Jun 30,2021One word.....Brilliant ! 7 weeks & 3 days from engaging the team at Woodward to getting the keys for our new home and beating the stamp duty holiday end . Jun 29,2021We chose Woodward because Covid restrictions meant that we had to find a solicitors able to manage the sale of my flat on-line. The purchaser's solicitors were not the best but Jenny Williams from Woodward managed the sale carefully throughout - handling some of the more daft requests from the purchasers professionally. I would definitely recommend using their services

Jun 23,2021Totally bizarre behaviour. I’d called Woodward’s to book a consultation with regards to divorce proceedings, the next day a lady by the name of Joy Clever (not sure of the spelling) called me and arranged a telephone appointment for 10am the next working day. I kept my diary free for this appointment and waited in but Joy didn’t call, the next day I called Joy on the same number that she had rang me on to ask why I hadn’t been contacted, Joy sounded really disinterested and said that she had been in a meeting at the time of our call and was then unable to ring afterwards. She then said that she would check the details of my enquiry in her diary and call me the next day. Again no call was received. So I tried Joy again, she answered and when I stated to speak she hung up on me - I din don’t get cut-off she hung up on me! I was really shocked so I immediately called her back and she didn’t pick up. I rang the office as I literally couldn’t believe that a professional would behave in this way. This is the text message I received from Joy that was sent straight after my call to the office. “Hi Paul, if you need to contact me please do so via Woodwards as this is my private phone. I have been very busy these last few days. You did say you had contacted a few other solicitors so if you want to go with them please feel free. You are not a client of Woodwards as we hold no instructions from you as we haven’t even had an initial meeting so threats to put reviews on Our website isn’t nice so I won’t be contacting you again. Please delete my number. Thank you”

Jun 02,2021I’ve just finished dealing with Joy Cleaver from Woodward’s solicitors, and during a rather tricky conveyancing that caused one sale to fall through, I can only say that she has been marvellous, and in my opinion has gone above and beyond in her effort to sort out the problem that arose. A fully deserved 5*

May 19,2021We have recently used Woodwards for a sale and purchase after they were recommend by our estate agent and they have been brilliant, things got messy further down our chain due to very poor solicitors, luckily we had Rebekah Cleaver looking after our case who would always take my calls and reply promptly to any emails, Rebekah was very professional with a personal touch that is very much appreciated when things get stressful, we cant speak highly enough about the service we received from woodwards and would highly recommend them to any who wants to feel like a cared for and valued client rather than just a file on someone's desk. May 03,2021Thank you to Rebekah Cleaver at the Wigan branch. Rebekah dealt with the sale of my late mums bungalow, and I was kept informed of every step of the process. There was a slight problem with a boundary fence that we weren't aware of previously, Rebekah sorted all the paperwork and it was quickly rectified. The sale has now completed with no problems. I would be happy to reccommend Rebekah and Woodward solicitors.

At no time did we feel we didn’t know where or sale and purchase were up to. The turn around of our transaction was speedy and faultless especially in these difficult times. This lady worked so hard to get our purchase and sale through and her hard work was recognised as it went through so much quicker than most sales in our area. She was consistent in replying to our requests and although was not always reachable (due to being human) always came back to us in one way or another. Apr 26,2021We completed our sale and purchase through Woodwards, both went through without an issue. There were some initial administration issues with incorrect/missing documents, but this was sorted quickly. We initially had a few case handlers, but then Tibbie was our point of contact. Tibbie was excellent, she responded to queries quickly and was really clear and helpful in helping us understand the process, if you have the the opportunity, definitely ask for Tibbie to be your case handler, so helpful, friendly and professional

Jul 03,20217 months and still not complete. The solicitor apparently says (He will get round to it when he has chance). We are buying a property and the sellers solicitors is woodward’s it has now been passed to the 3rd solicitor in the company. We have been ready to exchange for months. The new solicitor will not answer messages and calls. He’s secretary states he’s to busy to reply and will get round to completing the sale when he has time. This was 2 weeks ago. Nothing is left to do other than complete. My solicitors have tried to get in contact. So as the seller and the sellers estate agents. All are in disbelief as to why after 7 months the exchange hasn’t been made. I can not believe that solicitors are allowed to do this to peoples lives and not be held accountable. It’s totally disgusting
