The house we stayed in really met our needs and was a lot of fun. We loved the theatre room. There were some things that weren't perfect but the management company and Villatel took care of those pretty well. When I saw that Jeeves was the rental company I was worried as I read many bad reviews. That was not our experience at all, they did a nice job responding to us. My biggest issue with the home was the partying going on around us. Every night there was loud, big parties at houses next to us or near us. In fact, one section of our party left Sunday at 4 am. On their way out of the development, there were about 60 people partying in the streets. They moved slowly to allow for their vehicle to pass through. There were cars on both sides of the streets and in the Suburban they rented they could barely get through this throng of people partying at the early hours of the am. In pulling out of the neighborhood, there was a sheriff sitting in a car around the corner keeping an eye on the gathering. I am sure it was too big for him to break up safely. On a family vacation I would not stay in this development again. If you want a party atmosphere and are okay with loud parties near you, this is the place for you.
Beautiful, clean home and community! Easy access to resort area as well as Disney and the parks and the convention center due to being centrally located in the middle of it all. Villatel host was quick to respond to any messages. Will stay again!
Overall, the house was amazing and a fantastic option for a large group of extended family. We would definitely stay again. There were little things however that were quirky yet the property management came quickly to address. The parking however was crazy. We were told ONLY two cars and we could ONLY parking the driveway. The funny thing about that is that there were SOOO many cars parked all over the place in the community. Some houses had 4+ cars creatively parked in, on, and around the property. So that was inconsistent and confusing. The video games and activity table were definitely fun but they were SOOO LOUD and we could not find a way to turn the volume down. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay and we would definately recommend it to all!
The house is spacious and beautifully appointed. However, one washcloth for two people for one week is ridiculous! Two hand towels and three bath towels is also insufficient. No Kleenex, no paper towels, no salt or pepper. Two dishwasher tabs, one coffee filter. All of these are outrageously insufficient for the number of guests in this house. Only being allowed to place one garbage bag each day is also difficult. Everything else has been wonderful and we will rent here again.
This was my best vacation ever, the house was beautiful and clean it has anything you can imagine to have fun. My family had a blast, I can’t wait to do it again
Everything was great with the house except parking. It was crazy how i rented a 10 bedroom villa and had only 2 secured parking spaces. Other cars were parked Right in front of the villa that I was renting which meant I had to park way down the street due to villatel telling me parking spaces were first come first serve.
We enjoyed a family gathering for one of our children's gender review. The Villatel home housed all 5 of our families comfortably and lived up to its promise of a safe environment during COVID 19, with all the amenities. The pool, outside kitchen, sports room, spacious rooms, fun kids theme bedrooms and arcade room were enjoyed by everyone! We felt safe and had a great time! There were a couple small issues that were resolved promptly! Planning our next reunion!!!
I stayed at one of their houses and while the house was excellently designed/decorated, the service left me quite disappointed. The pictures you see of their houses look great but you might have problems when you arrive like we did. We arrived to find the theater room in disarray with furniture upside down and a very bad smell. Lights didn't work in a couple of the rooms. There were ants throughout our stay and those ants infested some medically important food for one of the people staying with us. The racing game stopped working while we were there. Handles were loose on a couple of doors. There was unused Spectrum equipment left on the counter when we arrived as well as a missing TV remote to one of the TVs. Some of this stuff isn't a big deal but other things like lights, turned over furniture and bad smells are a big deal. As well as having to figure out how to replace specialized food after it had gotten infested by ants. The frontline office people I talked with while I was there were helpful and tried their best but when I asked to speak with a supervisor my emails and calls weren't returned.
The house itself was lovely and as advertised, though it could use a few more towels. The issue was the incredible noise coming from the neighboring rentals - it would be hard to describe just how terrible it was. We were unable to use the children’s bedrooms in the back of the home (the cute theme ones) because the bass of the music coming from the other homes literally shook the house until approx 3am every single night, and those back rooms were as if the party was inside. The music and shouting/laughing was just insane. We called and tried to ask for help, but nothing was done. Such a shame because otherwise we would love to return.
Went for 10 days and stayed for 4 weeks! Amazing experience. Spotless, high end, great service!
My family and I are very disappointed with Villatel, as we reserved a vacation rental in Kissimmee, Florida since things initially looked good to go during this crazy pandemic until Florida became the new epicenter. Unfortunately, when I spoke with A m i l S. over the phone he was extremely rude and demonizing. I asked to speak with someone higher up or the owner and he stated that he was the owner. Yet upon further research I found out he is not the owner of Villatel. Either way, he informed me that he could not make this change as it is not allowed, although over the phone he mentioned that the family who booked prior changed. Which makes no sense. Was he being discrimination towards my last name... who knows. Either way he was not willing to work with us to reschedule. I kept explaining that our flights were canceled twice! Then beaches, bars, restaurants, etc were/are closing. Just the other day they had over 15k positive cases! I am not risking my families health. He just did not understand or have any empathy to this. He kept saying "I am not trying to be the bad guy."
The home was nice. What they don’t tell you is that the internet and phone service was, at best, BAD. We called/emailed them SEVERAL TIMES. They had the spectrum internet worker come out to “fix” the problem with the internet. As far as I see it, that was just putting us off till we leave. Villatel/Spectrum didn’t NOT correct the problem for the whole month we were there. My kids we’re distance learning and my husband was working remotely, so a internet connection we ABSOLUTLEY a must! We had to leave a few days early so my kids could deal with there school finals. We are very unhappy with $8000 dollars we spent on this home.
I have three children with families. We wanted to go on vacation together for the last few years (there are 16 of us total). Finally we found a week where all our schedules worked and we booked a stay at one of villatel’s homes near Disney. For the week of April 24 thru 30. The Coronavirus made Disney and the other theme parks close. Restaurants are closed, the resort pool, flow rider, health club are closed. Two months before your stay you are required to pay in full the total rental cost. I have paid over $4000.00. Florida is under shelter at home no more than 10 people are allowed to be together. We have 16 people. Villatel will not refund my money. Our airfare,, Disney tickets and rental cars all have been refunded. My vacation doesn’t take place for 3 more weeks! They say that the house is open and we could stay in it. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! They just want money. I’m retired on a fixed income and am out over $4000. Pool heat is extra they don’t tell you this.. A measly $40 per day $280 per week plus taxes and fees.. I have a heated pool in Illinois where I live. My highest bill for pool heat has been $160 for a month. Grill rental is only $85 per week plus taxes and fees.also not told to you.
Our issue also comes during this pandemic. I placed a reservation for April right in the beginning of March. The cancellation policy was nowhere to be found during the reservation on VRBO, but none the less we were not looking to cancel for any reason. Then all the restrictions came down, disney closed. Now the event we were attending is tentative at best and the company will not refund our money. The cancellation policy is 8 weeks and we tried to cancel 7 weeks out due to COVID-19. Been fighting with them ever since. They do not care what the issue is. They have tried to offer credit to be fair, but a credit to an event that will not happen is just taking our money. Given that everyone is going through problems at this time you would think that a refund would be offered considering it is close to $3000. Careful using this company as their customer service and compassion seem to be on the same level. Bottom of the barrel.

We just recently stayed at a Villatel home and I was blown away by how gorgeous the house was! It was extremely clean and so spacious! We spent our days relaxing by the private outdoor pool and the nights in the huge theater room. The houses are great for hosting all your family and friends. We also loved how the kitchen came with everything we needed so we were able to cook instead of having to go eat out. Villatel made everything so convenient and I am so impressed by their hospitality. I will definitely be recommending this company to my family and friends!
March 16, 2020 Stay away! While Villatel may be within legal boundaries, they seriously defy ethical boundaries. We will never use them again. On January 13, 2020 my husband and I booked a large home near Disney for our family of 20 near the end of June 2020.We were so excited! At that time, we had never heard of (and most of the world had never heard of) the coronavirus. We paid a deposit of $1,563.22 on the home. Today, Disney is closed; Florida is under a state of emergency, as is our home state of NC, and many deaths are being reported. Schools are closed and we are in the throes of a universal pandemic. Because my husband and I are senior citizens, and he has had two heart events and a stroke, this disease could be very dangerous for him, particularly. We are virtually in isolation now. I sent several emails to Villatel to see what our options were in canceling. I also called Home Away, which is an umbrella organization for Villatel. Admirably, Home Away did agree to return their portion of the money, $499.00 of the $1,563.22. Finally, on 3/11/'20, I called Villatel at 201-400-0379 and spoke to an agent there. He told me that they had changed their policy and weren't even accepting cancellations at that time. How convenient. I explained our situation of my husband's health issues, Florida's state of emergency, Disney being closed, and our booking being over 3 months away, and my husband's health issues.I told him that he would have to cancel our reservation. He was not rude; but, he did not care. He said they would not be refunding any of the $1,064.22 deposit.Ironically, $495.00 of the money was a "reservation fee" and $570.12 of the money was taxes. Taxes for what? We didn't buy anything. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Amil told me he was a supervisor, and there was nothing they would do. So, they have over $1,000.00 of our money, and because of a pandemic, we get nothing. I, too, am disappointed with Home Away for using a company that does not have a heart. It makes us seriously consider ever using either of these companies again. Yes, we could have hung in there and waited, but with the impending money (over $4,000.00) due on the rest of the home, we felt it would be dangerous with this company, because we would lose that, as well, if the coronavirus didn't magically disappear. These are unusual times; the Villatel people are ripping America off, and it is my hope that the government will intervene and force heartless companies like Villatel to do the right thing under these unpredictable and difficult times.
