If you really care about your pet then do not feed them Whiskas cat food. It's cheap and nasty, has little meat content and is stuffed full of crap like ground yellow corn, ground wheat, soya bean meal, corn gluten meal. YUCK!! It's all nasty filler to get around using meat. Cats are obligate carnivores. They have no biological use for grains or carbohydrates. Whiskas is owned by Mars, a company that has no problem stuffing your kids full of glucose and sugar. You can find grain-free high meat content cat food for a little extra like Feringa or HiLife!

We discovered whiskas 11+ our 18 year old cat was having problems with her motions. Since being fed this she has been a different little girl much happier as are we .suits her well. Definitely has something good in the product . Thank you whiskas. .

I have 2 cats over the age of 7 and have recently started to give them Whiskas 7+ cat food. Never again!! EVERYTIME my cat eats one of these pouches, he vomits it back up immediately. Then suffers a bout of diarrhea. It happened 3 times before we realised it could be the food. After a trip to the vet to make sure he didn’t have anything untoward wrong, he was given a clean bill of health, we tried the food again on 2 separate occasions, and again it happened. My other cat sniffs it and won’t eat it, thank goodness! Unfortunately, we buy our cat food in bulk when offers are on. I now have a cupboard full of this food, which I can’t even donate to Cats Protection! At the end of the day, after being a cat owner for many, many years, I’ve realised that you have to pay a bit more to ensure your pets health doesn’t suffer. I have to say, both my cats do really well on Royal Canin, and that’s what I’ll buy them from now on. It actually works out cheaper if you take off the cost of vet bills!

Whiskas cat food is pumped full of rubbish with very little meat content... funny considering cats are obligate carnivores!! I would never ever ever feed my much loved cats this food, however I do buy it for the local animal shelter that I volunteer at as they ask for whiskas/felix. I purchased £100+ food, but noticed over 40 out of 50 cats were refusing to eat. After 2 days of tough love, approx 160 pouches had gone uneaten so I contacted whiskas who informed me the formula had changed and there was NO indication on the package. Of course, they were not interested. Apparently they were making it “more nutritious”... more like finding ways to manufacture it cheaper to get more profit!! ££££ Buy proper food, just because it’s a well known brand doesn’t mean it’s good

Please be careful feeding your cats this rubbish. Along with Felix and many other brands, there is only 4% meat content in their food. I dread to think what else is in there but I have recently found out that there is a lot of corn and cereals in it. I used to feed my cat whiskas up until 2 years ago when she began to vomit every time she ate it. After over £1500 vet bills in tests, the vet said that she is grain intolerant, I guess as some people are wheat intolerant. She is now unable to eat any cat foods except for a little bit of Applaws tinned cat food which has a high meat content.(However, a small tin costs £1.09) The rest of time we have to feed her human food such as fresh fish or fresh cooked meats. We feel so guilty for feeding her this rubbish for so many years but thankfully she is doing ok at the moment although she does need to take painkillers and antacids daily to keep her comfortable. Please check meat content on boxes and you will see what I mean.

I made a big error trusting the Whiskas brand because they don't care about customer satisfaction, that's for sure. I bought a load of Whiskas pouches for my cat (who is NOT a fussy eater) and she refuses to eat them. So I contacted Mars, the manufacturer as I could not find my receipt so could not return them to Sainsburys. I stupidly thought Mars would be keen to help but I was wrong. They tested a few pouches and found no contamination so refused to refund me for the pouches Leaving me with loads of inedible cat food. They covered their backsides but left me out of pocket, fobbed off and disgusted - they could not give a toss. I even contacted a very senior person who said exactly the same. I have seen a lot of negative reviews of Whiskas products on the web so maybe their products don't stand up to the hype. The Whiskas pouches were really unappetising and my cat thought they were so horrible she would not eat them. Buy another brand, because Mars certainly won't help you out.

Krystaller 5. Det rene affald! Jeg holder mig væk fra det nu! Hold jer væk fra det

Having kept cats for over 20 years, I have been feeding my cats on whiskas off and on. In the last 18 months the quality has gone down and both my cats will no longer eat it, they like asdas tiger cat food better and Like aldis also, so that proves the quality of Whiskas. I can't believe I am the only person to put a review on, maybe they had such a lot of bad reviews they asked trustpilot to close the account down!
