Oct 15,2024*UPDATED 08.12.24* Having stomached taking a hair cut for a quick completion, on the due day of completion, We Buy Any Home, called us and offered £110k+ LESS than they offered for the original quick sale offer, which was £100k LESS than the estimated Zoopla valuations: Low £445k high £544k estimated £494k. The house needs approx £25K to decorate/freshen up to a rentable standard so we were willing to accept the offer on the basis that a swift sale would enable tradesmen to complete the works and get the property on the market by the New Year. Ideal for us as we live nearby and ideal for them to start getting a return on investment. We refused and 3 days later they came back with an offer £55K LESS than the original offer. Clearly We Buy Any Home was trying it on. Again we have refused as we had already compromised and agreed to meet them half way. ****** Quick and easy to get an immediate cash valuation. The valuer who called me back promptly was helpful and displayed no high pressure sales techniques to push me to proceed. Everything was clearly explained and I may still follow this route for a swift trouble free sale. I will update my review once I’ve made a decision. ***** *WARNING* BE VERY CAREFUL AND DO NOT RELY ON HONESTY OR PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY.

Oct 11,2024Although not the amount we were looking for, it was explained well as to how they came to that amount, lady was very pleasant and wasn’t pushy at all. If you were happy with the amount and went ahead, they said they cover all costs too aiming for 7-10 days completion, so would be great if the right price was offered to you

Seems pretty transparent to me however on this occasion I did not proceed. In future though if I need to get something sold quick I would highly recommend. In a nutshell, fair price, transparent and friendly service.
