Jun 04,2024Received a reasonable offer, which I accepted and things looked like they were going well until the expected completion date, kept saying they were sorry for the delay. Then tried to drop the price by over £10k. When I refused they put me through to their 'sister' company, when a very pushy salesman tried to get me to sign a contract without reading it. In the contract was a clause that said if I refused to negotiate with their buyer regarding the sale price I would have to pay them £7K, so basically I had to accept any offer they said. Also If at the end of their contract time I sold the house within 6 months with another agent I would have to pay them half the fee. The issue is not with the sister company as I did not sign the contract. The issue was with We Buy Any Home. The price they have offered was dramatically cut after I chased them as the promised completion date had passed. Only after much chasing they dropped the price, surely they research they price before an offer is made. I think they just hope you are desperate enough to accept.

Jun 01,2024The absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with Offered a rediculously low amount which I decided to work around and go ahead as stated to them I had changed jobs and didn’t want the hassle They then came in with another offer 20k less than the first one but Id already given my tenant notice as they could not be in it on completion Day before completion they still hadn’t got any documents they needed and kept saying would be tomororw 2 weeks after originally completion and a lot of calls and emails I asked to pull out and they said I couldn’t due to exchange if contracts 3 weeks after they decided they wouldn’t buy for the original price they offered or the second price and came in another 20k lower now selling a property worth 120k for 29k I have told them absolutely not The lies, false promises and the way they speak to you is absolutely disgusting trying to make out it’s your fault they didn’t ask you for documents and even when they asked you 3 weeks after completion it’s your issue that you emailed them to the colleague but this colleague needs them It’s been 7 weeks of hell with no positive If you are desperate do not use them, you will end up in more debt that you started with If you are doing it purely for ease it’s not easy stick it out with someone else, offer out on Facebook for the lowest amount before fees Do not use this company I have experience some estate agents who speak to you worse but even they don’t rip you off, who ever left more than 2 stars clearly works for the company and has had to write a review
