My cat is a senior lady now and loved whiskas wet food. She won't touch it now and it smells terrible. We have tried the fish recipes and poultry but she won't go near it. We are very worried about her. At a loss of what to try as she won't eat Felix either.

Bought Whiskas 11 plus for my older cat. Wondered why she was back an hour after breakfast meowing for more food. For every 3 packs she misses out on 45g of her usual food and is starving. She finished the 12 pack in les than 3 days getting through 4 to 5 pouches per day because the left her so hungry. Its cheaper and better ingredients to just buy chicken fillets and make your own cat food!

What's going on with the Whiskas recipe lately? My two cats would clear their plates every time, but recently I've been throwing more away than they are eating. The meat chunks look very different and they only really lick the jelly or gravy off. The smell is very strong too. They have started being very vocal for food but won't eat this stuff. I had to stop using Felix after a recipe change as it made my one cat quite poorly. I've now bought some Sheba and hopefully that will get them eating properly again.

I wish to congratulate Tesco for refusing to accept Whiskas close to doubling their prices of cat food. Besides the almost doubling in price, Whiskas has also reduced the amount of food in their wet pouches and have changed their recipes to downgrade the ingredients, totally disreguarding the health and wellbeing of the very animals they say they care about. I will never buy a Whiskas product again.

I adopted a 14 year old Tom cat , he had been fed on a supermarkets own brand which he liked but I didn't have access to that supermarket so set about trying to find him something else . I spent a fortune and he started to loose weight ! I had literally tried every brand and he was not impressed . Whiskas pouches were my last resort and I'm over the moon ! First day he polished off three full pouches ! I've been worried sick for weeks ,spending a fortune and not satisfying him but now ! He's a little pig ! I'm sure Whiskas has saved his life , my purse and stopped me worrying myself sick about him . Just wish I tried it weeks ago ! I thank God for Whiskas pouches !

Purchased 80 pack fish selection, my cat used to love this , but this last pack ooh my lord, apart from shrinkage in pack size the smell was absolutely putrid, it was sloppy with more disgusting juice than fish, my cat has not touched any of it, and although not overly expensive i am still £23.99 out of pocket, you should be ashamed at this product, even considering getting contents checked out. Will not be purchasing any more, but will be interested to see what a pet food analyst would find in the contents of this disgusting food. Looking at all these reviews shame on you, and funny you never reply to any, ?????

The Whiskas tinned cat food has really gone down hill. My 3 cats won't touch it and I have to give it to the birds to eat now to finish the ones I bought in bulk.

As all the other reviewers are saying, I am disgusted by Mars pet foods blatant manipulation of their customers, selling smaller Whiskas pouches at same price and I am sure the quality is nothing like as good. Our cat who has been fed Whiskas for his 18years no longer wants to eat it so leaves it & the product goes off really quickly & stinks!!! We never had to throw meals away before. Now we are wasting so much. We won’t be buying Mars pet food again! Very disappointed with Mars as I thought they were a reputable company. Shame on you.

I have used kitten whiskas biscuits in the past when i had a litter of kittens and they were fine when they are able to eat them at 7 weeks old. A year or so since and 5 days after feeding a litter of kittens 2 of them lost fur on top of the heads, and their skin was dry and scaly to the touch. I added sunflower oil to the biscuits from a tin of sardines and their fur is starting to grow back. Even my other cats are usually keen for some and they have been turning their nose up and walking away. My vet advised after seeing them to no longer give them this brand because is it not nutritious for them to have a healthy coat and fur

Whiskers have definitely changed the recipe of their pouches. My cat won't even try the new rubbish, he looks up at me with disgust...and thinks I'm trying to poison him. It's just whiskers being greedy...they've obviously gone with cheaper ingredients, along with reducing size. Switching to sheba....yet another customer lost whiskers, who's brainwave idea was this one????

-10 so annoyed as most of these customers are. My 4 year old had been on whiskas kitten food for all of her adult life. She is so small and only has one packet a day. When it changed she would not touch anything whiskas except dry because her brother has the dry. I have tried every 1+ and the kitten and she kicks her heals and walks away. Now with her being so small I have no idea what her future holds. Many thanks whiskas for all the stress you have caused a lot of animals and their owners.

Like many reviews on here. Will no longer support money grabbing companies like these. Alternatives are few but to cut the packet size by 15%, reduce the meat to water ratio even more and put up the price .... Bye

My cat USED to love Whiskas, never wasted a drop. However it has all changed, when all the new packaging appeared which promised 'New Improved Recipes' She won't even sniff it, let alone eat it. Even runs away from it!? I've wasted more money trying every 'new' flavour by having to bin it all. I have been managing to buy some of their older(style) batches from a discount store of which she licks the plate clean! So it proves the recipe has deteriorated some how. So disappointed with Whiskas.

My cat which has happily eaten Whiskas in gravy for 3 years now refuses to touch it. The recipe had obviously been changed along with a reduction from 100 to 85gms per pouch and called new whiskas, more like Pooh whiskas the way my cat looks at it. I'm moving to Felix as my cat eats this. Whiskas change the recipe back or start thinking about going into administration or bankruptcy.

Used whiskas for years now and had no problems until recently, They said themselves no recipe change but that’s a lie as my cats won’t go near it. One is even scared of it.. Not only that but they have the nerve to reduce the portions and raise the price. Will be switching to a different brand hopefully they will like it.

My senior cats have eaten whiskas all their lives but now the new recipe makes them so sick they won’t even look at it. I now have to go through the whole process of finding new food for them and as older cats, I know this will be difficult! I feel that it’s about money for the whiskas brand and not about the health and wellbeing of the cats who were perfectly happy with the old recipe! I’m very disappointed.

One of my cats vomits immediately if he eats this. I'd like to know what they're putting in it now.

I want to put no stars as am so angry/upset/frustrated. I knew Whiskas had changed the packaging but when I noticed neither of my cats would eat it now, None of the flavours, I contacted Whiskas who confirmed a recipe change also. They don’t even like the smell, nor do I! It never smelt before the change but is now quite strong. Whilst our male has happily troughing Purina Gourmet, our female doesnt like anything and is constantly around me begging for some nice food and is only eating biscuits can’t find a soft food that she likes and in all honesty it’s quite stressful as a result of the change. She looks at me as if to say “why have you changed the food dad? Why won’t you feed me something nice?” 😢
