The final outcome we had and it was as some of the reviews have stated the lady that was dealing with Our case Had not even returned any questions from emails when I’d ask for a copy of the terms and conditions, I never got no reply. I never received any and I don’t think she had any intention of ever sending me them then we got passed over to a colleague of hers and they came up with us wanting to reduce to another £90,000 and it played into our hands because by this stage I didn’t want anything else to do with the company and we wouldn’t have to pay the £950 if we refused which is what we did bluntly refused and we were well aware of what type of company we were dealing with at this stage I had requested that all our data be deleted because sensitive information was sent and the app they make you put on your phone. I have tried to delete that data and cannot so I’ve deleted the app completely. I don’t think I would ever go back to this company a second time and I feel sorry for those that are in a position where they have to move and I think it’s exploitation so in the beginning those of you who are thinking of going with this company they will give you that first figure but believe me by the time they finished that figure will reduce and reduce and reduce until you have really got nothing, but in our case, we actually gained because we weren’t prepared to lose and what we would suggest is go with the estate agent and just sit out because even if you reduced Half of what they make you do you’ll still be making more than you would by going through this company so very disappointed and we had a lucky escape so we put these reviews up so you can be warned in advance!!

What a bunch of time wasters They offered us £180,000 which we accepted. We proceeded to buy another property and agreed terms 1 week later they came back with a pathetic offer of £115,000 absolute joke & waste of time. Please done use this company they can shatter your dreams. Fortunate we sold through a proper estate agents & got what we wanted in less than 24 hours
*** 18/06/2024 - ***WeBuyAnyHome raised an objection to my original review and Trustpilot took it down. They say I named staff members and this contravenes review policy. Yet these staff members appear in the team section of their own website and they have no objection to them being named in full in positive reviews, to which they respond, 'We are glad that you found X to be so helpful...' If staff are not meant to be referred to, then all reviews, both positive and negative should have names removed. I've reworded the review to refer to job titles only. *********** Dealt with this company July 2023 to January 2024 which involved 6 different staff members. Was made an offer by X1 and sent a docu-sign for a different client with a similar name. Was reassured my offer was not sent to the other person. I have no idea if that's true, but either way, a data protection and commercial sensitivity breach. Then passed on to the X2 Senior Customer Care Manager (SCCM) and X3 the Senior Property Analyst (SPA) who were very hard to contact during the legal process of identity checks and valuation and then heard nothing. I chased repeatedly and finally told them I'd need to break the agreement. They released me but said they wanted to make a lower counter-offer. I asked them to let me know the amount and again, never heard back. In September I was contacted by X4 who asked if I still wanted to sell. He never got back with a price. In October I was texted by X5, wanting to know if I was still selling. I didn't reply. Instead, I emailed the SCCM and the SPM for clarification on whether the people making contact were legitimate WeBuyAnyHome employees. They never replied. X6 phoned in January 2024 and claimed that I was sent a counter-offer in 2023. If that were true, they never followed up. After consultation with his management, X6 offered me a much lower price than the revised 2023 offer. I am happy to say, that in spite of all the inconvenience and stress of dealing with WeBuyAnyHome, I think I really dodged a bullet. I would advise anybody to do what I ended up doing. Find a local property auction company, ensure that your solicitor helps put together a comprehensive legal pack, get some great photos and choose the traditional auction route, where once the hammer falls, the buyer is pretty much locked in. I ended with a bidding war on the day and achieved a really good price.
Really clear on policy and what could be offered for my home, absolutely no pressure to take the offer and a balanced view given.
