These last couple of boxes have been thrown out untouched. Cats have Been eating dry food. It stinks, as if it is already rotten a short while after the pouch is opened. One of my cats was rushed to the vet last week. I think there may be a connection and Pets at Home are arranging for the food to be collected and investigated. I wash their bowls, put in a new pack and they walk away… I think they know.

My Cats used to love Whiskas pouches. They are expensive and they were a treat. Now they only eat the jelly and not the chunks. What has Whiskas done? I'm going to have to move to something else as I throw away half of it every time.

I have been buying Whiskas in Jelly since I had my oldest cat when young and she is now 16 y.o. Many of the pouches are rancid when opening them you can smell they stink and rancid is the only word. I have also opened some thinking it was okay and the cat has barely touched it, and an hour later that also smells rancid. They are selling rancid cat food. It's made two of my cats ill off their food and upset stomachs. I emailed them a week ago and no reply. I'll be calling them tomorrow and also pointing them to this thread. They can't dismiss us all. The Whiskas in gravy seems unaffected. But whether poultry or the fish the food is rancid and potentially lethal to cats.

My cats always eat whisks but now the don't eat it at all. These pouches cost £14.00 a box. This is money down the drain. Don't buy this product ever

The past week my cat has been really agitated whenever we eat. He stole food of my plate this morning, which he never does. It was like he was always hungry. After some investigation today turns out the packet of sachets I bought recently are 85g each instead of the usual 100g. Same price as usual, same packaging. Poor little bugger.

A few months ago would have rated whiskas poultry in jelly as 5 star, 4 cats been eating it for a few years with no issues, normally empty bowls. Something has changed recently as they now sniff and walk away, usually ends up in bin. Filled out form form on website, including photographs but no reply.

My 7 year old British shorthair has lived on chicken in jelly tins and Royal Canin dried shorthair food..the last few months its mostly gone onto the bird table..and then the last few weeks its been a defo no no..so changed brands and thats fine..so they must have changed the recipe as I know cats are cats lol..but this is different..most probably putting junk in it to make more profit and produce cheaper.. smells awful too...duh

l have two cats both fed on W pouches, no issues occasional turn away but nothing major, then l got 3 boxes of 40 recently and they both dont want to know, one has been quite poorly refusing all food for several days, the other day l started on an older box that l still have, and as if by magic he`s back on form, eating every last bit, not one ounce of waste, l`ve been throwing out full dishes thats left to dry up, what have they done to the usual great whiskers? Are they contaminated with some bug, or is it part of this pathetic agenda to kill everything and everyone? Please investigate recall or put things back to how it was, l dont like throwing money in the bin.

The company are been very deceptive with their product. There are Pouches with different amounts 100g and 85g in but the cost is the same. Not only that they hide the weight on the back of the box rather than clearly marking it on front for all to see, if other companies can put weight on front of box why can't Whiskers.? It's been decietful. On top of that there is more water than Meat or Fish in the food. So much for caring about Cat welfare. More a case of caring about profit than welfare of the animal.

Price has shot up by as much as 50%, but the quality has gone down. It smells horrible now. Afraid I'm not feeding my cat this garbage any longer. She is part of the family so I am quite happy to pay more and find higher quality food elsewhere.

my kitten is gonna be 1 year old soon and its really loving the whiskas ocean fish dry cat food.but ive noticed that my cat eats all the biscuits while she's not willing to eat the fish shaped part......i would be happy if i can just buy those biscuits separately....so that my cat would love eating them . i will really be thankful if you people can sell those separately as well.(money is not an issue)

I've recently had a very poorly 1 year old cat who wouldn't stop being sick and eventually stopped eating. I checked her water, checked her worming schedule, checked her litter box as she might have eaten something... everything fine. What's been making her sick is whiskas dry biscuits, have they changed formula or a bad batch?? I've now changed to a different brand and she hasn't been sick since.

I dont often write reviews but I am on this occasion, I recently went from having 2 cats to 6 to feed, I used to feed them pouches but its become less affordable. So I switched to tinned cat food and normally a supermarkets own brand. My cats weren't as keen on tinned as pouches because they tend to be dryer with less jelly etc. However they absolutely love Whiskas tinned salmon in jelly! And ive noticed its full of jelly throughout and moist and reasonably priced! I cant say how nutritious it is, but my cats will suddenly go off brands with no warning so they ve had the gourmet ones and the recommended by vets ones….until they turned their nose up…normally straight after I've bought a bulk amount lol

My cat has always eaten whiskas with no issues. The latest batch I bought smells disgusting and he will not eat it. Goes up to the bowl, sniffs it and walks away. Have they changed their recipe or something?

We started feeding a local stray (who has since adpoted us) about 8 months ago. After a few weeks we tried him on Wiskas fish pouches which he liked. A box of 40 was followed by a box of 80 and when that box was down to the last 6, another box of 40. Without thinking I gave him one of the new pouches before the old box was finished, which he refused to touch. I then used one from the old box; all OK. This pattern repeated until the 6 from the old box were finished. Try as I may to tempt him to eat pouches from the new box, he won't. Something in the recipe has obviously changed and, as far as our cat is concerened, not for the better!

I've been buying Whiskas Complete food for several years but since March 2022 my two cats just keep throwing up after eating it. What have they done to it? Won't be buying again.
