May 24,2024I enquired online and they quickly got back to me, asked me a couple questions and then gave me a quote. They also offered a 2nd option should I decide not to take the cash offer. Doesn’t get much easier!

May 23,2024We popped our house on the market with a local estate agent in February, hadn’t had any real interest so chose to contact we buy any home. I really wish we hadn’t wasted our time. In hindsight We were given an extremely unrealistic instant valuation. On the 25th March we had somebody come out to take pictures and collate everything they needed to give us a proper valuation. It took until yesterday, after CONSTANT hassling, to get a final valuation off them. £50,000 less than the instant valuation! For context I thought I’d contact a competitor. After a quick phone call and taking our Rightmove listing to 2 local estate agents, they came back to us within hours with a valuation which matched WBAH final offer. If I would’ve known 8 weeks ago what I know now (and there’s no reason why we couldn’t have got a more accurate idea after what Upstix provided today) I would not have wasted my time perusing WBAH getting pictures of my house. We would’ve reduced our home to less than what the estate agents valued it at have sold it to an actual buyer quicker. I’ve spent hours of my time chasing them for this valuation and have been strung along for weeks, chasing a price which just would never have worked for us! I’m extremely frustrated, and not only had is affected us but also the upwards chain who relied on us and the information we were told by WBAH. They accepted a lower offer on their home in the promise we could have this wrapped up within a matter of weeks, now the hope of getting my dream home is out the window and I’ve wasted 8 weeks of chasing and hoping for the quick and easy sale they advertise.

May 22,2024I spoke with Rosie today who was really helpful. This was my initial enquiry and based on the information given I have chosen to proceed with selling my property to WBAH. Obviously the figure is lower than market value but this balances out with a confirmed purchase, no estate agency fees & peace of mind! I will review again at the end of the process.

May 21,2024So far so good. I mad an enquiry last night and got a call this morning. I sent them a copy of the home report to give them an accurate figure to work from. The offer that I got from Anand was a long way below market value but acceptable as I’m after a quick sale for health reasons. I’ll update this post as the process progresses. God willing they will stick to the offer and everything will progress as stated. Day2 Had a call from Russ today. Looks like he is now handling the case. Still 5stars. Now waiting for them to come and view our bungalow. As we are on the west coast of Scotland it may be a few days
