Jan 12,2017I was a bit surprised how long it took to send the product out for delivery, with no communication during that period to alert me to status; I was about to call to ensure the order was being processed. The product did arrive quickly (same day), once sent, because I happen to live in the same state. The quality of the product is mediocre. The AML-6KG is much more professionally made, whereas the wrapping of the magnets of the Proton 1100 is poorly done, with some gaps and a rather sharp edge on one side of the foil where it was not completely sealed. The AML-6KG also projects a somewhat stronger magnetic field, consistently over 7,000+ gauss. Given the nature of the product, which do you think I will reach for first? Lol

Jan 12,2017My original cost for two gallons of shredder oil via the Whitaker website was $59.99 (no shipping cost),I paid with a credit. Days later I was informed via email I was told an additional $31.55 for shipping, I cancelled my order, awaiting a refund at this time.

Jan 06,2017Using the website was user friendly, the video demonstrations are great and helpful. Machine did arrive later than anticipated, however was boxed well and easy to assemble. Took about an hour of frustration to get the letters to fold as desired, but once that was figured out, the folding was quick and easy. There needs to be instructions and an easier way to get jams from between the rollers better. But overall I'm very pleased with day 1.

Jan 03,2017I was charged for a lift gate delivery for my folding machine and then it was not delivered with a lift gate and the custodian had to help unload. This may, however, have been an issue with the freight company. I was told that it would be credited to my credit card, so that should work out. Then, the lift table does not work as it should and I had to call Martin-Yale, so I'm in the midst of a bad experience, but I don't believe these things were caused by Whitaker Brothers. If everyone does what they said, it'll all be ok.

Dec 28,2016We ordered shredded a week ago and was told it would be here in 5-7 days. A week later, no tracking # and when we have called, directs us to a voicemail box and when left message, NO return call. BTW, they ran our credit card - so they have our money and we can't even get a return call.

Dec 26,2016Prior to placing my order, I sent in two inquiries to receive additional information about the machine. After allowing a week to pass, no reply was received. Against my better judgement, I placed an order online through their site. The ordering process itself was simple, no complaints there. Without any additional correspondence, the machine showed up not too long after. After receiving the product, we received an email the next day letting us know that the machine shipped and provided us with the shipping information. What's that saying, a day late and a dollar short? The machine itself was not overly difficult to assemble and works adequately for our needs. We have had several choppers in the past, and this is definitely a basic model, which we were honestly going for. All in all, the product is new and satisfactory thus far. The customer service is simply non-existent.
