Jan 30,2022Don’t use these jokers. They are primarily paralegals! That’s the problem; you are not dealing with a solicitor. Check the website team as proof, take it from me who has moved To another firm. You will be waiting forever to be dealt with. They move as slow as possible. Also, you are paying for a paralegal once I moved, I realised how bad they were. I have posted this review to help others! Give this firm a wide birth!

Jan 20,2022No chain, both buyer and seller with Woodwards for conveyancing. Process started in late September 2021. Still waiting for completion as of late January 2022. Far too slow overall. In my experience they don't communicate unless pestered, it's been impossible to ring the conveyancer or get a return call. Communication zero until you actually complain. When you do complain there is no apology just excuses. Not proactive and very, very slow. Still no reasonable explanation on why it is taking this long. No doubt they will follow this review with more excuses. I would not recommend this firm for conveyancing at the present time. Chosen because they were recommended by the Estate Agent and I wrongly assumed they would be efficient and fast . My advice is to read all the reviews before committing to any estate agents recommendation. Ask for the solicitor with the best reviews or walk away 👍

Dec 08,2021A big thankyou to Rebekah Cleaver at Woodward's Solicitors for her efficiency and professionalism with regard to the necessary conveyancing enquiries and paperwork that goes with the sale and purchase of a new house. She kept us informed by phone and email on what proved to be a less than straight forward purchase. She deserves great credit for covering all the searches in what turned out to be a very short time period to completion. Our Thankyou goes to both Rebekah and to Tim Wood. I would recommend Woodward's Solicitors to anyone thinking of buying or selling their house.

Dec 04,2021Never again, I have waited so long to buy my bungalow, vacant possession and paying cash,started process in August it’s now Dec ! Passed around then ended up with Joe Wignall. Correspondence none existing unless I phone or e mail them, he knew the urgency, finally I have been asked when I want to move, then find he is out of office for a week ! Couldn’t be bothered letting me know. Now considering making an official complaint. Beware and stay clear if you want anything done with any urgency,

Nov 29,2021you may as well do it yourself, 6 months in to a sale of a property with a cash buyer in no chain and still no completion, i am having to chase everything myself. they missed an email from help to buy so they now expect me to pay another £300 for a surveyor to come out AGAIN. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

Aug 26,2021Have nothing bad to say about our solicitor. She was professional,and had our interest as her No 1 priority, you cannot ask more than that. Frustrating at times,but that was not her fault,she stuck to her guns and delivered. That's all you want from your legal representative.

Aug 18,2021Woodwards Solicitors were recommend by Belvoir, Joy was the Solicitor dealing with the conveyancing, it did take an awful long time to get the searches back from LA, I tried not to email to often but felt I needed an update from time to time. Joy was always very helpful and responded promptly. I would use them again, however, I am never moving again its far too stressful. Many thanks Joy Clever

Aug 05,2021Fantastic company that I’d recommend to anyone. Jenny Williams and the team around her have been great with supporting me and my family in recent years. Initially handling the affairs and probate after a family bereavement and more recently helping us purchase our first house. Jenny has been incredibly supportive and done everything she can to make the process as stress free as possible. I will be returning and will recommend to all friends and family.

Jul 31,2021Our estate agent recommended Woodward so thought it would be a good company. Instead, we ended up doing much of the leg work ourselves. We started with Tibbie who was rude and uncommunicative. We were passed on to Lydia after Tibbie left. Lydia was slightly better (not rude at least), but we were still not happy with the service. It felt very much as though we just didn’t matter to the company as they were too busy sorting out the big housing companies buying huge numbers of properties to benefit from the stamp duty holiday. A couple buying a home to move dying parents in with them just wasn’t a priority- needless to say, we missed the stamp duty holiday ourselves…. Our estate agents have now removed this company from their recommended supplier list.

Jul 16,2021Currently dealing with woodwards at the moment for buying a property. We have made several attempts over the past few weeks to get in contact with our solicitor who is always busy on the phone and have been informed several times the message will be passed on. The estate agent has also been trying to contact the solicitor without any success. We have chosen woodwards as they have been recommended to us by our estate agent but we are disappointed with the lack of communication.

Jul 15,2021We used Rebekah Cleaver at Woodwards to complete our recent sale and purchase. We can’t express how fantastic Rebekah was on every level. Communication was excellent throughout, via emails and over the phone. Rebekah was very knowledgeable and was always on hand to explain anything we were unsure of. With stamp duty looming and in a chain our case was up against it, Rebekah didn’t make any false promises but assured us she would do her very best to ensure we completed in time, which we did thanks to Rebekahs hard work.
