Oct 14,2024I thought this whole process would be quick & easy like they had made it sound on their website . But in fact, it was the complete opposite. I had sent my laptop in to their repair shop which is Repair Depot. It took well over 30 days to get my device back. And when I received it, it was in worse condition than when i had sent it in. There were pry marks all along the screen & it had been forced to fit together, so much force had been used that the whole laptop was bent. During all of this, I constantly had to call in and check on the status because I never received any information from them or any updates. The person assigned to my claim would avoid having to talk to me or whenever she called me back it would be a couple minutes before they closed so if I missed it then I’d have to wait until the next day. I spoke with the others workers more then I ever spoke to her . Getting my device fixed and getting it back in a timely fashion was like pulling teeth. Eventually, they sent me a whole new laptop but by that time it had been almost 3 months. I highly suggest that you DO NOT send your device into them for repairs, find somewhere local that will do it & also, make sure you stay on top of them and get updates or else they’ll drag their feet the whole way.

Oct 03,2024Be ready to fight for your rights when it comes to filing a claim with this company; Worth Ave Group. This company is just like many others. You pay your money for a certain dollar amount for your covered item; mine being an iPhone. You submit a claim and they first and formemost try and find a way to make filing the claim difficult. For example in my case. They initially stated they were unable to verify my documentation with my selected repair facility. However, this was a repair facility that was recommended to me from an email I received from them. Once I went a couple of rounds with them about that, they asked me to send the phone back to them. I did. Needless to say, they refused to reimbursment me the $60 diagnostic fee I had to pay to have my phone checked out. They told me that I didn't have enough coverage. My coverage was for the value of my phone, which was $500. I feel they should have covered the diagnostic fee but, it is okay.
