Dec 18,2024Contacted we buy any house, spoke with (not able to name employee) who was all very nice at the beginning gave all the information regarding my property and expected a low price, thats what I knew I was getting in to. Original offer £125k, after a week offer reduced to £100k, final offer after being ignored for 2 days after all enquires retuned, £75k with a completion date of tomorrow (13/12/24), I’ve declined this offer. On my final call with employee he was incredibly rude told me lies regarding a local estate agent. I have spoken with the local estate agent myself who advised what I was told regarding another property was untrue. The process takes a lot longer than 7 days. I found it hard to find a review where a sale had actually completed to see how that persons experience was. Edit have removed name of the contact I dealt with at We buy any home as, company reported that this information needed to be removed, I have removed this information although I can see if other reviews it names the contact people have dealt with.

Dec 13,2024I wish I had thought to read these reviews first. Like many others a price was agreed for the house in question. After a survey they wanted to drop the price buy £16000. After much consideration I agreed as I wanted the process over with. They then wanted to drop it by another £5000. I refused and got the price back to the second offer. Unbeknown to me that solicitors fees would then be taken of that price. Everyone I dealt with where polite and friendly but when it was all over I felt I had been done.

Dec 11,2024DO NOT BELIEVE THE FAKE REVIEWS AS THEY PAY A £25 INCENTIVE TO LEAVE A 5* REVIEW! We got backed into a corner with our home sale and decided to use this service to sell fast, thinking the high average trustpilot score must mean they were a trustworthy company that offered a good service. They lowered the offer price about five times throughout the process, as late as THE DAY of completion leaving us absolutely no choice but to proceed at a drastically reduced offer with no justification, or risk collapsing our whole chain. Lesson learned and never again. Avoid.

Dec 11,2024Price confirmed, gave us a date to move out by. So we began to put all our belongings into storage. As the day of sale came we received a email stating the agreed confirmation of price has changed and now they would only give us 20,000 less than the original price. After we declined this, they said they could put it through auction for us. We also declined this and asked for the agreed price. Now avoiding all contact we try to make with them, worst experience ever.

Has anyone noticed that all the good reviews are just people saying they had a great conversation BUT NOT any mention of people who went the whole way through to completion and getting the cash into the bank…..!!! Why would people leave 5 star reviews over just a conversation when they haven’t going any further with the company…..this is a shakedown operation….there should be tonnes of reviews stating how the whole sale goes from start to finish and ive only found 4 for the whole of 2024 and even they are not very informative…..be very careful!!!!!
