There’s a new high score war going on in basketball for the family now because the game room is on point!

I was disappointed in the fact that our game room ac was out and we weren't able to enjoy that room as much as we liked, our ice maker did not work and the guy said he would bring us ice and never did...poor wifi and the place was far from beaches...

Jul 10,2023Kids lived the ship bedroom. The theatre room and pool were awesome and well used. Loved having a master suite on the first floor. Overall an awesome vacation experience! We would have used a kuerig coffee maker. We suggest privacy fences or thick shrubbery on both ends of the pool to create a bit more privacy.

Jul 08,2023I enjoyed staying at the Magic Mansion. It was very clean and new and tastefully decorated. The pool was great and the game room was fun. A few issues I had were: the kitchen needed glass storage containers for leftovers. I would have appreciated a garage though because my car heated up to 108 degrees each time I had to go outside. I also had an issue with my shower door needing repair it was leaking water onto the floor. I ended up moving bedrooms and it was repaired after I moved. The location is not near Disney in traffic but you have to accommodate for that. Overall I believe it is a great value.

Jul 08,2023The house was beautiful and the pool and hot tub made every night of our stay enjoyable. There were a few issues but Charo was so amazing with listening, allowing me to vent, and getting issues resolved and offered great compensation for the inconveniences. My only suggestion would be to have more pots and pans. For such a large space, additional pots pans were needed. Overall, it was an AMAZING experience.

Jul 06,2023We stayed at Cosmic Castle in Davenport, FL It was a very spacious house, with plenty of play space and a nice theater room. The parking was not adequate for our large family, but we were able to use the nearby overflow. Issues we had were ice makers did not work on either fridge, but friendly technicians came right away to bring us a portable ice machine. A bit of extra work to constantly be filling and emptying it, but at least we had ice! Also, we had continual problems with the wifi/tv reception. Again, the very courteous guest service folks called Spectrum over and over to come out and help resolve the issues. Overall, our family had a wonderful vacation, and enjoyed the house!

Jul 05,2023Absolutely amazing! This house has it all, and being right on the beach is a plus! The house was clean and well-appointed and the bedrooms have a perfect set-up for our needs. The beach was beautiful with very few people, and the sunrise was stunning! The theater was a nice addition and we used it every night. Communication with the management company was easy & responsive. We look forward to returning to this awesome beach house!

The only suggestion I would make for the house itself would be to add blinds or curtains in the gathering areas. It felt less private with the house next door having a clear view of the kitchen, dining, and living room. Outside of that, no complaints at all!
