Nov 06,2021My on-line order was shipped to a Post Office box. I have no idea how the box number was in my profile. Luckily the box holder telephoned me and brought the order to my house. I think that now I've corrected the profile.

Nov 06,2021So, I was doing Ironman Canada Oct. 24, and I needed a suitable jacket for the forecasted 5 inches of rain and 40 mph wind. I was driving to Sacramento, and they got my order together last minute very quickly: a Castelli Men's Alpha RoS 2 Jacket, Castelli Difesa 2 Cap, Showers Pass Crosspoint Waterproof Knit Gloves, and Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Barrier WxB Shoe Covers. The jacket was too small, and my wife picked up another one one size up which they got together before she flew down. My Ironman was cancelled due to the bomb cyclone, but I have used the gear in heavy rain and cold and wind a few times now. The jacket is to die for--I love it. Windproof and virtually rainproof, and pretty aero. It's expensive, but it is worth it if you ride in the NW winters a lot. The gloves are excellent--warm, dry and functional. The hat is okay--a bit sized too small, and leakes at the seams, but I still like it. The booties are nearly useless. They are hard to put on, leak, and I doubt will hold up. But overall, I was very impressed with Western on their ability to get me everything I needed very quickly. If I would have raced, I would have been ready for the weather. Castelli seems to run small--order up at least a size.
