I changed my cat food to Whiskas from Felix after they changed the recipie and my cats started to get ill. Now the same thing is happening with Whiskas. Cats are either turning their nose up and refuse to eat it or are being sick.

Whiskers pouches were 100g for ages. They have now gone down to 85g but still charing the same as when they were 100g. Money grabbing a***holes. Seems like the recipe has changed too, because my cat rarely finishes her bowl now. She used to love whiskers. But she seems very indifferent towards it now. Time to find a new cat food. These big companies never miss a trick, jumping on the bandwagon of screwing more money out of people, when people are already struggling to make ends meet, with the cost of living crisis. It's just pure greed. Gonna check out aldi's cat food and see what that is like. I've heard good things about it. Wont be buying whiskers again.

I have been a customer for many years I chose whiskers because of price, g in pouch and you were a reputable company, now I have heard you have changed pouch sizes to 85g at the same price of 100g pouches just like the other robbing cat food providers, you probably don’t give a care what I have to say, as long as you are making money, it’s all about greed and not about service, loyalty, being a reputable company any more and it’s sad this country can’t take any more. Don’t add to the problem.

The new 85g pouches will not be touched by my cats. They sniff it and walk away. Whiskas say they haven't changed the recipe but this is obviously not the case. I'm glad they're not eating reading the other reviews on here from people saying how sick their cats have been! I tried mixing old and new pouches but even then they don't want it. There is something very wrong with the new pouches.

Both my cats have been fine with Whiskas until my current order. Noticed it was described as “new”. Firstly the sachets which were 100g are now 85g. Even worse, although my cats eat it, it’s making them sick. Eat it and bring it straight back up, especially the chicken sachet. Have they changed the ingredients? Won’t be buying again!

Did you notice that the pouches are 15g less, but the price of a box of wet food is the same? Imagine you buy a box, there are 40 pouches, if 15g less in each, the result is -6 pouches. And then the price for the same box shouldn't be lower?

Kitten food recipe has changed.. looks and smells different , both my cats will not touch it. Cheapened ingredients with a price that has increased.

Im steaming about the 'new' cat food Whiskas has put on the shelves. It's really that horrible MUCK WHISKAS DELIGHT and to cap it off, they have reduced the size of each packet from 100g to 85g even though the price of cat food generally, has gone through the roof. Lets face it, this is not a caring, compassionate industry. Like most businesses its all about the bottom line. SHAME ON YOU WHISKAS AND THE MARS COMPANY THAT SUPPLIES THE FOOD. How UTTERLY DECEITFUL of you to try and push that one past the public. Times are difficult enough without people and industries weve come to trust to LIE about their products. I will NOT be giving my precious companions anything more made by this company. DESPICABLE.

Har nu mistet 4 katte pga jeres produkt, de er alle blevet syge og gået ned i vægt. Jeg har ikke i min vildeste fantasi troet der kunne være noget galt med foderet, inden jeg ved et tilfælde prøvede et andet mærke.

My cat has been eating whiskers dry food for 12 years. This last bag looks totally different in packaging and content. The dry food looks totally different and he won’t even touch it. What’s going on?

i don’t know what’s going on but both cats are so hungry straight after their feed one has even resorted to stealing pouches which are all in a plastic box with a lid, yes he’s mastered opening in desperation.

Our cats have been fed on Whiskas for most of their life, but now they are less enthusiastic and more hungry following feeding than before.. we are looking for other options

Further to my review on 9 December, Whiskas (Mars Petcare) finally replied to my e-mail. They said that the recipe had not changed BUT they manufactured cat food to "an open plan formula" which means they produce cat food according to whatever ingredients are available..... this means anything could be added such as pork, lamb and many other ingredients. This is not stated anywhere on their products. I for one will never buy Whiskas again after making 2 of my cats very poorly !!!

I have 2 kittens around 6 months old, both from 2 different litters. When trying to find whiskas kitten food in shops it was impossible so I made a £70 order online, enough to last 3 months. When I started feeding them the wet food(mix between fish and poultry) I was coming home from work and the whole house smelled like off cat food as if the food had been sitting in the bowl for days. I wash the bowls before putting a new sachet in every time being cautious as I know cat food can go off rather quick. I observed them when putting the food out after noticing this smell and Chunkz(gets his name from being a greedy guts when we first got him) was smelling it and walking away, this was very abnormal for him due to almost clearing the bowl straight away every time you put food out in the past but Charlie kept eating it so I just thought Chunkz was being fussy. Then I noticed Chunkz had diarrhoea and has done on and off for 2 weeks also still doesn’t really eat the food. This morning I was wakened up by Charlie crying at the bedroom door too find he had diarrhoea out with the litter tray as if he was trying to tell me something. I have now came onto look at reviews and are finding other customers are saying the exact same thing. Something needs to be done and I think the more customers contact and let them know surely they have to do something and recall the food. There is clearly something wrong. Now I’m left with boxes upon boxes of kitten food that they don’t want to eat and rightly so.

My cat is so fussy and only thing she will eat is whiskas gravy 11+ but the last couple of boxes since eating it she's been sick diarrhea she's 15 years and been eating it all her cat years so I put down some gourmet and she been eating that no problems something has changed 🥺
