Mar 04,2025On delivery found 3 bags split and pallet was very damp which isn't great with wood pellets used for fuel. Also delivery date was a week before the estimate which wasn't great for us.

Mar 03,2025From placing my order on the phone to the delivery it was all excellent. Special mention to the delivery driver a Mr Jones who took the crate off the lorry at front of house instead of taking around the back as always, he quickly turned the crate and wheeled to where we'd asked for it to be delivered as always and usually get a phone call so I can direct driver.

Mar 03,2025My order was easily placed over the phone, my logs were delivered on the agreed delivery date and the delivery man was very sociable, chatty and helpful. I had asked to receive a brief call when my logs were on their way, so I could move my car BUT this didn't happen, so I was caught unaware when the driver knocked at 8.45 am. This may not have been the driver's fault, as he seemed unaware that a call was expected. Had that call been made I would have given 5 stars.

Mar 03,2025Easy to navigate website and order process. The crated, oak logs are a standard length, but include a wide range of diameters, suitable for starting a fire, optimising it, to leaving it ticking over. Delivery was quick and the price competitive. There have been issues with online payment a few times, necessitating an over the phone order and payment, but this has been hassle-free.

Mar 03,2025Pallet company completely let you down. Second time has been delivered by Pallex, first time the driver complained that the load was too big for his tail lift and he usually refused to do them. This time, the delivery was scheduled for Friday the 20th of Feb, day before we went on holiday. It never arrived and got no phone call. Went to tracking to see a pic of my pellets still in the warehouse. Phone WHE and a redelivery was arranged for Tuesday. Had to get my son to take the day off work and come around to accept delivery. Allegedly the load was 'unsafe', but looked the same when it arrived as it did on the photo. Pallet base was destroyed by bad lifting. Used WHE for many years, but won't use again until they change couriers. Pallex are rubbish.

Feb 28,2025Pellets are as good as ever, but the delivery is an issue. Waited in all day yesterday for delivery of a ton of pellets in bags. No number to call the delivery company to see where they were. Finally the delivery tracking showed "aborted" at 19.50. They were finally delivered this morning (day later) I couldn't get through to White Horse after 5 yesterday. They did chase up the delivery this morning.

Feb 28,2025Unfortunately the delivery company not only managed to damage 3 bags, for which I believe I have been crediterd for 1 bag after a review by your customer service, but the delivery driver turned up with inadequate mechanical handling equipment to expedite removal of pallet from the van in one go. I had to help the driver manually load another two pallets, one of which I had to supply, so that we could remove pellet bags from van onto my concrete hard standing. This was not a nice experience as I have to move the pellet bags again to their storage location in my barn. As far as the pellets are concerned I have no issues with these whatsoever but there appears to be a regular theme of damaged pellet bags over my last few deliverys. I would also like to point out that the reason, this time, for damaged pellet bags is because the pallet used for transportation was not robust enough and was broken at the bottom upon arrival/delivery.

Mar 06,2025Prompt delivery, in fact two days ahead of schedule, luck I was in. Quality product. The only negative is that the product isn't completely shrink wrapped and so is vulnerable to the rain. If it had been raining at the point of delivery, 20% of the logs would have been spoilt.
