The picture did not match what I received. Wayfair would not give me a refund. They used to be great, but I do not trust them after this experience and will not buy from them again.

Wayfair is nothing but scammers. My item I ordered was delivered to the wrong house. The photo is NOT my house. I went round and round with them and got so many different instructions. Finally spoke to Damon in management and he was rude and dismissive. We will be filing a chargeback because this is such a headache.

I've been trying all weekend to buy something from their website. There's some kind of error that preventing me from getting very far into the purchase process. I've tried both chat and phone support and neither of the agents seemed to understand the simplicity of the problem. After reading reviews here, I'll definitely not proceed with a purchase.

I found a table on Joss & Main, a Wayfair brand. Before ordering, I called to make sure it was in stock. In hearing that it was, I opened a Wayfair credit card (backed by Citi) to make the purchase because of the advertised positive terms. Although my credit score is in the 800s, I receive just enough credit to buy the table. Okay.. whatever. I planned to close the card after paying off the table anyway. -- The table was labeled "preparing for shipment" for two weeks. I called twice to inquire. The first time I was told it's "in process". The second time, I was told there was no number in inventory. The table was, in fact, not in stock yet they deducted the price of the table from my credit limit. I canceled the table and then canceled the card. I hate Wayfair and all its associated brand. Never again.

They sent me the wrong item. To return it, I had to pay the shipping for their mistake. Hmm, you mess up and I have to pay for the shipping fee? Never again. Stay away.

Extremely unhappy with their cancellation and return policy. Ordered a desk and decided to change the color the next day. Even though the item was supposed to be delivered next week I was not able to cancel or make changes. Called customer service and talked to supervisor. She said since the item has been loaded on the truck, cancellation or changes are not possible and to return I will have to pay for shipping. Nowadays that online shopping is a thing there is no charges for return. This policy of Wayfair is ridiculous and I personally will never order anything from Wayfair.

Chair received about Oct 29th, 2024 and worked great until end of December then we had issues with it stopping in the middling of raising or lowering. It was an electric recliner with the controls on the left inside armrest. About Jan 7th, 2025 when I was lowering it from a full reclaiming position, it stopped about 6 inches from the floor and has been that was since. We called Wayfair directly through phone calls and emails and all they keep saying is, they’re working on it. We either want it fixed, replaced, or our money back and they will not respond to us. We thought we were saving a few $100’s but this company is bogus. Buyer beware if you buy any furniture from them that is electrical.

Dishonest company with inaccurate shipping dates. I placed an item which showed that I will get it get it in 5 days. It arrived 15 days later. And in return I am asked to pay for return shipping costs. Stay away from this scam.

I have spent a couple thousand dollars on Wayfair - I can’t seem to escape all the issues. There hasn’t been a smooth transaction yet. Paid $650 for a coffee table that they sent me a used looking base - NOW I’m still waiting for a replacement part weeks later. Issue after issue after issue and nobody seems to know WTF is going on there - I keep getting different answers and the run around. Needless to say - I’m done spending my money at Wayfair. Very poor. Update: they finally reached out and I received the answers and finally some clarity on the replacement part for one item. The part finally came in and order was completed. A lot of work for an order….appreciate the communication

I'm a pro with Wayfair. I ordered a medicine cabinet online and got the pro price. A few days later the price dropped. Apparently they have "flash" sales and if the price drops, you are out of luck. They won't price match. The whole concept of a flash sale doesn't work, especially for PROS. I will never order from Wayfair again. Be careful of their flash sales. If you order an item and the price drops a few days later, you won't get a price adjustment.

I had an awful experience with Wayfair and will never shop here again. I purchased [product name], and it arrived defective. Instead of taking responsibility, Wayfair refused to cover the return shipping, essentially making me pay to fix their mistake. Their customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to provide a reasonable solution. A company that doesn’t stand behind its products or value its customers doesn’t deserve business. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere that actually cares about customer satisfaction.

It’s not a shock that I come here to write a review and over 82% of the responses give a one star review. If they could have half a star they’d be number one on the billboard of half star reviews. I had a very simple issue that has required a very complicated solution. I ordered an item from wayfair by mistake and wanted to cancel the order before it made its way to me. I called them 12 hours after placing the order and I was told my order is “too far along to cancel that order”. By the way too far along meant a shipping label was created…the item wasn’t even in Fedex’ possession. Nonetheless, after telling me they can’t do anything about canceling my order (that is still sitting in their warehouse), they proceeded to tell me I would have to receive the package and return at which point I would have receive a refund minus shipping fees pay for shipping on an item that should have never crossed the country to begin with. The other solution they presented was call fedex my self and cancel the shipment, not that it’s my responsibility to do so but I called. FedEx told me the logical thing that can’t cancel the shipment the shipping company has to do it (Wayfair). Something they refused to do while the item is still in their possession. So moral of the story is don’t bother shopping with this company unless it’s the last item on the planet and you have to have it because it reminds you of your favorite childhood pet because otherwise it’s not worth the potential possibility that you have to spend time dealing with their useless customer service. Btw it took multiple calls to get no where with them because they hung up the phone on me when I asked to speak to a competent supervisor. All you had to do is not send out the package from California to Florida for no reason.

Ordered a dining set. No fault of Wayfair but FEDEX lost the package - I contacted Wayfair and they issued a refund.... I asked them if they could try and trace package but NO. They offered to send a replacement - but the timing was going to take too long and they would not expedite shipping. I opened a trace with FEDEX - found package - but Wayfair had already put a return request to them. FEDEX said that the shipper could contact them and they would get the table to me on that day b/c it was still at the local office. Contacted Wayfair and they refused to contact FEDEX. They were RUDE, condescending and very unhelpful. Over the last year I have purchased a lot of items from them. That stops now. I am not going to continue to give money to companies that do not value me as a customer. It was the rudeness that made this so horrible. You go out of business one customer at a time.... So disappointing.

I am extremely disappointed with Wayfair’s service. I was given incorrect information about a furniture set, which led me to order an extra item that I didn’t need. Now, I am being forced to pay for the return, even though the mistake was on the company’s side. Additionally, the rug was packed in just a plastic bag, and Wayfair provided only one return label, which meant I had to purchase an extra box for $100. Customer support takes no responsibility for their mistakes, simply referring to standard return policies. Instead of helping their customers, they make them pay for Wayfair’s own errors. I do not recommend Wayfair if you care about honest service and proper customer support!

I CALLED TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT A SET OF LAMPS I WAS INTERESTED IN. GOT A REP WHO WANTED MY EMAIL WHICH I DO NOT GIVE OUT UNLESS NEEDED! SHE KEPT TALKING OVER ME ABOUT HOW THEY DONOT SEND JUNK MAIL. IF I ORDERED , I WOULD GIVE IT! SHE NEVER ANSWERED MY QUESTION AND TOLD ME THE ITEM # WAS ABOVE THE PHOTO PAGE...IT WAS NOT. WE WENT BACK AND FORTH, I GAVE UP. THERE WAS NO MANAGER AVAILABLE SO I HUNG UP AND ORDERED AS IN 4 PLACES SET OF TWO WAS ONE ITEM ON ORDER PAGE AND ELSEWHERE. SET OF TWO FOR $118.

I give it 2 stars because the merchandise is nice , but I would not order from them again due to their extreme return shipping rates and the fact that when you try to cancel an item they can take up to 2 days and then they always say it’s unable to be cancelled because it’s too far into the shipping process. My items had not even shipped yet and were not due to arrive for a week from when I tried to cancel, so I know they were no where near shipped. Make sure you want to keep the items you order. They used to have a much better return system, I will stick to Amazon.

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT WAYFAIR AGAIN. I am an interior designer and had defective sheets that were outside the warranty. Being a designer, I know fabric and the fitted sheet was shredded in the middle, these were expensive linen sheets which should last years! I asked if I could receive a discount to replace it. I was told no. There was not one thing they would do to compensate for the obvious flaw that appeared for a product that was placed in a guest bedroom, that had barely been used. Wayfair used to have excellent service. I would never shop here again. In today's world service is as important as it ever has been. Follow up - I was offered 15% which is nothing for sheets that cost my client $200.00. A substandard product was sold to me, with no accountability, just the standard "outside our warranty." I asked for reasonable compensation. I stand by my statement. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT WAYFAIR AGAIN. I have been a loyal customer which is worth nothing to such a big company.

Hice un pedido hace 2 meses y aun no ha llegado! Eso sí lo cobraron de la tarjeta al momento! Cuando me comunico con ellos dice no encuentra el pedido y x correo electrónico tampoco saben darme una respuesta!

Wayfair CS could learn from Amazon. Unbelievable. I ordered and paid for assembly of a cabinet unit. The unit was damaged by the installer that Wayfair hired and sent to my home; Yet Wayfair is making me wait until the item is returned to refund my money . Very poor CS.
