Apr 02,2021My husband and i are very impressed with Woodwards, especially Megan who dealt with our House sale. Megan was with us every step of the way keeping us updated on progress. She would return calls and emails as soon as possible. She even went out of her way to keep our solicitor in Scotland where we were buying a house updated due to English sale delays. The week running up to sale we had vast amount of harrassment calls from the buyer/estate agent about keys and storing items in our property and while Megan was off another collegue was kind enough and listerned to our opinions and sorted the situation out with the estate agent. Despite the sale dragging out 4 months which was all to do with the buyer side and the harrassment from estate agent about keys again the buyer, We have to say we are very impressed with Woodwards and the standard of professionalism. And glad to have sold our last link to England to Start a new life in Scotland! Thanks Woodwards.

Apr 01,2021Me and my partner Dale have just completed our house purchase and moved in all which started just under three months ago and during Covid. I cannot fault the professionalism and contact from the staff. From the first phone call enquiring about fees and the process to the end of collection of keys. I was quite a nervous and inexperienced customer and I had called several times as a new buyer with questions. I was met with a non judgementally, prompt and explanatory reply and every new term was explained to me thoroughly. Special thank you to Chelsea, Libby, Kathryn D and Darren S who all contributed to make the transition run very smoothly and offered helped through every stage (even despite the mailing issues due to the current climate). They went above and beyond and it really made the experience such a positive first for us. I would recommend Woodward’s particularly to new buyers in the Lancashire area as from experience they really were excellent!

Mar 18,2021Thanks go to Joe Wignall for his help, and work with the completion of the sale of my late mother's house. His calm, friendly, polite and professional manner has really made a difference to me through the most turbulent of family times. We did have a few teething troubles when the sale process started and I think that was mainly due to Woodwards having (in my opinion), a less experienced member of staff dealing with important documentation before it was given to Joe, and this person failing to recognise the need for further legalities that in fact became necessary to obtain, further on in the proceedings, leading to delay. That said, we got there in the end!! Many thanks Joseph. Team effort.

Mar 13,2021I have just used Woodwards solicitors for the conveyancing when purchasing a new build property. Our case was allocated to Joe, who I must say has been fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, he ensured a stressful process ran smoothly and was always very accessible to deal with any queries. Even our sales advisor for the purchasing property was impressed by the prompt response from Woodwards/ Joe. Would most definitely reccomend this solicitors. Thank you Joe!

Joe was assigned to our sale and kept us in the loop all the way through and provided a very competent and professional service. I would recommend to anyone.

Oct 30,2020Beware this firm as their fixed fee quoted for conveyancing only included for a certain number of letters, emails and phone calls and anything in excess would be charged extra. Also their terms of business did not accord with their quote, contained onerous and irrelevant clauses and referred to attached documents which were not attached. When I raised my concerns I was told that if I did not sign the terms of business, even though they were wrong, they would not act for me. I therefore instructed another more reputable firm. I am grateful I found out about their poor quality of service before I signed up with them

I can’t praise Rebekah highly enough she is very professional, easy to deal with and every time I emailed her I had a response immediately. She made the whole process seamless. Apr 06,2021I'm really happy with the service I received from Jenny Williams at Woodward Solicitors who dealt with both the sale & purchase of a property for me. Things became a little stressful at times across the chain, Jenny dealt with it all really well keeping me fully informed & she continually tried to resolve things. I felt Jenny really listened to my needs & was a great support throughout the process. I'm now in my new home & feel very happy & thankful!
