My cat refuses to eat whiskas after eating if for years and years! Why weren’t customers advised the recipe has changed … I thought my cat wasn’t well!!! Absolutely appalling way to treat their loyal customers! You aren’t meant to change animals food but I am Going to have to introduce another brand to my cat who is 18 … shame on you whiskas !

Our cat is refusing to eat her favourite food since the recipe change, she has been fed this food for years and there was never an issue but this is now a joke. Absolute waste of money and the pouches are even smaller too, whiskas is a joke and now ripping people off.

I don’t understand what’s happening but my cat will no longer eat Whiskas cat food after years of eating it!! Something has changed not for the better

Both my elderly cats are refusing to eat the new Whiskas 11+ cat food. It's a complete waste of money as most of it is going down the toilet.

The new 11+ whiskas has put my cat off eating the wet food. He sniffs it and walks away. Don’t know why it has changed so much. Think I will have to try him on Felix now or another brand.

Thought I would have a change and go with whiskers cat food. Now my cat is just over 1 year old & not a fussy eater . 1st pouch smelt terrible, so chucked it the second pouch he wouldn’t go near it. Was I just unlucky with an old batch or is there something not quite right here.

Whiskas has been my go to for years for my 3 boys. The recent changes to weight reduction, plus an extra price increase and what now seems to be a new recipe as well. 2 out of my 3 boys now refuse to touch it, literally look at me in dispair going "what the hell is this". Will have to move to a different brand like Felix as I can't starve them!

I have been using whiskas food for decades. I feed many strays, feral cats and adopt cats with complex medical conditions. I am in shock that the pouches have reduced by 15% yet still just as expensive. I will now have to look in to alternatives because this is getting ridiculous. What a shame because I feed a small army of cats and rely on whiskas cat food to keep everyone happy. I think they may notice a huge dint in profits because I am no longer buying 😂 going through hundreds of pounds worth of food weekly.

Noticed the pouches seemed half empty and checked against the Felix ones to find their was15% less in the Whiskas pouches! Once my small stock has been used, I will definitely buy Felix in future. Whiskas is a rip off - shame on them for not making the reduced amount clear to customers.

My cat won’t touch the new cat wet food pouches. The meat seems dry and powdery. I’ll have to start looking for alternatives, which could be tricky as she previously only ate whiskas

Absolute disgrace, with no visible warning whiskas have reduced the sachet size to 85g and are charging almost a pound more for a box of 12 than they used to. How dare they charge more and reduce the amount per sachet. Won’t be buying anymore whiskas products. These big company’s think it is ok to hike up prices way above inflation, make huge profits and expect customers to remain loyal. I will be finding an alternative to a lot of big brands and will not be returning to them if prices decrease out of principle.

I have only just noticed after my cats seem hungry after their meals that the Wiskas pouches are now 85g instead of 100g When was this change to our cats diet HIGHLIGHTED to your customers? Is cat health suddenly not important to you at Wiskas? All you huge companies maintaining huge profits are fooling no one

My cats will not eat the new recipe pouches. It used to be the only wet food one of them would eat, now she is stuck on just dry food (not whiskas by the way). I have no idea why you feel the need to do this when everyone knows how picky cats are so you have now lost our custom.

Absolutely shocking they changed the size and the recipe and charge more .. Haven been using whiskas for almost 15 years with different cats over the years .. I've now got to buy fleix food and hope my cat eats it if not she will go hungry. With the state we are all in with money issues cost of living and now cats will be going hungry.. no other brand has changed the size of price or recipe. I will no longer buy any whiska products until the sizes are brought back to 100g and the recipe is changed to the old one .. who's idea this was needs to be sacked straight away

My cat is refusing to eat the NEW Whiskas 11+. Not only is there only 2 flavours in the box instead of 4 the pouch size has changed from 100g to 85g. I wouldn't mind the smaller size if he were to eat it, but he absolutely refuses to eat it. He will sniff it and walk away. So am now having to try out different brands to find one he will eat. He had previously eaten the Whiskas 11+ every day until it changed. Not happy !!

Been using Whiskas for years, like everyone else has noted they are now 85g packs, not 100g, now given the price has gone up a great deal already in today's climate, it is shocking you are getting smaller amounts. Also noted from other reviews they have changed the recipe and it is making some cats sick, will now be looking for another brand for my cat.

cats stopped eating new recipe. just to look at it looks cheaper. smaller pieces of poorer quality meat. and for the pleasure of this new disgusting recipe they have reduced it to 85g at the same price. Whiskas have upped their prices by around 35% before this latest rip off. goodbye whiskas hello iams.

Couldn’t understand why my cat wasn’t eating Whiskas, that she normally loves, and then looking here confirmed my suspicions that the receipe has changed. Should have been suspicious when I saw the jazzy new box! I wouldn’t have minded the packet shrinking if the contents had stayed the same.

Reduced the size, reduced the quality, increased the price. Whiskas report that research done by Waltham Petcare Science Institute says 85g is the right size for cats. Waltham Petcare Science Institute is owned by Mars Incorporated, Whiskas is owned by Mars Incorporated.

Been feeding for over 10 years and pouches have just decreased in size and ingredient list changed with changes being hidden on bottom of box. The recommendation used to be 3 pouches a day for a 5kg cat, now 4-4.5 a day for same size cat. They haven’t changed the price so cost per day has gone up by 50%. The contents also now smell like a cheap cat food. Avoid.
