I bought a giant 80 pack of their poultry selection in jelly and I noticed that my cat was not really eating much of it so I added whiskas dry food and he ate all the dry but not the jelly food. The jelly wet food has NO smell if any to it ( they used to have a high smell) considering cats eat food that has a high smell or is smelly, my cat won't eat the food. They have changed the recipe, for what reason I have no idea but I've got 75 pouches that he won't eat.

I have a 15 year-old rescue cat who's been with me for 8 years. He prefers meat in jelly, so it's been Felix or Whiskas. This year (i.e. since Covid and Brexit) when supplies have been short, he refuses Whiskas and, if that's the only thing available, I'll put some dry biscuits onto them. I have noticed that the volume of liquid has increased, the smell has become really unpleasant and would like to know the truth about the connection between the shortage of butchers in the UK post Brexit and with Covid and the clear change in the quality of Whiskas cat food in particular.

Love my kitten, bought him whiskas kitty food totally rejected it with disgust. Instead Felix was the one for him. Like every night he runs round the house 0-60 in 2 seconds.

Truly ruined the dry food, I don't understand the logic of putting treats in with the main meal, this just leads cats to picking out the treats and making themselves ill because they have overfed, my cat is sick whenever I use these which they never used to be. They went back to the original version and leave the treats out again they would be 3 stars

My cat used to be on whiskas WET FOOD when we got him. He then stopped eating it, so we switched to felix. He stopped eating that and put him on cheap food. He was fine for a while then stopped eating that too. We thought we would put him back on whiskas and 2-3days later he starts throwing up. We werent sure why untill he was throwing up alot every time we feed him his whiskas food. So we took him off and put him on felix again. He stopped throwing up. My dad accidentally bout him whiskas and fed him. He throw up. Definitely was the whiskas. Found out my cat isnt the only cat who throws up on whiskas. I found out many people have started having the same problem not knowing why. I tell them to swap the whiskas to felix boom the cat it fine. Stop feeding cats this stuff its no good for them. They trow up so violently dont do it to your cat. Even if they have been on it for year eventually. They may get ill from it. My neighbour said her at was on it for 10 years. Started throwing up out of no where she swapped his food and he is fine. Ive meet 5 people who told me the same. Whiskas biscuits are fine they seem to love those with no problem of throwing up.

I take care of a stray cat and a wild fox at work, neither will eat any of the food pouches of any flavour Whiskas are providing during the pandemic. Profit is obviously far more important than quality. I thought it was just me until I read these reviews. I fed my cat of 18 years Whiskas all it’s life, you’ve lost a customer and anytime the name Whiskas comes up in conversation in future this will be the anecdote.

I guess this works for some people but it didn't for my kitten. Ever since using this she's had nothing but the raging runny poops. My housemates cat had the same issue. To be perfectly honest don't waste your time with this brand. The amount of carbs and low meat content it's no wonder their digestive systems have troubles. It's not uncommon either from doing my research. Back to lily's kitchen after this of course I'll transition her slowly. But I've had to feed her plain boiled chicken to ease her tummy. I thought maybe I transitioned to fast but it's carried on too long and now she refuses to eat whiskas also. My advice get higher meat content pets at home do a reasonably priced version with higher meat content.

My kitten refused her Whiskas kitten food even when really hungry but would devour Felix and supermarket own brand product. I have had to throw so much away so will certainly never buy it again

WHISKAS CAT FOOD IN POUCHES IS NOT A GOOD FOOD,I HAVE 2 CATS WHO TURN THERE NOSES UP AT WHISKAS IN POUCJHES, THEY WILL EAT THE JELLY AND LEABVE THE BITS OF SO CALLED MEAT FISH ETC.I DOUBT THESE ARE FILL WITH NUTRITIONAL MEAL FISH PRODUCTS, IT APPEARS THE ALL MAKES USE THE SAME ,CATS ARE NOT USUALLY DIFFICULT TO FEED BUT MY 2 CATS ARE WITH THIS LOW QUALITY FOOD,I AM GONG TO GO BACK TO TINS TO SEE IF THE QUIALITY IS MORE EADIBLE

We have no problem with the whiskas bicuits which we have fed to our cats for many years on the advice of a homeopathic practitioner. We are, however, changing to another brand due to the fact that Whiskas biscuits are sold in non recyclable plastic bags. We have changed to another company which supplies their product in recyclable paper bags.

My cat says whiskas is not as good as Aldi cat food. I would know, but the Aldi premium looks better.

My 12 year old daughter puc1hased a multipack for her kitten only to find several packets were empty. Raise the issue expecting a replacement for her but they couldn't care less and were focused on barcodes which were not readable. Very poor service. Won't be using the brand again.

Granted my kitten likes the wet pouches, but it gives her AWFUL diarrhoea. We gave the whiskas the benefit of the doubt first time but after re-introducing it once she was better it started all over again. Poor kitty

Good brand, i deliberated between giving them 3 or 4 stars, opting for 4 afterall. I think the price is fair given the high pure protein concentration compared to other commercially available brands, although if you're struggling with your finances, you will most certainly go for cheaper options consistently. Cats i have as well as others i know have definitely been loving Whiskas dry food, as well as wet food.

Cat loves his Whiskas pouches whereas I’m not convinced about the ingredients. The dog has grain-free natural dry food but she’s ancient. I figured the cat is young enough to eat Whiskas at the good price I get it for on Zooplus and when he’s an old man he can eat something proper.

good brand and not too pricey either. my cat has a sensitive stomach so i have to be careful with particular treats that he can have. he likes the dental bites though and they seem to keep his teeth strong even as he's getting older.
